Pink Obsessed

Pink obsessed has the notes of blushing Jasmine, cashmere praline & vanilla bourbon. In one sentence "extremely praline" dominated fragrance. It's a smooth blend of floral, slightly boozy, syrupy sweetness. At initial spray I get a prominent juicy red grape note ( it should be listed in there) reminds me of a local grape flavoured drink. It immediately gets backed up vanilla & praline. The praline is creamy, well rounded & thick. There is slightly spicy note used here maybe peppercorns? After a few hours when it gets settled onto my skin I can detect the Jasmine at the heart of the fragrance & overall the creamy sweetness turns slightly powdery. The powderiness isn't headache inducing it's pleasant, sweet & pink dusting sugar like. The smell develops beautifully with the passing hour. So at first it is very creamy praline like, then it softens up a bit just so that the floral note could come through & in the final dry down you are left with soft powdery vanilla goodness. It's very sweet & potent. Even though the packaging is cheap, but the smell itself is very luxurious. The projection & longevity are superior. Creates a beautiful thick scent bubble ( you have to be a bit generous on the spray) & easily lasts onto my skin until I shower. The smell is so pink lol what an apt name for the bottle! It gives me the vibe that I'm roaming around in the streets of a beautiful pink city eating creamy delicious pastries & just being in tuned with my female energy. I like it! I might get bored with it because it's not overwhelming me. I recently smelled "forever red" which is also on the same realm just it is fruity + boozy while pink obsessed is floral+ boozy. Forever red Smelled more interesting to me :/ Anyway it's a crowd pleaser for sure because it's well rounded, mature & pleasantly sweet without coming across as boring or juvenile. Performs wonderfully in cold weather, could be a bit cloying in summer heat because of the potent sweetness. If you like sweet berry fragrances, sugary/candy like fragrances you are gonna enjoy it 🩷

This has an opening of spicy white-florals. I get the jasmine blended with some spice of pink-pepper (listed in Valentino Donna Born in Roma) and bourbon vanilla in a way that leans a little to Moroccan orange-blossom, except it isn't. There's a fruity note up top as well, reminiscent of the black-currant in Valentino Donna Born in Roma. Underneath there's a fluffy-creamy base of blended bourbon vanilla, woods and white-florals. Also maybe a little bit of powdery tonka. This works on its own. for year round wear, but also would layer well with other white-florals, lactonic scents, fruity scents, woody scents, spicy scents & more, but I'll likely layer it with jasmine, magnolia, orange-blossom, almond & lactonics. Love it. Enjoy! Update 01/10/26: After surfing through the layering threads, I saw that a suggested layer was Valentino Donna Born in Roma + Guidance Amouage. I don't currently have VDBiR, so I tried the lotion for this under Guidance and some dupes and it smells amazing! I think the Pink Obsessed balances out some of the sharper notes of Guidance and some dupes: Pink Obsessed lotion + Guidance Amouage Pink Obsessed lotion + Decadent Dream Maison Alhambra Pink Obsessed lotion + Bayn Al Asrar Paris Corner (although this lighter dupe works with many others, including Viva la Juicy DNA).

Okay so, this scent totally lives up to its name because I am literally OBSESSED with this scent. The second I smelled it, I was like, “Wait... is this giving Very Good Girl Elixir??” Because YES, it totally does and that’s a huge win in my book. It’s giving designer vibes without the designer price tag, and I am here for it. It’s that perfect mix of sweet, fruity, sexy, and just the tiniest bit floral, all blended in a way that feels so feminine and bold without being too heavy. It’s flirty, fun, and a little seductive in a playful way. Basically it’s the kind of scent that makes you feel like the main character the second you put it on. Now, the only downside for me is that it doesn’t last super long on my skin. I wish it stuck around more, because I’d seriously bathe in this if I could. BUT- here’s the secret: spray it on your clothes, and it’s a total game-changer. It smells amazing and lasts way longer that way. Like I’ll catch a whiff hours later and just melt a little. So if you’re into sweet, pretty scents with a little edge- you need to try this one.

When I first smelled this in store, I thought it smelled synthetic and unappealing. I found out it's a dupe for Valentino Donna Born in Roma and I smelled that; still, although better, not my thing. Then, just today I smelled Pink Obsessed once again and I fell in love with it. Starts out with jasmine, then slowly transitions into some vanilla and I swear I smell some pink peppercorn as well. Lasts a very long time for a body mist. I sprayed it at around 1 pm and could still smell it on my wrist at around 8 pm. sillage is moderate.This works really well with my skin chemistry. 10/10 recommend. (however someone please let me know what season this would be for, I can't figure it out since jasmine could be spring, but vanilla, cashmere and praline could be fall. personally I think it would make a nice signature scnet for all year round)

I'm IN LOVE with this scent I was already a huge valentino Donna/ Donna intense lover so I was over the moon when bbw came out with this scent I've had this for almost a year and it's easily become one of my favorite scents It starts off with a soft blend of soft, delicate Jasmine and cashmere with gives it a woody factor, then the bourbon vanilla pulls through and blends beautifully with the Jasmine The dry down is a powdery, bourbon vanilla with a hint of almond and floral It's perfect for going out on a winter night, it's gorgeous, warm and sophisticated, truly a wonder I Pair this a vanilla body wash, lotion then a couple of sprays of warm vanilla sugar, pink obsessed the top it off with a spray of a thousand wishes, this combo smells like sweet, warm, wonderful luxury

this is definitely not the kind of fragrance i normally wear (i'm a vanilla girl through and through) but this is so pretty. the jasmine is definitely dominant here and it reminds me of jasmine tea. i do wish it was a little less powdery/musky and a little heavier on the praline and vanilla bourbon though. i don't know donna born in roma very well but i personally remember not loving it in-store, whereas this was an immediate like, though not a love for me. it was also pretty similar to petal parade, which was just a little sharper and soapier in my opinion, so i personally prefer this one out of the two. i do wish this lasted a bit longer though--of the everyday luxuries items that i picked up, this is surprisingly one of the weakest.

If you want a close dupe for Donna Born in Roma then I’d pick this up. It’s not exact but it’s about 95% the same. It’s close enough that I don’t feel the need to rush out and buy a new bottle of the original DBIR. My bottle had enough sprays left that I could compare them. It isn’t exact but it hits the spot. It last around 3 hours then becomes close to the skin for several more hours, I could faintly smell on my sweater the next day. Don’t pay full price ever for bath and body works, I picked this up for $4.95 during a sale. I got another bottle as back up and caught another sale for $3.95. If you think you want I’d get it quick because they aren’t keeping it around is what I was told.

I love this one so much, I find myself gravitating to it the most out of the whole line. It’s a beautiful feminine scent that just smells like ✨woman✨ the sweet vanilla and jasmine are just made in heaven. Some people say it doesn’t last long, but I’ve learned you need to be a little more generous with this spray, if you just do a couple sprays duh it won’t last long. Some good sprays on the pulse points and hair in the morning and I kept smelling it ALL DAY. Definitely recommend this one 10/10

Yup, this is basically a Valentino Donna Born in Roma (DBIR) dupe. Sweet warm floral. I know some people are saying “it’s not exact,” and maybe it’s not, but my nose doesn’t really pick up on a ton of nuance in fragrances so my first impression was instantly “oh, this is DBIR.” Either way, it’s definitely close enough, if you like DBIR. I bought this to layer with my DBIR travel spray and extend the scent longevity. With BBW sales and deals, I got this for about $4 so I’m happy with the value!

the longevity of this is really impressive considering it's a body mist!! this lasts about 6 hours on me, which is lovely. i really like this scent, it's sweet without it being cloying, and can be worn by both younger and older people without it being strange! i'm not sure how good of a dupe this is for valentino dbir because i haven't smelled it yet, but this is probably my second favourite scent from bath and body works! would absolutely love this in a body lotion 🥹

This scent is insanely sexy, and surprisingly enough this is my second favourite perfume, and my first favourite for sexy perfumes ! I am so, so sad that this is going to dissapear soon, I will never forgive BBW! It smells so, so sexy and sultry, and I've been trying to find another similar one, but I just can't. To me, it doesn't smell at all like Valentino Donna Born in Roma, which is heartbreaking because I would've gotten that instead.

I'm so surprised at how nice this is! I think it's become my absolute favorite from the line. I got it during the semi annual sale when it was like $3 CAD and I'm so glad that I did. Bath and body works is definitely stepping up their body spray lines now. I find that a lot of them (including this one) last a while, smell amazing and actually project, it's very impressive.

i wish this body mist was never discontinued!! it’s such a good dupe and i honestly lean towards this fragrance compared to the original(valentino born in roma). affordable and draws compliments just like the original does! the notes are very rich and fresh to me, i love the sweetness and sophistication of this mist! update: thankfully it’s not discontinued, just seasonal!

I don’t see any fruit or green notes listed but upon spraying this gives me something fruity and a bit bright. Once it dries down I get the praline and vanilla bourbon but the fruity note sticks around for a while. It’s a beautiful feminine perfumey scent! I never tried Valentino Donna Born in Roma but if this is what it smells like, then I’ll be needing a bottle of it!

I love this mist. I don’t like Born in Roma because the musk in the dry down smells bad on me. This is BIR without the gross musk dry down. It is very feminine and pink. I feel like it is pretty universally likable. It could be worn in any season. It is more floral than sweet (like the og). It isn’t super strong or long lasting, but it very nice for a body spray.

Born in Roma is my signature scent (basic I know), so I’m very familiar with it from initial spray to dry down. This is a 99.9% spot on dupe! It’s woody, it’s boozy, it’s vanilla, and it’s sexy! It’s definitely a good investment if you have Born in Roma so you can spray your body with it and save the Valentino for your pulse points.

It somehow smells so much more complex and intoxicating than Donna Born in Roma, which has never really been that interesting to me. It’s such a gorgeous scent. Genuinely no idea why they discontinued it, everyone that I’ve shown it to have been hooked, it lasts forever and projects very well, especially for a body spray.

Smells very, very similar to Diesel Loverdose. Not an exact dupe, but if you’re looking for that spicy licorice vibe, that’s the overall smell I get from this once dried down. I love it so much. Mature and sexy. A great wear for cooler weather. Surprisingly lasts a long time, even on skin.

Yup, it’s definitely DBIR. I also purchased the Oakcha dupe but was disappointed because I found them quite different from one another. THIS one takes the cake; I find it nearly identical to the original so I’m very impressed. I adore layering with this but I do love wearing it on its own.

Born In Roma is my favorite perfume ever, and I am literally obsessed with this fragrance mist. It smells so similar and lasts a good few hours as well. I wish they would make a body lotion version of Pink Obsessed 💖

Side by side with DBIR, this is SLIGHTLY less fruity, but unless I was actively trying to find a difference I would say this is a very close dupe. Also, this has better longevity on me than any other BBW mist.

This is the Donna Born In Roma dupe, perfect to overspray and re-apply throughout the day. At first I didn’t smell much but it developed in the dry down.

I am so in love with this scent. It’s a perfect sweet fragrance for me! It lasts pretty decently.

Pink Obsessed is the perfect layering mist for most modern perfumes. Specifically if you want to emphasize the sweet rather than floral or woodsy aspects of the scent. PO is a quite sweet vanilla praline with a transient tanginess in the opening (probably an unlisted berry note) that ends with a powdery jasmine-woods accord. Not only will it layer beautifully with Valentino DBiR and Prada Paradox, but it wouldn’t clash with My Way, L’interdit, Good Girl or even Libre and their flankers. They probably all have Jasmine, woods and vanilla in their notes. It can even work with LVeB and Flowerbomb to tame the patchouli. This is the universal clothes mist whenever I’m wearing any of these and don’t remember which mist resembles which perfume. But what works in its favor for layering, works against it as a standalone. It would come as the most generic combo in modern perfume history.

I have never smelled DBIR on its own enough to isolate it's scent (I know it's very popular I've probably smelled it on people but can't identify it) but i DO have Rihanna Nude.... and this smells like a less fruity slightly less sharp version of that. The only note they are listed to share is Jasmine but even though Nude has guava and pear and vanilla orchid and other white flowers it smells SO similar to Pink Obsessed. It's still too synthetic-y pink candy nauseatingly sweet for me.

Similar to Petal Parade, but not as good in my opinion, if your looking between the two. This one is a little sharp to my nose, has a bit of a stick to the back of the throat feeling when you smell it which I don't like. Overall it's a good smell, sprayed it on my hoodie and smell ot the next day and it was still there so pretty long lasting I feel like. Could probably be overpowering if sprayed too many times. Not bad, but Petal parade is better in my opinion ^_^

I don't think there's a clear consensus on what this is a dupe for, but I've heard both Born in Roma and Good Girl Blush. I really pick up on the vanilla mostly, so I lean toward Good Girl personally. If this mist lasted a little longer, I would be more obsessed with it. I wish I had picked up a perfume mist of this one. I don't really smell the jasmine, but it's clear that the florals balance out the sweetness so it doesn't become a straight gourmand.

Pink Obsessed leans more perfumey and polished, with a high-end feel. The opening is bright and fruity with a black-currant vibe, then jasmine comes through as it settles. Although some find the praline more prominent. Longevity is surprisingly decent and leaves a soft scent bubble. It's similar to VDBIR, though I personally prefer Pink Obsessed. This feels more elevated and wearable to me. 7/10 Sillage 7/10 Longevity 6/10

I love this scent! It makes me feel so fun and girly and ready for a night out. The jasmine can be a little grape-like but I don't mind that. Today I tried on Burberry Goddess at Sephora and the vanilla note reminded me so much of the cozy vanilla in Pink Obsessed (except Pink Obsessed doesn't give me a headache!) The vanilla base lasts very well and I can smell it on both my skin and clothes all day.

It’s okay. Jasmine is actually the note I smell the least in Pink Obsessed. To my nose it’s more of a vanilla praline with a bit of white floral lingering in the background. Also have to mention that I think this actually smells better than DBIR. It smells good! But it’s quick and fleeting, even for a body mist. My Petal Parade mist lasts much longer than this one for some reason.

always liked valentino donna born in roma but could never justify buying it due to its very "generic" scent of white florals and vanilla. however! this $39 body spray actually is worth it! extremely identical with a tad less vanilla in the dry down, i find this one more jasmine-leaning and can barely smell the praline. overall a beautiful scent especially with that price

This one gives a very luxurious, sophisticated, feel. I can see myself wearing it to special events and occasions where I want to feel fancy. The jasmine is very strong, so if you don't like florals this may not be for you. On my skin, the vanilla bourbon and praline is only a slight whisper once it dries. But it does give an addictive, seductive aspect

Ultra feminine floral gourmand, with a seductive / sultry undertone. It makes me think of a jam or fruit preserve with flowers in it, kind of like rose sorbet but with jasmine instead. It smells more expensive than a body mist. I imagine it can be layered with many popular designer fragrances, because the composition is rather simple and crowd-pleasing.

Lovely and feminine fragrance. Wear time was 3 and half hours on me. I love the florals in it but the sweeter notes were too sweet on me. I would say this is more gourmand than floral but still very pretty and girly. I ended up returning my bottle. Just not for me.

This is so similar to VDBIR!! I have both and I always layer them to get the maximum of the scent DNA. Obviously, the body mist is not as refined and luxurious, however, considering the price point... it’s a pretty good schmoop!

It has a great dry down that is sweet and floral. It is a classy scent that has decent staying power when applied to clothing. Nothing musky or woody about it so it should not offend coworkers or those around you.

This smells like a EDP than a mist. B&BW did its THANG with this BIR dupe. Very impressed. I agree with @amethyst1221, this is about a 95% dupe. Definitely a great buy if you don’t want to invest in buying BIR.

I know this is a dbir dupe but to me it smells more like black opium. I love pairing them together and it adds a wonderful freshness I've always thought black opium has been missing

Clearly it's a dupe of something, but is it Donna Born in Roma? This smells much sweeter than DBIR. Let's compare notes: Pink Obsessed: Vanilla, jasmine, cashmeran, praline. Donna Born in Roma: blackcurrant, pink pepper, bergamot, jasmine, jasmine tea, vanilla, cashmeran, guaiac wood. So Pink has a sweet praline which Donna BIR does not have, and Donna BIR has notes of fruit, pepper, tea, and wood which Pink does not have. So... what about just Donna? Just Valentino Donna, not Donna Born in Roma? Donna: bergamot, grapefruit, iris, rose, praline, mahonial, leather, vanilla, patchouli. Aha, praline! So far we have imperfect overlap with Donna and Donna BIR but Pink is not a perfect dupe of either. What else is in the line? Extradose has no overlap but vanilla, Valentina has jasmine and vanilla but not cashmeran and praline, this isn't it. OK it's officially supposed to be a dupe of DBIR but it just isn't, it's far too sweet for that. What's it really closer to? Consider a fragrance that actually has Pink in the name and might have been the real goal: Good Girl Fantastic Pink Notes: almond, coffee, bergamot, lemon, tuberose, jasmine, rose, orange blossom, orris, tonka bean, cacao pod, vanilla, praline, cashmeran, sandalwood, cinnamon, patchouli, musk, amber cedar. GGFP has gourmand and floral notes that Pink Obsessed does not have. But it IS very sweet and and ALL the notes in Pink Obsessed also appear in GGFP. I think this is really a dupe of GGFP and somehow they didn't communicate that despite naming it in an obviously pink referencing way.

I hate to say it, but I'm with Rairey326's review. This smells like a cheap powder bomb to me as well. Now, to expect a $6 body spray to stand up to a Valentino fragrance is a little unfair, but I was hoping to try this out for a bit to see how I got along with the scent profile before investing in the real thing. It may smell pretty similar but it's really apples and oranges I bought 4 different sprays from from this line and there's something in all of them that catches in the back of my throat. Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan.

This used to be my favorite scent but when they came back after being discontinued it smelled so different and very plastic. It just was not the same. Just like snowflakes and Cashmere both during winter 2025 just stopped smelling like themselves. So unfortunate because it used to perform incredible and for hours.

Its a sweet floral. But as someone who is more into gourmands, floral notes stick out more and same thing is happening here. I get less of sweetness and more of Jasmine here. There's also slight tart note in opening. Overall reminds me of detergent tbh.
