Sea Salt Coast

Earthy aquatic woody bliss with a powdery twist. It is interesting how some salty aquatic fragrances come off as powdery, rather than fresh aquatic, just like J by Jennifer Aniston with the water lily, musk, freesia and the sea notes or Korres Sikinos with the lotus, salt, freesia, musk/sandalwood etc where again the effect is rather powdery and calming. Same here, watery fresh lotus, and powdery salty air on a sandalwood base. Absolutely beautiful, better than I expected it to be. Very interesting, aquatic kinda herbal and earthy, very woody and sweet enough to be comforting. It's kinda like a combo of aromatherapy's black chamomile and a Goose Creek lotion called burlwood and oak which has oak moss, lavender/rosemary and sandalwood which smells green, herbal dark and bittersweet, my favorite thing! From the sprayer Sea Salt Coast has this addicting woody damp earthy smell of that lotion. Here in Sea Salt Coast there is sandalwood too and there is a dark salty almost bitter and very green herbal scent to my nose, but watery too like the rain on the sea. It manages to give the impression of coastal air that's damp after a rainy day on the beach with a cloudy sky and soaked wood in salty sea water - the watery effect from the lotus (the notes are not lily listed on here, but lotus). I'm from a sea village in Greece where it rains often and this scent brought back memories. It can be unisex, the opening was unexpected to me being so woody, it seemed weird at first and then I recalled the burlwood and oak lotion which I always wanted in a mist. It's opening to me is kinda bitter like black chamomile is or herbs, and it's paired with an aquatic woody aroma -slightly herbal, slightly salty but also powdery the way salty notes translate in some fragrances possibly when paired with musk and lily or lotus. The drydown is just like a perfume, sweet, powdery, comforting, but retaining its original earthy freshness. The powdery aspect is what makes it so unique to me. It's not fresh like underwater oasis (which I also like) which is more sour and high pitched without any mellow powdery notes. Water lily springs is also like a beautiful perfume scent with a 90s vibe, but Sea Salt Coast is a new favorite. Lasting power is pretty good but I don't mind spraying it often.

At first I was like “whyyyy do I buy scents at BBW when I am noseblind from too many smells?” I thought this was too masculine and cologny after putting it on. THEN 5 minutes in, I started moving around and a mysterious, familiar, magical scent started floating around me. It took me 10-15 minutes of resniffing myself to place the scent memory. This is a dupe for Gap Close, a long discontinued freshy scent with notes of salt, water notes, and very light citrusy florals that was my “shower in a bottle” savior in the summer, years back. It was marketed to women but totally unisex. I gave it to my mom thinking I’d just get another to find out it was sold out everywhere and I’ve been longing for a perfect dupe ever since. This is it. It’s the freshest fresh that ever freshed!!! I am so happy I made this “mistake!” It’s pure, clean, and the harsh masculine opening only lasts 5 min for me... then she’s Gap Close all the way. What a lovely find. It’s 101 degrees here tomorrow! Just in time.

Very aquatic and clean, the teensiest bit of sweetness to it in my opinion. It can only be smelt if close by but that’s what I love about it. It’s not a scent I can tired of and so perfect for summer. I also think it’s great for layering light sweeter scents over it for a more feminine touch. Another thing is this scent gives me fancy hotel bathroom vibes but not in a bad way more so like a clean, fragrant, sophisticated way which I like a lot in perfumes lol. Anyways LOVE.

I enjoy unisex scents from bath and body works. This one impressed me with the fresh, woody, aquatic notes. The dry down is the best part. I love clean effortless scents & this is definitely one of them. If they'd bring smoked old fashioned back, the 2 would make the perfect cold/warm weather pair. I layer ssc with the body cream & travel hand lotion & that helps longevity.

Nice fresh scent. It reminds me of Adidas Moves Her which is a favorite of mine. SSC is a sporty, sexy, oceanic scent. It's not sunscreeny or floral. Its unisex and I wouldn't say it leans masculine or feminine...its just a nice freshy. It feels as if you're at the ocean. It also is a bit like Cool Waters by Davidoff. I will enjoy this on the hot summer days.

I love this fragrance and wish they brought it back this year. It’s a clean salty musky scent. I love pairing this with wood sage and sea salt by Jo Malone. If you’re a fan of clean and aquatic smelling fragrances you’ll love this! I find it unisex :)

Clean, Musky, powdery, woody with a touch of sea salt to it! It’s just like every single generic male perfume nothing special really! But I love it one the days I want a subtle scent that makes me smell cleanable squeaky I pick it up. If you dislike musky powder scents it’s not any different from the other ones definitely not a safe blind buy the notes don’t do it justice.

Very unisex fragrance. I love using this as it gets hotter. Perfect for summer / spring. For some reason, I smell coconut in this lol.

I feel that this fragrance would be better fit in the men’s section.

This is a burst of cleanliness! It truly is heavy on the salt. It's a clean, blue musk, and I agree with others here, more traditionally masculine (though who cares, wear what you like regardless). What is great about musky fragrances like this though, is that the hot summer air doesn't stifle them as quickly as freshies with less musk. Of course, this is a body mist so the longevity isn't what an EDT or EDP might be, though if this were made into one, I suspect it would have decent performance. This smells like shower products. It would make a good workout scent 🚿

Salty musky by the sea. Male. Maybe this is more feminine on the skin? It has been a while since I've really properly used this so this review is being written based off a tester strip. Just based off the tester though, this is definitely a males scent.

This is very marine: I smelled heavy oceanic musk and creamy driftwood. It does lean masculine. The creaminess of the driftwood mixed with the marine notes is not my favorite style. Two hours in, the driftwood dominates and it becomes more of an intimate scent. At this point, it smells kind of creamy like cashmeran. I don't get the lily. I think this composition would have benefited from heavier salt or some solar notes. The drydown is similar to Ellis Brooklyn Salt's drydown but less buttery.

not my usual style, but found it in a free box, so why not try it? aquatic salty musk-a clean skin scent. soft at first then the salt note strengthens and it gets a bit more trad. masculine. remains that way. i get no lily here. aquatic salty summer scent. light and refreshing. not for me, but i could see a lot of people liking this.

I smelled it in store.... doesn't smell even the tiniest bit "female" to me and I don't know if I'd really want my future man to smell like this either way toooo salty yick! Sorry it's a pass for me!

Nope. Smells like highly salted pasta water at first then a teeny whiff of something masculine and then POOF...gone. Seriously 5 minutes on skin and clothes. Stick to Saltwater Breeze, this is a dud.

Definitely not a feminine scent, I thought at least it would be unisex, but I gave it to my bf because it’s quite masculine. It won’t blow your mind as it can read a bit generic, but was nice to grab for SAS for casual, everyday office wear (for him)

Clean and fresh unisex scent. Smells great on its own but then I paired it with BBW Dressed in White and it's just perfection! Got a lot of compliments.

It’s a really nice and clean fragrance. Definitely unisex in my opinion, but I loved smelling it on my skin even as a certified gourmand girly.

They should have placed this in the men's section. masculine aquatic scent.
