Pink Velvet Cupcake

i have all three versions: 2019, 2021, & 2022. they all smell the same i love the 2021 and 2022 version! it smells like berries with marshmallows, a small praline note. 2019 smells like it but with a plasticity note i don’t like i always get compliments when i wear this !! i love it

One of my favorite bath and body works scents. The name is a little misleading, as it doesn’t necessarily smell like actual cake. It smells like raspberry cupcake frosting. I love layering this one with burberry her elixir 🩷🧁. Please bring this one back!

this smells amazing! i let my mom use it once and i could smell it for hours and even from far away i could still smell it! it’s very long lasting and has such a nice smell!

Smells like fruity bubblegum. Layering this with LDBS is soooo good. Like vulgar sweet goodness

Pink Velvet Cupcake is actually much fruitier than I expected! 🍓🧁 Instead of smelling like cake batter, it reminds me more of berry frosting on top of a cupcake. Think fluffy, whipped, sugared red berries with a sweet, airy vibe rather than an actual bakery gourmand. I blind bought this because the name was adorable and the packaging was SO CUTE! I honestly expected something much cakier, but that's not really what this is. It's sweet, but the sweetness comes from the berries. It reminds me a little of Velvet Sugar, but the fruity notes are completely different. Pink Velvet Cupcake leans more toward sweet sugared red berries, while Velvet Sugar smells more like fresh strawberries coated in sugar. Pink Velvet Cupcake does have a soft whipped, bakery-like quality to it (I'm guessing that's the marshmallow), so it still gives a little bit of that cupcake frosting vibe. Velvet Sugar, on the other hand, is purely fruity and sugary with no cake or bakery element at all. I actually think the name does describe the scent pretty well—it's definitely giving pink velvet cupcake. The word "cupcake" can be a little misleading because it might make you expect a rich cake batter, vanilla bakery gourmand with just a hint of berries. Instead, this is much more of a berry-forward scent with a soft whipped frosting vibe <3

A sweet & fruity treat of sparkling red berries, whipped pink marshmallow & sugared praline this is what I found in regards to notes. Just received today (was gifted the body lotion a few weeks earlier) This smells sweet but kind of like you would imagine pink sherbet smelling it is tart and reminds me a little of viva la juicy gold. But I was only able to find it in the old transparent packaging. Overall I do enjoy this and would recommend it. However it is most certainly not the best and I would recommend broad walk taffy for a cute pink and girly scent. Strawberry poundcake is the way to go if you want a true cupcake and strawberry scent (I have backups of the lotion and the mist)

I have this scent together with the matching lotion. To me I smell a resemblance to Strawberry poundcake, and it just lives up to its name. It smells like a pink velvet cupcake. Like a sweet bakery. Love it! I find that when I reapply this perfume well with the lotion, it works me wonders. But unsurprisingly since it's a body spray, it doesn't last like how perfume does.

This scent had to grow on me, as originally I was very disappointed that it did not actually smell like a cupcakes. However, this is a very nice sweet, berry fragrance. I get the tiniest hint of cotton candy as well. The fragrance also has a bit of a plastic note, so be careful of that. Overall, it is a fun fragrance, not my favorite or anything like that, but still fun.

Less gourmand than I expected, which I actually like! There’s a subtle baked vanilla quality, which I assume is where the name comes from. It smells a bit too perfume-like to be a true gourmand. I don’t think I’d splurge on a full bottle, but I’m not offended by it.

I did some research; I think the notes include marshmallow, praline, berries, and sugar, all of which i can smell. The main accords are definitely sweet and fruity, but I think I can detect some vanilla as well.

I use this to layer my kilian scent love don’t be shy as the notes are very similar. This is a great layering combo.

this smells like nothing like the name at all. theres no cupcake. its a nice scent though! my classmate let me borrow this in class and to me, it smells like powdered sugar and berries.

Nothing fresh about it, too sweet and heavy not for me

This is a very pleasant, candy sweet with a slight bakery hint on the dry down. Notes from the BBW website state “A decadent, delicious, delightful blend of sparkling red berries, whipped pink marshmallow, and sugared praline”. I detect all the notes but this is an extremely light scent with the lasting power being more like an hour, then it’s a skin scent for most of the day. That’s fine by me since I don’t like my scents to project. If you’re a gourmand lover, there’s nothing not to like about this and even though it’s super light, it’s a lovely pick-me-up!
