Pink Watermelon Blast

my older sisters used to share a room in the 90s. when they weren't home, i used to sneak into their room trying on their heels, clothes AND their small tub of wet n wild gloss. one was strawberry flavored and the other was watermelon. this body spray smells exactly like the watermelon one. guys, i'm 6 again. i should've bought backups 😭

This is the younger, more playful & sweet version of Groovy Watermelon. Groovy is a bit more muted - this one lives up up to the "Blast" name. Sugar, watermelon & strawberry. Heavy on the watermelon & sugar. The 2022 version lasts longer than the 2024 version but still delicious, fruity, sugary goodness.

I adore this fragrance. This is everything I wanted Wave child to be ($150 niche perfume). Fortunately, picked up 3 lotions and a spray. If BBW could make this into a perfume, I might be in my 40s but I'll buy it. Perfect for the beach.

I bought this while it was on sale and I must say you should not pay full price for this. It does not last more than ten minutes. The scent itself is good enough smells like juicy watermelon with a hint of zest. But with all the reapplying it's not worth it. The lotion smells different from the body spray as well less watermelon. I would not repurchase this and instead would buy a different watermelon fragrance.

I wore this one out one night, but someone at least six feet away from me told me I smelled like candy haha. I may oversprayed haha.

I like it but its VERY sweet and kind of nauseating. I get headaches whenever I wear it but it smells like a watermelon candy

Musk isn't listed in the notes, but all I get is watermelon, sugar and a heavy powdery musk which does not belong in the mix and completely ruins it. I expected something more fresh and bright but this is not that.

I was expecting this to smell like a fresh and juicy watermelon but this smells very synthetic. It doesn't smell bad but I associate this more as a scent for kids. It smells like watermelon bubblegum, watermelon sour tape, Kool-aid watermelon and watermelon scented things (like erasers, markers) and lip balm. The notes are pretty spot on except for rose. It is fruity gourmand more than fruity fresh. I think this would be a great mist for layering though. I've tried pairing it with D&G's L'Imperatrice since it also has notes of watermelon and it pairs pretty well with it.

Received this as a gift from my best friend and the bottle's 3 years old. Still smells as sweet as the ripest of watermelons. Bath & Body Works have never failed me and I will continue to spray their scent on me!
