Rain

I was looking for a very clean and watery scent for everyday wear. I find it perfect due to its simple, inoffensive nature. In my opinion it's perfect for a daily wear if you're just looking to smell like fresh laundry, slight honeydew-melon, cucumber and lavender. (Funnily enough, the lavender does not come through on my skin but you may smell it on yours!) It seems perfect for spring/summer due to its lightness but I feel you can daily wear it all year long due to the slight sweetness. It's cosy enough for the colder months. It is also one of the few fragrances that does not trigger my migraines even with 3-4 full body sprays! The longevity is decent but you will need to reapply throughout the day. I do get whiffs of it even 3-4 hours after applying, the scent is just not as strong. The sillage is somewhat intimate and/or moderate depending on where you spray, how much you spray, etc. All in all, if you are looking to smell clean or simply want a very basic fresh scent to wear on the daily, this one won't break the bank!

Amazing by every means possible. Clean, light, and perfectly balanced. It captures a rainy, dewy, ozonic atmosphere that feels refreshing without being sharp or overly aquatic. There’s a distinctly futuristic quality to it, like a very Frutiger Aero spirit. It smells like a clean, idealized future: soft air, fresh water, and polished minimalism. The scent feels airy and modern rather than soapy, which keeps it elevated and interesting. The packaging is excellent and complements the fragrance perfectly. Longevity is also surprisingly strong for a fragrance mist, holding up well on skin compared to most in the category. Overall, everything about Rain feels just right, clean, calming, modern, and beautifully executed.

I’m glad they made a true aquatic scent even though it’s a body mist. No musks, citruses, woods, just pure watery notes with some mild background florals, like earthy garden scent after intense summer rain. A rare enjoyable discovery to spray during hot days. You know, that feeling when you hear distant thunder with heavy rain and that intensity fills the air, the scents around you are also intensified. And then the rain starts falling, surrounding you with aroma of water touching ground covered in wild flowers

Very clean watery scent that I love to wear along with the matching lotion after my evening shower. Layers well with their lavender essential oil mist also. The opening is a bit sharp on my skin, but only for a moment. On dry down, the aquatic notes are still there but a skin scent note is picked up on my skin - like an ambrette or musk, even though there are no musk notes. I really love this scent. It’s so clean and cozy

I'm not so sure about calling this one rain, it doesn't have a lick of that earthiness you'd expect, but it's such a wonderful freshwater scent nonetheless. Bright and clean and sweet but not by an overbearing amount, and just barely floral. A real aquatic scent without any woods or spices to distract. Lovely!!

Love this! It’s the perfect shampoo-like clean scent somewhat reminiscent of cucumber + melons but without the powerful sweetness of ripe fruit. Personally I find it to have even a sharp coconut smell which adds to the freshness. This bright fragrance on a hot day will make you feel cool and refreshed.💙

a clean body mist with a good projection and lasting power if you overspray just a tad. honestly reminds me of like “air freshener” rain than the actual thing. It starts off a little screechy but the dry down is really soft and has a cucumber-melon like scent.

Clean and light. Has a sweetness to it i didn't expect and reminds me of a body mist i had when i was younger. This and coffee scented lotion or spray are beautiful together. Perfect for every day and all year with its clean fresh scent and versatility

i wore this perfume a lot around the start of my relationship with my girlfriend this last june, so it has very positive associations for me. one of my all time favorites from B&BW.

Nice and fresh and clean, and it has lavender so I kinda have to like it(shout out to oomf for bringing this over to my house so I could smell it...may need to rob him later)

This is a beautiful, watery, aquatic scent with a touch of lavender. I love that the lavender isn’t astringent. It’s the perfect any time, relaxing scent.

i had a free reward at bath and body works, and there was nothing i thought i needed..... until i saw this. i’ve loved the smell of a fresh spring rain since i was a kid, and am now very into rain notes in fragrance. i didn’t actually spray it in store (i was just hoping it would actually smell rain adjacent), but last night i decided to try wearing it to bed. on my skin it is wayyyy more beautiful than in the bottle. very watery florals, complete spring rain vibes. i think i’ll be wearing this to bed every night now because it’s soooo calming with that lavender note and the very watery vibe

This is nice and relaxing, im a big fan of the subtle lavender in this, its not giving cleaning product to me. Feels like a cooling spa scent, not really getting the cucumber everyone is talking about, but to each their own. Very fresh and long lasting on clothes, It smells cold. Needs a little more earthiness in order to be a "rain" scent, but overall good. An easy reach for bed.

Now with not being too sure of how to explaining this scent at least for me it is a soft and sweet watery fragrance with a cotton touch. A very safe blind buy for those who enjoy water and skin like notes. Although the lavender note i dont get any from it, which for me is a good thing because im not a big fan of lavendery smells. Overall a solid 7/10, very good for layering.

This is like the opposite of what Burberry goddess would smell like.LOL The lavender pairs well with the aquatic notes, it smells like you got out of the shower. It's classy with a light sillage making it perfect for work settings or interviews. Defiantly best for the warm seasons as it also gives a cooling effect.

It smelled really good on the tester but after buying it and trying it on my skin it kind of has a weird smell so it might be my skin chemistry but it smells great sprayed on clothes. Very aquatic and fresh, not quite a rain smell but it's in that area. not really feeling the lavender

I love aquatic scents, and while this is nice and I do like it, I'm not a huge fan. Maybe part of it is the name; when I think of the smell of rain I don't really think of lavender. More than rain, it smells like you're in the shower and using a lavender body wash. It's just too soft for me to LOVE it. I think I enjoy an aquatic more when there's some woodiness or herbal notes. It's a perfectly nice clean and fresh scent but it's like it's missing something that would elevate it and add some texture. ETA: I revisited this hoping to love it but it's still not my favorite. I think I was way off calling this "soft." Today it just smells overwhelmingly soapy to me. Clean, but too sharp. It also just doesn't smell that good on my skin unfortunately.

10 years ago, I hated lavender forward scents After a long time, I decided to try this body mist and realised I still feel the same. Most of the people around me told me the scent was actually nice. There is nothing wrong with the scent, just personal preference and skin chemistry. On my brother, it smelled like it should. Very clean, aquatic, like a cold cucumber with no sweetness. Just with lots of lavender. On me, it smells slightly like arotten egss. But overall, I let so many tried it, and 90% love it. Projection is very mild, sillage is moderate. I could smell myself. Longevity is average BBW mists. Better for warmer months and for like gym scents. Leans masculine. Also, I don't think it smells anything like Cool Water or Gingham.

Easy peasy body spray for a hot day, but not my favorite scent tbh: 3/5 It's a bit chemical and cologne-like to my nose, more air freshener-like than other aquatic scents I've liked. I still like it though and it does the trick when it feels too hot for a gourmand (my usual go to) and I don't want to wear an edp. Don't think I'll get this one again, but it's not a total loss.

This is nice, but it was a regret. It's a pretty, slightly floral aquatic that leans unisex. The more I used it, the more I realized that it is not the same as what I smelled in the mall store, and now I can't return it ): It reminded me so much of this rare Mugler perfume when I first smelled it. Now, it smells nothing like it, just a basic aquatic body spray.

not really the kind of soaked pavements and wet earth kind of rain i was hoping for. i agree with an earlier reviewer that it's more like air conditioner rain, car freshener rain... blue flavored deodorant. clean as in cleaning, not cleansed. i am however curious about its dry down... maybe i didn't give it enough time to sit on my skin. next time i stop by i'll try it!

Smells like cucumber toilet spray. Super disappointing.

Vomit inducing, sickly sweet chemical mess. A particular note in this goes sour on me, and I’m unsure what, increasing my overall displeasure with it, but even on a tester it’s not pleasant. I like lavender notes. I like clean fresh scents. I just don’t like this. Clearly this must be a “me” thing, as none of the reviews seem to agree.

I have the body butter of this scent, which is named "water" for whatever reason. This is a beautiful scent -- it's like Cucumber Melon minus the sweetness. It's a very clean and bitter plant-like smell. Smells very much like a photorealistic cucumber to me. I adore it!

The scent is very similar to Clean's Rain (the green bottle). That one is a great stronger alternative. I have the body cream of BBW Rain and it lasts for more than 24 hours. I keep getting whiffs all throughout the day and the next day, so it's a bit of a commitment

This is very fresh and clean smelling scent it kind of reminds me of air freshener or dryer sheets and lasts a lot longer then my other body sprays from babw

This is the same scent as their Hyaluronic Acid hand cream. I like it, but it unfortunately has very little staying power.

Please stop describing scents as shampoo....

this just smells like generic lotion ??
