Poppy

I love this, but it's hard for me to pin down exactly what it smells like. It's definitely a fresh peary floral, but something about it also reminds me of the first few weeks of the school year in elementary school circa mid-2000s. Specifically being dropped off in the mornings: the late summer air just beginning to warm up, my mom listening to her radio shows, brand new light-up shoes, distant cut grass smells, my hair still damp from detangling spray, the newness of all of it. It's very fitting that they launched it around this time last year as a kind of transitional summer-into-fall scent. It's really great for when you're sick of it being hot all the time and want to wear something that will make you feel a bit cooler. ETA: I tried Perfect at the store earlier today and I think they're about 80-90% identical. Perfect is a little bit more aquatic and Poppy has a more prominent pear note. They last about the same amount of time.

B&BW PLEASE BRING POPPY BACK!!! And, can anyone tell me where you can find this for $4 like that one review says?!!! Online is ridiculously overpriced... Poppy was my daily scent years ago when it came out, specially during spring/summer. What a lovely fruity floral fresh delicate feminine scent - it is mouth watering. It also performed amazing for a B&BW body mist, I remember I’d put it on at the beginning of my shift and by the end I could still smell it on my clothes... People complimented me quite a lot when I wore it! I just wish they’d bring it back...

I LOVE Poppy! This was a blind buy for me at Bath and Body Works, but it is so simple, fresh, yet sophisticated at the same time. I love this for a nice brunch or even dinner out with friends/on a date. This is a scent that you just can't go wrong with. I personally love fruity and floral scents, but the rhubarb brings this scent to another level. I love that you can smell the rhubarb note so clearly, and it adds complexity to the scent. I hope to get this in the perfume as well, although the longevity is fantastic on this for a fragrance mist.

Purchased during 2026 Summer SAS as part of their bringback collection :) I’ve heard it raved about for a long time on YouTube and was so excited to try it and... Omgggg this smells soooo devine!! It is my FAVOURITE from SAS this year!!! It’s a very juicy fruity - slightly floral, mostly getting rhubarb and juicy pear with a touch powdery floral. It’s strong projecting and longevity for a body mist - way more so than the other bringback FFM this SAS. I’ll be getting a backup set for sure!!

This is a lovely fresh and bright floral. Inoffensive, uplifting and crowd pleasing. I got it on clearance for like $4 and at first, I thought it was nice but generic. However, the more I use it, the more I appreciate it. It's such a joyful smell. It doesn't try too hard, is effortlessly feminine and optimistic. It was made for mornings in late spring and early summer, when lawnmowers start early, with warm and humid air, dewy grass underfoot, and the day ahead is full of possibility.

I love to "pear" this with God is a Woman by Ariana Grande. This is my spring/summer scent for sure. I actually bought this specifically for the Poppy note, turns out I love a good Pear note, and the Dew and Rhubarb are so well-rounded for this. I prefer this to other florals B&BW has made, including JCB. Right now this is online exclusive. Please bring this back into every store, and don't ever get rid of it.

For anyone else who misses this scent, I made an odd discovery today: L'oreal Elvive Dream Lengths shampoo and conditioner smell very similar to it. I sniffed them side-by-side with the tiny bit of lotion I have left and the lotion smells a tad more aquatic but the fragrances have the same basic structure. I was wondering all day why these hair products I'd never used before smelled so familiar and now I know!

I got a bunch of winter mist from bbw. This one is my favorite because it has a clean smell for anytime of the day. I was waiting for a new everyday smell and this is it. Mostly i wear it after shower and to sleep. It is calming and non offensive. It smells same throughout. Rhubarb, green and juicy pear! My new signature this winter.

I absolutely love Poppy! For a girl that doesn’t like strong florals I have always gone for fruity or gourmand fragrances. Poppy has fruity notes but it also has a soft, non offensive floral. I can’t imagine someone hating it and it is signature scent worthy. I am going to try Perfect by Marc Jacobs as I’ve heard it is similar.

Seconding that this is similar to Perfect by Marc Jacobs, and that's pretty accurate. This will be an amazing easy-to-wear spring and summer scent, as it's fresh and fruity, but not in an obnoxious way. I only wish it lasted a bit longer on me, as I feel like it dies down quickly, but it's one I'm happy to re-apply.

i wore this a lot when i was a freshman in uni!! i repurchased it like 3-4 times, its a really lovely scent and i really wish they brought this back :( it would only last 2-3 hours on me but paired with the lotion, i'd say it lasted around 6 hours!!

I absolutely love Poppy, it smells sweet but not too overwhelming and there's watery fresh fruity-floral smell to it. I absolutely love it. I think it's perfect for day wear. Poppy is now officially my signature perfume.

This perfume smells sweet and nice. It's not too overpowering to the point of making my head ache. It lingers softly and lasts long on me. Perfect for every day wear.

This layers beautifully with Eilish No. 2!!! A sweet floral scent with spicy notes. It’s smells very “aquatic” to me. Definitely like a wet flower.

Two words: Signature scent! Update: The lotion is great still, but I wasn't able to use the FFM, instant migraine! why is that Bath and Body Works?

The vibe is similar to firecracker pop just its floral. The accords are almost similar to Firecracker pop.

I recently visited the shop in Greece one month after its official opening. I had read a lot about BABW here in Fragrantica and I was very anticipated to test the specific products. I was quite impressed by the vast variety of products they carried. At the beginning I was searching for fragrances but they were not any left because currently in Grecce we have sales so all the fragrances were gone. My only choice was to opt for a body mist so I started testing the bottles. I tried a couple of them on me and in the air (too tricky and risky) but I could not do differently because the shop did not carry any blotters to test them in this way and I decided to buy the Poppy. It was quite fresh and floral at the same time, so it was a winning and safe combination for me. I tried it yesterday morning before I go to my work and for a very long time I could smell it.... it definitely lingers on the clothes for a longer time.... Still, I was really impressed, for a body mist, I did not expect such a longevity and quality... Overall, I really like it, it is fresh and it perks me up.... Finally, I would would like to add that, among its benefits for me is that, it is a mist, with a beautiful, light, floral smell that I can use/enjoy for all the 12 months of a year and does not fetter me at all. I will definitely be back.... Overall, BABW, made me, change my mind about body mists (in a positive way) because before this brand, I did not care for body mists at all, but now, I am looking forward for my next visit to the shop....

I first got the body lotion before and then snatched this today at the BBW $4.95 fragrance mist sale. It just happens I am in a mood to buy something to wear to gym so this is just perfect. I don't care about longevity coz I just want to go into the gym smelling fresh, and I come back out sweaty anyways. This is a fresh rhubarb clean floral scent and it's perfect for summer. And thank you Ede97005 for the tip! I was having 6 mists in my BBW cart at one point but I just somehow ended up with only rose and poppy when I leave the store. I saw your review after I came back from shopping and I just tried the layering. Yes! The rhubarb from poppy and the clean fresh floral from rose! It does have the DNA of Delina! I am not a big fan of Delina coz I think it's a bit overpriced for a fruity floral fragrance, but to me this fresh floral scent combo that cost me so much less is just perfect for the gym.

fragrance notes: fresh morning dew, wild poppies, sugared rhubarb and juicy pear. This scent is what I’d imagine the word “pretty” to smell like. Smells like a big juicy pear, but floral. Fresh and clean smelling, that fresh morning dew almost makes it a bit aquatic but perfumey. Perfect for every occasion. If you are familiar with sweet pea, this smells like sweet pea.. but lighter. So far that reason, I must say while this smells amazing. It is not very unique. For example, fairytale is a very unique fragrance. personal score: 8/10 🍐🌷

This is the tart version of Mark Jacobs Poppy. It’s nice and juicy, especially for a hot summers day I’m talking tropical sun. I prefer the body mist to the actual edp perfume. I find that even more tart and probably further away from Mark Jacobs poppy. However, they are all really good for high heat with climate or weather. And none of them last that long they all require re-application.

I never really knew what rhubarb smelled like, until now! I'm in the middle with this one. My first thought was if "pretty" had smell, this is it. But......i can't put my finger on it, but it's just not for me. It might be the rhubarb. I don't know! Lol! I WANT to like it, and kinnnnnda do, but I'm just now "wow'd" by it I guess. If you do like rhubarb scents, this is definitely for you!

Bought at June 2026 SAS as a bring back scent. This is a fun, spring and summer floral. Bright in the opening with poppy, with just a hint of tartness from the rhubarb, and a crispness from the pear. It starts off strong, but soon stays pretty close to the skin, but that is my only complaint. It lasts pretty long (6-8 hours), but it just doesn't project very far.

Very airy & fresh fruity floral. Perfect for after the shower from exercising or a warm spring/summer day. Honestly the tart rhubarb and watery pear note makes this perfect. Note: this, layered with Rose from BBW, will give a light impression of Delina! It also layers VERY well with Delina if you use Poppy lotion, THEN a light spritz of Delina perfume.

This would have been a 5 if not for the very strong pear scent on 1st spray. Or was that the rhubarb? Dry down is when it becomes pretty which is about after 20mins. So when that strong 1st note hits my nose & throat itches.

A fresh and pleasant scent that makes me imagine a bright and warm spring day lounging in a field of dew covered poppies.

This really does smell like Perfect by Marc Jacobs. Particularly the airy warm fruity notes.

Hmm. 🤔 I remember smelling this and thinking, “Oh this smells like a simple, basic Aeropostale body spray. I like it.” However, it has this annoying watery... cucumber (?) note that is shown in Gingham Love and Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I wish it didn’t have that... note. Maybe its the dew drops note. I don’t like it. :(

Kinda spicy and strongly floral. I’m a gourmand lover so this isn’t something I’d wear often. It gives me night out vibes, wouldn’t wear this as a everyday scent

I have it in lotion form because I felt like B&BW mists are hard to control the quantity of when you’re applying, resulting in a discomforting amount of fragrance that’s not particularly nice. Im a 16 year old girl, so before school I’ve been applying a bit of this on my neck and wrists. The resulting smell is a lighter version of the original (since B&BW’s mists are obnoxiously concentrated). I personally like it and think it’s great for someone like me because it’s inoffensive and isn’t strong enough to bother people around me. But it also lasts long enough & is strong enough for me to catch throughout the school day when I flip my hair or raise my hand. Good for casual use and overall a pretty & cute scent when used in small quantities. Good for people like me who only like using high quality fragrance on special occasions.

After hearing that Poppy would be returning for SAS 2026, I picked up a decant to try it out. I was expecting a fresh floral similar to Imperfect Beauty, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet that expectation. The opening comes off quite tart before softening slightly in the dry down. To my nose, it smells like a blend of Gingham Gorgeous, Butterfly, and Confetti Daydream. Nothing too unique, and in a way, I’m glad, because it means I won’t be reaching for a full-size bottle.

Truly a refreshing floral fragrance and arguably one of the best recent releases from Bath and Body Works. This smells almost identical to Perfect by Marc Jacobs which I used to own. I love how perfectly blended the rhubarb is, sometimes rhubarb can be a bit sickly when too prominent. I hope Bath and Body brings this one back. Poppy lasts long on clothes and skin.

this is so good. bought a nearly full bottle from a classmate at uni for $5. So dewy and airy and peary... i adore it. Great spring fragrance. smells like sweet pea & violet body wash i used in my youth

This is very similar to Perfect by Marc Jacobs and I could see the lotion layering with that perfume very well. That being said, it’s not for me personally.

Clean fruity spring smell. I smell apple in this even though not listed. I like to pair this with Kayali vanilla 28

I like this scent. It is medium long lasting for a body spray. It smells clean fresh and floral. Good for any age.

This is a really good dupe for PERFECT By Marc Jacobs. I love it ! Very fresh for the Summer
