Pumpkin Cupcake

I’m in love with this scent! It’s creamy it’s warm it’s cozy it’s full of vanilla and butter just like everything you need in a gourmand fragrance! I don’t quite get any of that pumpkin and cinnamon notes at all (pumpkin is scientifically proved to be seductive to men! Hello?) but i think it’d attract men in it’s own edible kinda way you khow! Absolutely gorgeous! I have backup of this one for like 3 full-size bottles! If you ever find it + your a gourmands lover! Get it

I find a lot of Bath and Body Works' gourmand fragrances pleasant but just so-so for me. Nice to wear (maybe at home for a nice cozy haze) but don't need to revisit. Pumpkin Cupcake smelled better to me than others, a little more than a generic sweet scent. It's not as pumpkin-forward as I'd hoped (Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, hello!) but it's a yummy vanilla with a dash of pumpkin and spice that makes me sniff my arms and my shirt every now and then.

🍩 🍁🍺 🎃 🧁 This smells like a delicious coffee crumb cake. Literally the last time I wore this, it lead me to go & eat an individually wrapped crumb cake from my pantry. It’s cinnamony, sweet, not pumpkiny at all so don’t worry about that. It’s more of a dry cake scent too rather than that cake batter note. I really hope this scent comes back, it’s everything I could ever want in a gourmand scent. So comforting and delicious.

Love this one. They only had the body spray when I shopped but I'm hoping to get the lotion and shower gel to complete the set, it's so good. It's not a perfume, going out kind of scent but I love it for just around the house or running errands. It's all confection, totally gourmand. Sweet vanilla, a little spice. Nice for cooler weather where you just want that comfort scent around you.

Pumpkin Cupcake is the perfect blend of autumn gourmand. It's sweet with just the right amount of spice and doesn't come anywhere close to that overpowering craft store fall candle scent. So many of the fall scents start to smell the same to me. I mean how many iterations of pumpkin and spice can we get excited about? This one's a great balance and definitely wearable.

Smells just like vanilla cupcakes with a pinch of cinnamon and pumpkin. It’s a great scent but if you’re looking for more pumpkin this is not it for you. This is actually what I wanted scents like Confetti Cake Pop to smell like, that smells like coconut playdoh.

pretty scent! smells just like those little debbie snack honey buns. wish it was tad bit stronger and longer lasting but it is a body mist so can't expect too much. overall smells really good :)

NO, too sugary, will make you smell like a bakery in a not very boardroom appropriate kind of way. Pros: Cozy, sweet, fun, festive. Smells like a fall bakery and fun spices. Cons: Synthetic, cloying to some, and a bit odd to some noses. Pumpkin Cupcake is exactly that. It differs from Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin by expanding the notes to include a cakey vanilla accord, and a nutty/fruity top note vibe from the pecan and apple. It's more complex, and a proper gourmand. I have the 2021 version of Pumpkin Cupcake and honestly it had to grow on me. It's one of those Play-Doh vanillas. I let it sit for a while though (I got it in August maybe) and then it got super sweet and warm by November. It is, unfortunately, weak, even for a body spray I think. I don't know if the 2022 version is different to me personally, but I heard it's the same. Hardly any pumpkin, mostly vanilla cupcake. It is, however, different from Confetti Cake Pop, which is more of an uncooked cake batter scent (that I really enjoy too!). I wish PC had a warm, spicy pumpkin note that I could detect, but it doesn't. It is a good Fall/Winter gourmand scent though if you want to try for yourself! If you want pumpkin, I prefer B&BW's Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, which is a sweet, synthetic, bubblegummy, slightly spicy pumpkin type scent. I personally dislike Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte, but if you want a true gourmand pumpkin then go on and try it and see if you like it.

I've been buying the foam soap for years so I decided to give the mist a try. Absolutely hated it. Didn't make any sense since I love the hand-soap, and then I realized B&BW have different notes for the hand-soap and for the body care. Sorry but if they made the body care to smell like the hand-soap it would be one of the best fall scents ever made by them. Hate the current body care scent specially the mist, it's disgusting actually

Pumpkin Cupcake (2022 version) has a strong synthetic composition, cloying and sweet and not in a cute way. I don't like their other cake scents that share this accord, including Strawberry Pound Cake and Vanilla Confetti Sparkle/Vanilla Cake Pop. B&BW does better when there is a woody or fruity element in their sweet scents. Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte, I can enjoy because it has some sandalwood for depth...this just has that sort of artificial sweetness that doesn't agree with my nose.

This to me smells perfumey and expensive in a way, not so much gourmand. It reminds me of Almond Blossom by BBW for some odd reason as well. This has moderate lasting power, as I think the pumpkin spice is the reason for that. This also doesn't smell like a cupcake to me at all, its mostly a pumpkin-vanilla scent with some sort of nutty, play doh essence. I don't love this, but I don't dislike it either. I wish it was more gourmand.

RedBerryKitty's review was spot on for breaking down the scent notes - but the 2022 version smells like it has more alcohol than actual fragrance (seems to be a trend with a number of the BBW mists this year). If you're interested in this one, you can find any of the older versions of it on resale platforms. The formulas from previous years pack more of a punch with longevity and sillage, and also smell like they have less alcohol!

A pumpkin puree (the pumpkin was roasted before for caramelization), that is mixed with double cream, a pinch of cinnamon and vanilla (you can see all of the little dots of the vanilla in the puree). Very intimate, but immensily delicious! Love it!

This has more vanilla than Pumpkin; works for me!
