Princess Ariel

I'm into clean, aquatic scents, and this one's right up my alley. It was love at first sniff. This reminds me of my baby Saltwater Breeze, but of course, only about 90 percent. Soapy clean and fresh, which may be a hit or miss for anyone. Though that's good enough until they decide to bring SWB back. It's quite faint like any other aquatic fragrance, but I guess I just like the fleeting clean scent it leaves. It's also best worn during hot days. The packaging is okay. It's not quite as fancy, but alright. It doesn't project much. More like an intimate scent that sits close to your skin. I spritz this every hour or so, and that's just understandable, given that it's a body spray and it has a lower price point than EDTs. So fresh, clean, and strong, especially when wearing the cream and spray together! I love the citrus in this one. It sweetens the salty, oceanic notes as it settles in such a subtle yet reviving way. If there are undisclosed floral notes, my nose can't really detect them. This is a cool, refreshing, and sweet aquatic. It's perfect for hotter days or whenever you want to feel refreshed. It's my favorite aquatic I've tried so far. EDIT: So now I'm starting to notice a floral aspect in this. It's only slight though. It's blended well with the citrus and coral water notes It also gives off Frutiger Aero in a bottle 🌊🏞️☀️

My favorite beach scent of all time! Smells almost exactly like the beach, and the fruity notes don't overwhelm the actual ocean part of the scent like some others do. The top notes shine like they're supposed to. It pairs well with a little bit of the Waikiki Beach Coconut spray too!!

I got this for my best friend and it smells like heaven on her. It’s clean, fresh, a little citrus, and definitely smells like what you would picture a mermaid wearing.

Almost like salt water breaaze but for aome reason most of the princess line I'm smelling a hint of spoiled milk on dry down. Yuck.

I really like Princess Ariel (my namesake btw) as I've been interested in aquatic scents lately. It's not too salty or oceanic. Just a fresh, airy sea breeze. My one critique is that it is the faintest of the line.

I like this one. It's my favorite of the Disney Princess line. Notes: those notes that say "sea salt breeze" and "coral waters": that's calone, or I'll eat a cucumber melon.

Bitter citrusy aquatic scent that leans quite masculine to me. This smells NOTHING like Eclat d’Arpege, how dare you besmirch her good name

Got as a gift. Hate it and really the whole princess line which is so sad. This smells like soap mixed with old lady mixed with an aftertaste of an old orange. I had to wash it off and I could still smell it ☹️

I really enjoy this one for perfectly capturing, to me, what was my 2000s girlhood in a scent. I definitely leaned more to "blue" than to "pink" if you catch my drift. I see my favorite mermaid Barbie and every single dolphin/aquarium motif decor I ever encountered, with the full spectrum of cerulean blues. Let's also throw in the weird squeezy tube toy with plastic fishes in blue gel. Unnaturally natural profile. Just an essence of it, the artificially painted picture of watery clean in the summertime - think the blue, purple, green Dial body washes. Not like flowers, not like fruit despite the citrus, yet not shampoo-sweet like its 2000s analog Ralph. So how does it make me think, clean? I'll go learn more about calone now.

Feeling rough 😣 Severe migraine + sinus congestion have been my unwelcome companions for the past few days. Most smells feel unbearable right now, except for Ariel by Bath & Body Works. Somehow, this mist cuts through the misery. Bath & Body Works says it evokes "exploring uncharted waters & embracing the unknown" – and right now, that unknown is 'Peace'! 🌊✨ The blend of refreshing sea salt breeze, golden citrus, and coral waters is the only fragrance I can tolerate right now. It genuinely calms my mind, helps me relax, and is crucial for getting some much-needed sleep. When everything else feels overwhelming, this little bit of ocean magic is my comfort. 💙

Perfect for hot days. Recent comparisons are right on target. Its def a sweeter Saltwater Breeze (which has a more unisex sort of linen/ dry violet to it). The citrus is sparkly and a little bit sugary. It also leans towards Light Blue with the citrus. Love it!

Probably my favorite of the Disney Princess B&BW collection. It's citrusy, fresh, and beachy. Not very unique, but pleasant and easy to wear in the Summer, and it pairs well with a ton of other Summer perfumes.

The opening is perfect soap bubble-y water, it makes me think of the bath Ariel takes in Eric's castle, then it dries down to those floral scented menstrual pads. :(

Smells like a take on Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. Not sure why it’s getting so much hate; it’s not as bad as the reviews are setting it to be.
