Pumpkin Pecan Waffles

I have been WAITING for them to bring this back and they finally did! As a gourmand lover (like extreme) I felt like I needed this in my collection, due to the raves of positive reviews. I was right. This is AMAZING. It is so strong, long lasting (for BBW) and pairs with so much. I actually haven't fully worn this "drenched" out and about, but when I wore it on my clothes it was SO GOOD. To me, this smells like a doughy, cinnamon, pumpkin spice scent. It's almost like a cinnamon roll but without the white sugar cream, and with pumpkin, and a slight syrup note. Most people say this is a heavy syrup scent, but I don't get that yet. Also the DRY DOWN OMG. It smells like a cinnamon cake. I am so excited for the fall weather to come so that I can fully layer and DRENCH myself in this. I haven't even had this scent for a week and I already have backups. This is also extremely close to dethroning Coconut Cream Pie's spot in my favorite BBW scent of all time, which says a lot. This is NOT a safe blind buy though at all; pretty much only for the EXTREME of the EXTREME gourmand stans. I've said enough. EDIT: OMG pair this with Santa's Blueberry Shortbread, it smells like blueberry waffles and syrup! Also the body cream of PPW is straight up maple syrup. So good. EDIT 2: I am a bit traumatized by this scent because I did my normal drenching routine for school (couldn't smell it since I go nose blind FAST), and my friend told me she could smell me ALL THE WAY ACROSS CLASS. She said it smelled like a strong candle from THAT FAR, and then I realized the people I was sitting with were all COUGHING and moving AWAY FROM ME. So I sprayed way too much and was most likely making people sick with this. Literally SO EMBARASSING I can't. Pls be careful with this..

PPW is fun. It's as gourmond as it gets. It makes a nice gift. The packaging is always darling. It's a true crowd pleaser (I don't know anyone who hasn't but enjoyed it). I love it in candle form and have burned this in my home. It's deliciously cozy. However, I don't care much for it as a personal fragrance. I'm glad it lists maple syrup as a note, because that's precisely what I get out of this, predominantly. The issue is...it doesn't really read as fresh, true *maple* syrup to me, but rather flavored Mrs. Butterworth (or whathaveyou), corn syrup "maple syrup". The gourmond/biscuit note is a little too plasticky as well, and although I like this on others as they pass by me, enjoy it in the air as a candle, and would pick this out as a gift idea, I tire of it on me after 20 minutes or so. B&BW tends to veer into sweet territory by default, even with their non-gourmonds. So, when they create true gourmond themes deliberately they have the proclivity of going too cloying for my tastes. There's nothing in here to cut the sweetness or heavy nature of this, and it's too one-dimensional and hyper-sweet for me personally. Maybe if the spices where a little drier, and stronger overall this might feel more balanced, but it's too simple and thickly sweet. That being said, projection and longevity are notably good when considering that this is a fragrance mist. It's quite autumnal 🍁

I'm not really into B&BW, but I stumbled upon the store when they were having their semi-annual sale and decided to take a peek. Pumpkin Pecan Waffle was the first thing I picked up and sampled and when I say I was transported...wow. This is easily one of the best gourmand scents I've ever smelled. This is EXTREMELY sweet. I'm not usually a maple syrup fan, but it's blended so well within this, I think because it has a buttery tone. I haven't tried the body mist since the only thing the store had was the body cream and mousse, but both of those have pretty impressive longevity, and the sillage is pretty decent. I rubbed half a pea-sized amount on my forearms and could smell it for hours later. I unfortunately got overwhelmed when I saw how long the check out line was and immediately abandoned my shopping cart so this didn't even come home with me, but I'll be going back to the store first thing tomorrow to try to get my hands on it when there's less crowd to deal with. I'm really looking forward to pairing this with a spicy / woody scent because I can see it working extremely well. May try MFK Grand Soir, and someone else mentioned layering it with MM By the Fireplace and I can totally see that. Definitely get this if you can, even if it's just the small travel size. Not a daily scent imo, but perfect for those days you want to smell like a snack.

pumpkins. pecans. maple syrup. brown sugar. walnuts, acorns. pumpkin pecan waffles is everything you'd smell in a small, quaint bakery in the middle of october. it is a true gourmand scent and literally smells edible. i'm also getting slight notes of butter, butterscotch, and cinnamon. it is insanely sweet. it smells like you spilled maple syrup all over yourself, so if you're into that sort of thing like i am, then definitely purchase this. i bought this fragrance mist in the fall of 2022. i normally buy bbw fragrances for layering, but this fragrance is great on its own. it's not a high-end or complex fragrance mist by any means, but it is a simply sweet, delicious gourmand scent. this fragrance is absolutely beautiful for those fall months, and even into the winter months as well. this layers beautifully with maison margiela's by the fireplace. when i layered this with by the fireplace, it transformed by the fireplace into an entirely different and more complex fragrance. i was blown away by how great this fragrance is for layering. on its own, it's fairly simple - and that's not a bad thing - but together with another fall/winter staple perfume, it is heavenly. i absolutely adore this fragrance mist ♡💌

It is an extremely potent gourmand scent. Not blind buy safe, not even blind buy safe for those who like gourmand fragrance either. You need to smell it before buying the whole fragrance altogether. It has an overdose of pumpkin spices ( headache inducing cinnamon, nutmeg, clove) & roasted pecans at the first spritz. The initial spray can be overwhelming to many people due to the pumpkin spicies. But the maple syrup note in the dry down is worth holding onto this fragrance. It's very delicious, creamy, warm and gooey. I don't get any waffle notes particularly in this, just a power pack punch of spices, walnuts followed by maple syrup, brown sugar and almost like a whipped cream on top of a dessert. As time goes on the dry down becomes syrupy and creamier. Supremely long lasting on skin and clothes with just a couple of sprays. I don't recommend over spraying it , people around you might get taken aback cause it's very heavy. Spray this at least half hour before going out and let the spicies settle down onto your skin. This is a unique gourmand fragrance to my nose, extremely heavy but with pure food like sweetness. It will be a winter staple for me ❤

This is the greatest thing I have ever smelled. Well, at least one of the greatest things. I, personally, love to walk around smelling like an edible scented candle or something you can go and eat at a bake shop. This is strictly gourmand maple syrup, and buttery pecan waffles but with a beautiful touch of cinnamon. If you don't like smelling completely edible, this isn't the girl for you. I was in the doctor's office waiting room, and someone walked out and said "Oh my god what is that? It's making me hungry" lol. I didn't say anything because I'm shy 😹. I bought 2 bottles because I'm completely OBSESSED. I have a million butterscotch and maple cream wax melts, and these smell pretty close to those. If you have a boyfriend, he is going to want to eat you like a snack 😹😹😹.

This is a true, true gourmand. Sweet and savory though mostly sweet. I get very little pumpkin or spice, but a lot of maple syrup, waffle and pecans! It ́s probably something I ́d stick to wearing at home when I need to feel warm and cozy. I love this so so much and my husband is a fan too! Its his favorite candle. This is also a very neutral scent that doesn ́t lean feminine, masculine or even unisex. It just smells like dessert. Its probably not recommended to go heavy on this since some people have sensitivities, but the bonus is it ́s pretty strong and long lasting for a body spray. I love it.

One of my absolute favorite B&BW scents, it is a delicious, cinnamon, rich pumpkin bread. It reminds me of whoever my mom makes banana bread, and the richness can be smelled throughout the house! (without the banana of course). This is one of the scents that I have always received compliments on, regardless of when or where. Pretty long lasting, I could smell it on me at the end of the school day. Personally, I'm not a fan of vanilla B&BW scents, as I find them uncomfortably sweet. This is absolutely not the case for PPW. I wish they would bring this back every year!

Strolling the mall I suddenly got a whiff of the most hypnotic fragrance, and my nose led me straight to Bath & Body Works. I asked what it was and was told "Pumpkin Pecan Waffles; we brought it back for fall.” Immediately bought the room spray, body lotion, and fragrance mist (launched 2021). Love to mist it on my cotton nightgown before bedtime, where it lingers until morning. I love this scent! I wasn't always a PPW girl but this year it really hit. It smells amazing, beautifully nutty, pumpkin, and syrupy. Great for fall. The only downside is that it's really only acceptable to wear it in the fall, but I still love it. I'll spray it on my jacket and scarf on a fall day, and it's also perfect to wear for Thanksgiving or any fall event. I also layer it with The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods and it smells amazing.

I don't like nearly any of BBW's fragrances, and I'm not usually someone who gravitates towards super sweet gourmands, especially not maple, but somehow I love this. To me, this smells exactly like biscoff cookies, or cookie butter. A toasty, nutty, sweet biscuity smell. Not usually my thing, but I love it. A lot of people say this is strictly an autumn smell, but I would wear this all winter, well into February.

This is EXTREMELY sweet. EXTREMELY. I have Phlur Caramel Skin and SDJ 71 and both are sweet yes but this is like 2x stronger. I love it personally, but I can 100000000% see how this would be too sweet for someone else. As it dries it turns more tolerable. It smells very pumkiny cinnamony spicy very warm and sweet. This shines in the autumn, but can be worn in winter too.

SO amazing and yummy!! this is one of the longest lasting b&bw perfumes i own, i get compliments on it quite often! it's a very very sweet fragrance, and does smell exactly like a pumpkin muffin or gingerbread :-) definitely has a caramel note too, which is wonderful because the whole perfume just blends perfectly together.

The only fragrance I've ever found that actually smells exactly like pecan. My best friend hates it, but unfortunately for her, I live for the super sweet, cloying gourmand perfumes. If you want to smell exactly like a bakery in the middle of October, this is perfect.

Super different scent, in the opening you can smell the pumpkin with a lot of candy, unfortunately this pumpkin smell only last a couple of minuts, it dry down as a sweet candy. I don't think it's woody, is super sweet. Is a great smell for the autumn

I can never get enough of this. Girls will agree. My bf doesn't love buttery scents but he said it's ok. Update: after wearing it in cold weather while at home, he is obsessed and everyone I work with agrees!

I just combined the lotion and and the body spray.. and now I smelled like a delicious, creamy, syrupy dessert!!!! I am loving it! my husband smelled from another room and said that he wanted a bite lol..

Yummm this is autumn in a bottle! pumpkin spice,cozy ,warm and it’s really strong. It has that bakery cake like scent quality to it too.Sooo happy with this scent for fall 🥰🍂

ugh, i want to love this so bad, especially since this performs so well for a mist! the longevity and projection are both great, but i legitimately cannot tolerate the opening of this fragrance, which sucks so much because i actually love the drydown! i sprayed this on my jacket sleeve in store, and the only way i can tolerate it is by smelling the minimal residue left on my skin after removing the jacket, which still smells like straight-up pumpkin spice. the drydown on my arm, though, is so good! it reminds me a lot of the eos vanilla cashmere lotion, just perfectly sweet and cozy, warmed up with some spice. that said, even one spray of this feels like too much for me--the pumpkin spice makes me feel like i smell more like a craft store/room spray/candle than a yummy gourmand scent, and it's so strong and cloying, it makes me feel like i'm choking. such a shame because i would love this if the opening didn't choke me out! edit: sprayed VERY lightly, this scent has grown on me a lot :) even with the minimal application, and i mean not even one full spritz, i still find the opening to be very harsh and candle/craft store-ish, but the drydown does make it worth it imo, especially considering how long this scent lasts and how well it projects. but seriously, please do not overspray this mist for the sake of yourself and everyone around you lol

When I first smelled it in the cap, I was not too impressed. Very strong, heavy on the cinnamon and super sweet. But once I smelled it on my clothes - whole different story. The waffle scent got very prominent, you can literally smell a buttery, hot, warm waffle dough with spices. The spices I smell remind me more of an apple compote with cinnamon. Something like this. I think it can become too much easily, but one or two sprays and you'll enter Waffle Heaven. The buttery smell really amazes me. Such a great Gourmand. The reason why I did not rated it as "Love" is simply that I think it can be too much easily and it is probably very seasonal. I do not see myself wearing it in the summer.

I really like this one! Although, I do need to be in the mood for it. It’s very sweet and I wouldn’t recommend for those sensitive or not fond of super sweet, gourmand, and syrupy smells. It’s a thick and heavy pumpkin flavored syrupy smell, in my personal opinion, not a true maple syrup fragrance- I find lushes sticky dates body wash to replicate that smell to a T. I don’t think the waffle note is that pronounced, although I’m sure it’s playing some part in the fragrance. Perfect for fall though. Also it’s so beast mode omg.

I got this year's version. It was pretty intense when I first sprayed it. Sillage was quite large but then relaxed a bit. There is a shortbread note in this year's version that is so delicious. It literally smells like cookie batter or something baking. It reminded me of my Body Fantasies Cupcake Swirl body mist. However that sadly disappeared on my skin after 10 minutes & dried down to a cherry & almond note. It reminds me of Amber Romance by Victoria's Secret.

This perfume has its pros and cons. Here are some of them- PROS- cheap Overveiw- if you really like fall fragrances, this is a safe blind buy for you. non headache inducing The low price point makes it ideal for most people. It could be used as an gourmond air freshener. Overall it is good, nothing special, fair price, 6/10. good silliage CONS- bad longevity inexpensive smell not an original fragrance very seasonal

I loved this when I first got it. It’s the ultimate fall girl fragrance. Very cozy, warm and ridiculously sweet, like drowning in syrupy waffles. The only problem is that everyone always says it smells like coffee and now that’s all I can think about when I wear it. I’ve decided to just keep it as a room spray, because it’s perfect for making a space feel autumny even if I don’t want to smell like it myself.

I really enjoy this scent, it's exactly what Fall smells like to me. It's a sweet, almost caramel waffle to me. I prefer the body cream to the body mist, though. I think White Pumpkin & Chai by Bath & Body Works is a better Fall scent, tbh.

This smells like slightly burnt pumpkin waffles. It's way too warm and sweet for me, but gourmand lovers will probably enjoy this one. It does what it sets out to do, and for the price it's pretty good. Just don't overspray this one.

A very sweet and yummie scent, perfect for fall season! The smell is pretty long lasting and it's also pretty strong, so don't spray on too much or it might smell too intense and could be a bit nauseating, otherwise I love it ^^

Really festive and fun! The name matches the scent perfectly!

The scent itself is nice; its very gourmand pumpkin waffle cone. Not too sweet, enough to enjoy it. Now the downside; the lasting power is practically non existing. I know its body spray and I really do not expect 4 hrs or extra silage but I use body sprays from Lush (for same price) and they perform 10x better. Price; I know that in US you have sales and can purchase these body sprays for 3-8$ but in EU we do not have it (at least I have not encountered them) and I purchased it for 20$. For 20$ this is way too overpriced for a water that last literally 30 min, 1 hr at best.

As a gourmand lover, i’ll be the first to say this scent is entirely too sticky and heavy. I liked it when i was 14 but I am a little older now and can acknowledge that it smells like burnt plastic, covered in cinnamon and syrup. I think if it was more woody and soft i’d like it, but it’s far too sweet for me. I’ll continue to wear it into the fall though, layered with scent I do enjoy. I do need to use up the rest of this though, so that’s my goal for the fall :)

On the initial spray, I get a sharp (spices) and sweet gourmand. Something about it reminds me of something synthetic-y/plastic-y, I just can't pinpoint it as of now. Edit: I've read the comments below and I think that synthetic/plastic smell is associated with a candle wax I've smelt once or few times before.

i wish i loved this because it has such great reviews and i’m a gourmand lover myself but let me tell y’all this just didn’t work for me😞 after trying all of B&BW’s pumpkin-based fragrances this past fall, i’ve realized that i just don’t like pumpkin notes and this mist is HEAVY on not only the pumpkin spice but the pecans too. on my skin the sweetness from the maple syrup only comes through a tiny bit while the pumpkin spice and pecans completely overpower the fragrance. i can really only stand this as a candle or room spray but judging by the reviews i’m in the minority. so, if you’re a gourmand lover who actually likes nutty&pumpkin based fragrances i think you’ll love this.

SO SO SO SWEET :( Gives me a headache and I can't wear it to work, the smell is way too overwhelming. It's very syrup-y and seasonal - I would not wear this any other time besides fall/winter. I prefer B&BW Hot Cocoa & Cream for a more tame sweet scent that I can wear all year long.

I keep trying to like this because it gets rave reviews, but I just don't see how this is wearable. I don't have any problem with sweet, gourmand scents but the maple syrup note is so strong it's sickening and sticky.

Unfortunately for me, this smells like a candle. The scent is good in theory and I do enjoy it, I do not enjoy smelling like literal candle.

I know this is very popular and I keep trying to like it but it smells like dog feet to me.

It's absolutely disgusting, sorry. It SO nauseous! I like it as a candle, but smelling like this yourself is simply awful. I tried it 2 years ago and it was a big no. This year I was like maybe I should give it another try since I'm a very gourmand person and this scent is very gourmand. But no, I simply can't. It's horrible

This scent is just entirely too much to be going on skin! It’s extremely cloying! I used to adore this scent when I was younger but now it’s just too much 🤮 it’s good as a room spray or candle... but on skin is a big NO!

So there’s actually no official pumpkin as a note. Pumpkin spice is a blend of nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and ginger! I don’t really smell any pumpkin :( I have purchased so many variations of fall candles, so when I smelled this I was a bit thrown off because it smells exactly like a candle rather than body care... But.. I must say, as it dries down, it begins to smell like some sort of shortbread or spice cookie. Almost like a gingerbread cookie, or like graham crackers! I don’t really think it smells like waffles, or pecans. I definitely get a very sweet pumpkin spice crunchy cookie. Does anyone else also pick up on chocolate?? This is sooo strong and projects like a maniac Also, layer this with champage apple and honey if you want to smell like a freshly baked apple pie 🥧 projection: 10/10 longevity: 9/10 fragrance: 8/10 true to notes: 6/10 packaging: 7/10 (2023 version)

This is one i keep stockpiled. I randomly just "must spray it" .. especially when I want to feel relaxed and when going to bed at night. Its so cozy, happy & comforting to me. This one is stronger than many other of B&BW'S fragrances. The notes and accords are exactly as listed here on fragrantica.. it smells exactly as listed. ~ I sprayed this on myself, all-round my room & on my bedsheets & pillows. I love being enveloped in it while I relax in bed. ... wearing it as y I your fragrance is best in cool weather, but I use it just for myself at home on & off year round. update: still an amazing scent however it aged... not fantastically. Still smells very nice but there's an overpowering cinnamon scent instead of that syrupy maple. I've had it for about four months. Also the projection on it is not as strong. It used to be one of my favorite cheap fragrances because it gives instant fall vibes and whenever I put it on, I'd get compliments immediately by EVERYONE, even people multiple feet away from me. Now I feel like it disappears so quickly that no one smells it but me (unless we're super close, like hugging). But I'm a B&BW apologist so I definitely will get it again next fall. It smells like the perfect fall candle.

Unfortunately for my mature and sophisticated partner, I love this. I drench myself in it and it's, out of about ten fine fragrance mists that I have from B&BW, this one is my most used. I love this scent so much I bought it in the room spray, the candle, the wallflower, the cream and I would have bought the lotion and the shower gel but they didn't have it. This smells like warm waffles, a touch of nutty pecan, maple syrup and vanilla. (The other FFM that I have from B&BW are White Pumpkin Chai, Beach, Wicked Vanilla Woods, Fairytale, Into the Night, Blueberry Sugar Pancakes, Rose, Sweater Weather, Pinkberry Clouds and Midnight Amber Glow)

It’s pumpkin season so naturally I was on the hunt for a fall gourmand scent. I bought the 2021 body mist and moisturizer cream and have to say it is a devilishly delicious combo. I think the body cream amps up the intensity of REAL salted butter, nut and maple syrup notes making it fang-drooling worthy this Halloween day. Silage and longevity are very good with the two working together. Wearing this and burning my salted pumpkin candle is driving my hubby batty! Shh, don’t tell, I’m getting back ups of the body cream in case they stop making this.

Wow! This is a very realistic gourmand scent, quite literally lives up to its name. If you aren’t a fan of sickly sweet waffles with a syrupy spice do not get it. Although it’s a bit intense for me, I do love having it in my collection. My boyfriend can’t stand how sweet it is 😅 For a bbw body mist the longevity and silage is definitely on the higher side :)

It has a very potent warm, cozy autumn smell. And that can be good and bad at the same time, i personally thought it was ok.. I like how it smells, it resembles a pumpkin pie but in a new and strange way idk how to explain. BUT it doesnt match me at all so i just gave it to my friend (who adores it) not safe for blind buys!!

The maple in this is syrupy sweet and STRONG. I find layering a lighter perfume containing musk over top helps to tame some of the sweetness, while still allowing the spices to shine. Really pretty body mist.
