Pistachio Glaze

Sweet, creamy, warm, nutty, woody, feminine, sensual, flirty, delightful, dreamy, decadent, rich, yummy, delicious, inviting, alluring, cozy, comforting Oh wow this is super good! I can’t believe that it took me this long to finally try it, and get some! It actually reminds me a lot of the pistachio ice cream I usually have in my freezer! I get a lot of sweet and creamy vanilla with a nutty, cherry, pistachio throughout, and just a very subtle touch of sugared patchouli in the base. I don’t think it’s at all similar to Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato, this is wayyy sweeter. It’s actually pretty unique when it comes to pistachio scents. I have SDJ 62 and VS Pistachio Creme as well as YPG and this one, but they’re all quite different from Pistachio Glaze. I enjoy them all a lot, but for different reasons. Pistachio Glaze surprisingly gives me the most realistic vanilla and cherry pistachio scent. I personally don’t really get that cherry almost almond-y pistachio scent with the others, but it’s what I typically get with any pistachio ice cream/whipped pistachio crème/creamer that I have actually smelled/eaten throughout my life. I get good performance with Pistachio Glaze. The longevity is decent it lasts 6+ hours on my skin. The projection is moderate, about an arm’s length. For reference, I’m a huge gourmand fan, and some of my favorites include Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Vanilla 28, The Wedding Silk Santal, Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, Yum Pistachio Gelato, PDM Oriana, Kilian LDBS, Princess, GdT Bianco Latte, Celeste, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, Burberry Goddess, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, YSL Black Opium Le Parfum, Guerlain Mon Guerlain, JHAG Powder Love, Ellis Brooklyn Marshmallows, Queen’s Caramel , Vanilla Salt, Phlur Honey Moon, Heavy Cream, Vanilla Nectar, SDJ Summer é Amor, SDJ 39, SDJ 62, VS Vanilla Lace, BBW Beach Nights Also, I have a ton of BBW mist (as well as VS mist, and a ton of different perfumes), and this is one of my favorites of their’s throughout the many years. i've tried this on skin multiple times, desperately trying to convince myself i like this scent, but holy fuck it's bad. the initial pistachio note is a true gourmand pistachio and i love that, but there's this underlying musky dirtiness that i've only ever experienced one other time, in santal berry silk from vs. people are attributing that to the patchouli, but i think that's just something that can happen with really nutty scents on some people's skin or to their noses, since santal berry silk has a prominent almond note. absolutely the fuck not blind buy safe, but this projects and lasts well, so if it works for you, i'm jealous. edit: i am so happy to report that i’m eating my words. i gave into the hype and purchased a bottle on sale, hoping to eventually grow into it and idk what changed, but that nasty dirty note is gone and it’s just a true pistachio extract scent. it’s beautiful layered with a chocolate lotion and perfume.

Before I start, this is for the body spray that I bought today. I haven't tried the lotion or body wash This smells like the pistachio ice cream opening of Kayali Yum Pistachio but the scent doesn't evolve/change; it STAYS as that same scent. This is PERFECT for me because I LOVE the opening of Kayali Yum Pistachio but don't like the stinky floral it turns into. The scent doesn't last long at all (≥30 mins on skin >2 hours on clothes) and it doesn't really project after the first 15 minutes. I'm holding out hope that my bottles will macerate and last longer over time. I'll update in a month or two if they did macerate well. I'm thinking about trying the lotion and/or the body wash to see if that brings more longevity. TLDR; dupe of the opening of Kayali Yum Pistachio (pistachio ice cream) but no lasting power

When I first spray this, it reminds me of vanilla cake batter! When I spray this, it smells very gourmand to me. Almost like a vanilla cupcake with pistachio icing on it. In my opinion, this is one of Bath and Body Works best additions, and I hope they keep this scent (although I'm sure it will be limited edition). This fragrance is very cozy and warm, and in my opinion, it can be worn during all seasons. It smells amazing on me and others as well, it's a pretty strong scent, but not too overpowering to where it is unenjoyable. One of my all-time favorite scents, and I hope more gourmand scents like this are to come!

TL;DR: slightly warm and absolutely delicious. dries down into a scrumptious vanilla patchouli. one of my new favorites! longevity: when applying the body cream as well as the fine fragrance mist, i can still smell it on my skin 20 hours later. sillage: pretty good, especially for a FFM. it earned me a compliment when i went out for dinner last night, although it wasn’t from across the room or anything. wouldn’t call it “beast mode” but it’s definitely noticeable. definitely more of a daytime scent. worked in warm weather, but it’ll be perfect for the holidays. i will definitely be keeping this in my rotation!

This smells like if you opened a bag of pistachio flavored marshmallows and the powdered sugar covering them just exploded everywhere. I love it nice sweet and decadent. Unfortunately, it doesn't last super long or have great projection, but that's okay. Not sure what perfume id pair this with, I haven't found one that doesn't give SDJ 62 dupe because this does not smell like that at all (thank goodness we needed some pistachio diversity) and I'm not a fan of Yum pistachio gelato :(( The pistachio eos lotion goes amazing with this tho!! Love this scent ive got multiple back ups.

I've found it hard to find my ideal gourmand pistachio scent for the past few years with the exception of Praline & Pistachio by Tru Fragrances. This is everything I dreamed of from a pistachio fragrance. Rich, buttery baked goods, sweet scrumptious vanilla, with nutty pistachio. I don't detect the patchouli in this personally. This is a very edible gourmand scent. I could see it being overpowering on a hot summer day, but it's definitely going to shine in the colder months.

Such a delicious pistachio. This is comparable to the new Angel Stellar by Mugler when I tested it at the mall. I feel there may be a mystic missing top note of cherry, I as well as others on here can just get a hint of it in the DNA. Maybe they wanted an angel stellar with a top note of cherry instead of bergamot. But the pistachio comes out over the mystic fruity note or "cherry" and just smells delicious. If this discontinues soon, it's over!

I absolutely adore this fragrance, it's right on point. I have the lotion and the spray. The lotion's color mirrors what it would look like if pistachio was ground into a paste. Due to my love of this scent, Kayali scored a sale with me for their Yum Pistachio while they don't smell exactly they same, they compliment each other with perfect harmony. Will purchase more of this once the sale hits.

When the new everyday luxuries were announced I (and others) automatically assumed that this would be a dupe of Kayali Yum Pistacho Gelato, and I couldn’t be more wrong. This is an exact dupe of the pistache skincare perfume + body butter. This smells just like a warm pistachio sugar cookie. If you like gourmand body mists, you will love this!

kind of like cheirosa '62 from sol de janeiro, but with less coconut and caramel! the pistachio and the vanilla mix really well, which makes the body spray more creamy. definitely my favorite from the "luxury" collection from bbw since i may or may not sniff it now and then if i have free time at work. i hope bbw chooses to keep this scent!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE,, i recommend for gourmand gurly faces as myself. it has more of a vanilla scent with a nutty kind of after scent like imagine something sweet with after taste like that but in a perfume. i rlly love it’s one of my favs sadly they discontinued but i’ll still keep buying the product. have the LOTION n da PARFUM jejejejej.

really nice. when smelling it in the bottle i get very realistic pistachio, on skin it is cherry and vanilla, which transforms into a nutty cherry and vanilla later on, kinda almondy for the first 1-2 minutes i smell something unpleasant, but it fades away i can see it being worn both in summer and winter overall it's a 8.7/10 for me

so yummy. literally smells just like the taste of the pistachio yasso bar which i LOVE. my boyfriend wears this every day, so to me, it rings very comforting and sweet and homey, but theres a mature sort of cologney hint that i adore. not too masculine, but not too feminine either. super long lasting as well.

This is probably the best fragrance from the everyday luxuries collection. It smells just like yummy pistachio ice cream that I used to eat in my childhood because it was the only ice cream my mom bought. It's a nostalgic scent that takes me back. Super delicious and lactonic scent get it while you can!!

i LOVEEEE this mist !! it has such a creamy and yummy pistachio flavor that smells more like a fruity pastry than anything. it's not overbearingly sweet as it sits and mellows out into a soft vanilla scent. very good for layering with powdery/mature scents for a more robust profile overall. 8.8/10

This is probably my favorite B&BW scent I’ve tried to date. The pistachio is prominent with a delicious sugary base. It smells like a warm pistachio cake with marzipan. It’s perfect for layering it with other vanilla scents, and the longevity is nothing to scoff at - especially for a body spray.

I have the EDT (EDP?) version of this and it performs pretty well for what it is. If you layer it with the body cream it becomes a fucking beast. Nearly gassed myself with it yesterday. I find it to be pretty similar to SDJ 62 but with more of a cherry/almond nuance to it.

such a cute and cozy scent! the pistachio is very prevalent at first but the dry down is vanilla and almond-esque. a nice gourmand that isn't too sickly sweet. i use this for layering during the colder months and wear it to sleep in summer bc its just sooo so comforting

This is a sweet creamy pistachio vanilla with no weird green notes like some other pistachio perfumes. I have both the mist and mini perfume. I don't get any patchouli in the mist but in the perfume it comes out a bit in the drydown. I hope they keep this one around.

I’ve got this in the body spray and lotion, had to get a backup of the lotion before they discontinued it. I miss it a lot, I’ve still got mine but I wish they hadn’t gotten rid of it. Might move on to the eos pistachio, but that one’s no as nutty as this one.

LOVE. lasts long enough on my clothes and it gives the creamy, delicious scent similar to kayali's pistachio perfume. I could see myself wearing it in the summer like sdj body mists or during fall. Got it for 14aud such a good deal!

as my username suggests i loveeee this scent. my boyfriend goes feral for it and smells me repeatedly when i wear it 😅 my mom hates the patchouli note but every man that i’ve had smell it says they love it, very cozy and rich scent

The best thing Bath and Bodyworks has put out in a while. I have both the perfume and the body spray version of this scent, and it smells so dessertlike and realistic. Perfect for layering with lactonic scents.

My best friend & I loved this fragrance so much that I ended up giving my bottle to her after she finished hers and was sad it was discontinued. It is sort of almond-y though as opposed to pistaschio.

Totally gourmand, delicious. If you're craving sweet pistachio, this is a great choice. I have the lotion and the small perfume but I'm totally going to get the body mist too. They all smell the same.

my new favorite b&bw scent. makes me smell like a yummy sugar cookie. i *always* recommend the lotions/body creams over the sprays when it comes to b&bw. they do the scents so much more justice

Very much reminds me of this pistachio coffee syrup I used to have. Makes me really want a pistachio latte. That is to say it's very nice. Certainly not as strong as I usually go, however.

one of the best newer b&bw scents. it's great for year round wear, but it stands out in the summer imo. not too sugary either. and it makes me crave pistachio ice cream lol

this smells so good!! smells like sugared pistachio and cookies!! with a good amount of sprays, it will last you the whole day. perfect for all seasons!! :)

I adore this scent. My favorite part is that I don't get that weird soapy note that is in other pistachios.

starts off as a very syrupy cherry then settles into the most perfect creamy and sugary pistachio scent !

I have 2 favorite pistachio mists. One is this one and the other one is VS Pistachio Creme.

So I officially don't like patchouli! This was a blind buy but thankfully the patchouli isn't a prominent note so it isn't ruined for me. This is sweet and woody with a nice nuttiness that almost leans towards that almond/cherry-esque smell. I really like it for that. This is actually one of the more interesting fragrances I have. Edit: This seems to be giving me a headache though :( probably the patchouli, doesn't seem to agree with me

Smells very very similar to Yum Pistachio Gelato to me. I can't speak on 62 since I haven't smelled that, but I do love testing Yum Pistachio Gelato. Smells very similar, but I will say it's not as yummy/gourmand as Kayali's. Similar, but not an exact dupe. Regardless, I really like it. It's also very good year round, but it's on the sweeter and lighter side as a heads up.

It has a very true creamy pistachio scent. Not unlike pistachio ice cream. It's a cozy scent is perfect for the fall or spring time. I would recommend if you want the scent to be more intense apply the body cream of the same scent beforehand. I also found that it is a good layering mist, as well. Particularly with creamy vanilla scents.

I saw someone mention that they’re surprised there is no almond notes because it smells so much like marzipan and I can’t agree more! Smells like a sugary pistachio marzipan pastry to me (I’m a big fan of marzipan so a great surprise when first smelling).

These are only for bedtime for me as they don’t last but they’re great for bedtime as especially when it’s the sale! This is very nice! Where as yum pistachio has that yummy cold vibe, this I a more warm pistachio. Nice

agree with all the marzipan comments!! definitely get pistachio but on the dry down, it's a lot weaker. love layering with this scent 3/5

I smell christmas cookies I like it

I thought I was crazy when I smelled a strong whiff of almond milk/ marzipan candy in it. There is a famous almond drink called “Lulu” here in China. This smells like a perfume version of “Lulu”. It’s interesting but not my favourite. And it’s not sweet or vanilla-y either.

Notes: pistachio creme, toasted vanilla, sugared patchouli. In one sentence "nuts coated in powder" On the first spray you get a warm sweet nutty pistachio note. There is nothing creamy about it, vanilla doesn't do much, not much of earthy patchouli is detected in my nose. It is obnoxiously toasty, sweet, screechy like the toasted nuts are coated in powder. For some reason pistachios always smell powdery to me. I think i can confidently say pistachios aren't for me. I like my gourmands delectable & girly, this is just nutty & not much is going on. I kind of like the initial smell because it's sweet & toasty but then it feels weakly sweet & weird on my skin. As time goes by it turns extremely musky. I hate the dry down 🤢 There is nothing complex about it. It's nothing appealing. Longevity seems weak too. Like it's an absolute let down! BNB Vacation vibes was much better than this but unfortunately that also had poor longevity :(

Pistachio, unfortunately, always smells like soda to me. This is no exception, and I knew before this even came to stores that it wouldn't be for me. But if you're looking for a SWEET and gourmand pistachio, I'd give this one a try. Much "yummier" than the Kayali perfume, coming from someone who doesn't like either of them lol.

hm... kind of plastic-y super sweet pistachio scent with vanilla undertones. I do not like it at all honestly. It also smells a bit like marzipan? I don't know If that makes sense but If you are a pistachio lover I would suggest the newer toasted pistachio scent from BBW

I had such high hopes for this one considering my love for pistachio scents... It smells kinda similar to the EOS pistachio crème at first (one of my favs), except this one is way worse imo, wayyy more synthetic in an almost headache-inducing way. I get a screechy, strong almond extract smell, and it has a soapy undertone. Drydown somehow gets even worse. This is soo baddd 😭 I wouldn't recommend this as a safe blind buy for gourmand girlies! I like nutty/almond smells usually, but this is too much. The nutty note smells like a permanent marker

I used to love its scent, but the more I wear it, the more nauseating and overpowering it becomes. After a minute or two, it makes me feel really sick, like it's sticky and too concentrated. Since then, I don't even dare smell it anymore. Yuck. On the other hand, if I vaguely caught a whiff of it in someone else's scent, I think I might actually like it.

This smells like a bitter cherry syrup. Nothing sweet or creamy or pistachioy about it! It's pungent & bitter....... Not done well. Kayali Yum Gelato pistachio & Victoria Secret pistachio creme are faaaaaaar way better & have actual sweet pistachio notes in them

Yay B&BW semi-annual sale so everything is like a third or quarter of the usual price. Had to cop. I am genuinely shocked that almond is not one of the notes This thang smells like marzipan. Pistachio marzipan. Major compliment omg It's really yumsy... It even smells like an almond pastry, holy crap! And the patchouli (or something) gives it kind of a minty-freshness, cleanness... It's a clean almond and pistachio scent, genuinely so so nice. As someone who likes to smell like shampoo and gourmands (respectively), and who especially loves the smell of almond and pistachios and sweet treats in general, this was so delightful. This could become my daily frag/signature scent, honestly, it's everything I've ever needed in a fragrance!, Plus good price point and pretty good avaliability (avaliable at semiannuals)... But nooo, it has the lasting power of a sneeze And I'm not even joking. Pardon my vulgarity: It's orgasmic but lasts about as long as one. The only smell left is the patchouli (really faint and then fades!), leaving behind a somewhat dirty-smelling trace. Doesn't lean fully litterbox on me but I see why some people say cat piss. So yeah. I'm devastated. So anyways I can't fairly rate this perfume because it does seem to just be an issue specific to my bodychem; I don't think anyone else has had longevity problems as bad as me, Hell, This is beastmode on loads of people. So I’m just unlucky. The smell is perfect to me but the performance is abysmal. That's all. I ADORE the body cream though, my absolute fav it's so scrumptious so so good omg. B&BW pleeeeaseeee put it on shelves year-round pleaseeee
