Snowflakes & Cashmere

Snowflakes and Cashmere is one of my most favourite scents from bath and body works. It means a lot to me. The first time I smelled it really touched my soul. It brings back nostalgia and happiness for me. To be fair it’s a scent that makes me want to cry out of happiness. As a child I was raised by my grandparents. And my grandmother had this amazing smelling perfume that she’d apply every night before bed, I don’t recall the name or brand at all, I’ve been trying to find it all this time. :( But me being a child I asked for some to be sprayed on myself every night. The smell was heavenly. I remember smiling and thinking that’s how it must feel to be a lady. And thus it became a part of our night routine, we wore the perfume every night before bed until the bottle was all dry. All until there was not one single drop left. I recall telling her to go buy another bottle since there was none left and I suppose that didn’t happen and she threw away the empty bottle. My grandma isn’t here anymore with us, but that scent still lingers in my mind and makes me want to cry. I would do anything to have it again, now it’s become a symbol of nostalgia of me & my grandmother and a beautiful memory from my childhood. The smell is so distinct I could never forget it so when I smelled this in the bath and body works store I nearly cried. I know for a fact this isn’t the exact perfume but it’s basically the same exact scent! I never bought a spray so fast and believe me I stocked up cause I have like 2 bottles and the body lotion of snowflakes and cashmere. I truly do hope bath and body works never discontinues this in the future cause personally I’ll be devastated, it means so much to me and hits really deep in my heart. 🫶🏼🤍

It has notes of vanilla cashmere cream, caramel woods and frosted clementine. First impression upon sniffing it was "milk candy". it smells like a creamy sweet milk candy. This is quite a unique scent, i can't put my words into what exactly it smells like. It's just a very soft scent, very well blended and the true definition of sweet and creamy. I do get the vanilla cashmere cream right from the moment the scent settles into my skin. The vanilla is creamy ( almost milk candy like) here and along with that cashmere note it gives a sophisticated silky warm touch to it. Combined with caramel woods gives this scent a sweet woody vanilla dry down. It's almost like a creamy vanilla batter topped with caramel drizzle. I don't notice any burst of frosted clementine or citrusy note here and even if it is present here then it adds onto enhancing the sweetness of this fragrance. I don't personally like cashmere notes in my fragrance cause idk it smells very old lady's sweater like to me , but somehow the vanilla note here saves the cashmere note from smelling too mature. It still has a warm sweater like vibe about it but that sweater smells creamy caramel like if that makes any sense 😅 Coming onto the projection of this, it is noticeable with this mist, it does create a scent bubble around you. Longevity is quite good on my skin, sticks up to 6 hours and then it becomes a lingering sweet skin scent. Even though it is targeted as a winter fragrance but i feel like you can easily wear this in spring or fall season too. It's appropriate for cuddling time or can be used as a bed time scent. It is an extremely soft & cozy scent that makes you smell innocent and huggable to the person who is smelling this on you.

Pretty, softly sweet, warm, woody, Ambery, creamy, musky, cozy, comforting Such a pretty and incredibly cozy scent! I really pick up on sweet vanilla, the golden warmth of the amber, the cozy caramely woodsy scent, some soft and comforting cashmere, and a bit of powdery musk. This is such a nice sweet scent, but in a soft and delicate way that’s not at all cloying. This is like being wrapped up in your softest and most comfortable blanket, and being all warm and super cozy while reading your favorite book. It’s such a pleasant scent that’s perfect for any age, works for day and night, and it’s a super easy reach. I think that it really shines during the cold of fall and winter, the warmth and coziness of it makes it just right. I do own it in the mist, lotion, and shower gel, but I use the lotion and shower gel the most. It pairs really nicely with a lot of the fall and winter vanilla perfumes in my collection. For reference, some of my favorite vanillas include Gold Sugar, Kayali The Wedding Silk Santal, Kayali Vanilla 28, Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, Nest Golden Nectar, Nest Vanilla Bourbon, Replica Afternoon Delight, Burberry Goddess Intense, Phlur Vanilla Skin, SDJ Summer é Amor, SDJ 62, VS Vanilla Lace, B&BW Vanilla Romance I get very good performance with Snowflakes & Cashmere, especially when I use the lotion and shower gel with the mist. The longevity is really nice, especially for a body mist... it lasts the majority of the day on me. The projection is decent too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me.

So, I have been collecting fragrances since April this year, and I’ve been able to accumulate 100 full bottles, more or less, within that time frame. I’ve invested in some expensive designer and—even more expensive—niche fragrances. I’ve paid an arm and a leg for a couple of unicorns... ...But I’ve received my first ever compliment for...this. I got it on sale for about $5.95...I need to re-evaluate my collection and spending habits lol. It just goes to show: never underestimate Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secret and other affordable body sprays. If you want compliments, they are the most mass-appealing. This is a light and cozy vanilla. It took a bit from the Warm Vanilla Sugar DNA, and I also smell a drizzle of caramel in there, even though it’s not in the notes. It’s three drops of sweetness away from being cloying, but there is restraint. The effect is exactly like what the name describes: It feels like you’re looking through the window of your house or cottage, watching snow gently falling from the sky, and you’re snuggling up to a warm cashmere blanket in your bed or couch.

I found my love for the Snowflakes and Cashmere scent through the body wash. I've since tried the lotion and spay as well. The body wash is still my favorite because it brings out the citrus and really warms up the caramely scent from the amber in the hot water. The body wash's scent also lingers on skin for hours. The body spray is nice for layering or bedtime. I like to spay while getting ready for bed because of how cozy it smells. It opens with cashmere and there's something caramely yet citrus with a woody backing. It's somehow both fuzzy and creamy textured. I can't say I smell the tea note but it's probably balancing the other rich notes to keep it from being overwhelming. There's vanilla as well but it's not overly vanilla. The other notes keep it much more interesting than a plain vanilla scent. This spray lasts an hour or two unlike most body sprays. I also like layering this with perfumes that are all fruit/florals/citrus/etc. that lack any warm or gourmand notes. Layering this can round them out and dial down sharp or screechy notes.

I received this as a gift for Christmas 2016 and I loved it! Warm and cozy - does a great job of portraying both comfort and also the enchantment of snowfall. The top note to me is caramel woods followed by vanilla and amber. There's also a fresh clementine note hiding in there. There's something familiar about it. It evokes the feeling of wearing snuggly sweaters and my knock-off UGGs. Or sitting by a fireplace watching the first snowfall of winter with a mug of strong coffee or hot chocolate. Perfect for daytime and nighttime and even bedtime (especially nice for taking a nighttime bath with the shower gel). It's extra magical and nostalgic to me because I wore it often while my son was a newborn😍 The longevity and sillage was the best I've had from any B&BW fine fragrance mist. (This is for the 2016 version I haven't tried any other version.) "Merry Mocha" by VS is similar to me - except instead of a clementine note, Merry Mocha has hazelnut. (But the longevity/sillage for Merry Mocha is not nearly as good as Snowflakes and Cashmere.)

this is gorgeous. reminds me a bit of ivory cashmere--they don't smell similar but they're both fragrances that smell "clean" without smelling soapy or like laundry, and sweet without being gourmand. in terms of actually similar fragrances, velvet petals from vs is definitely the closest. the two are almost indistinguishable, this is just less floral and sweeter. some folks have compared this to sweet whiskey, which i kind of see, but i find sweet whiskey a lot fruitier and screechier--i think sunrise woods is a closer comparison, but neither is similar to snowflakes & cashmere to me. compared to cheirosa 59, this is cleaner, less woody, and less gourmand. fresh cream warm cashmere is sweeter and simpler to me, without the clean notes. tbh, i think the only actually similar fragrance is velvet petals but i like this better! regardless, this fragrance is amazing. i can't really imagine anyone hating this fragrance, and the longevity and projection are surprisingly strong for such a clean scent too.

I've been buying a LOT of fragrances lately and just felt like I needed something I can quickly throw in my bag without caring about scratches and scuffs so I made a huge purchase B&BW purchase on Boxing Day, including four body sprays: this, velvet sugar, wvs, and sensual amber. This is surprisingly nice! It's exactly the kind of 'clean and cozy' scent I've been looking for especially for straight out of the shower. On my skin/clothes it's cashmere musk, with a hint of ambery vanilla and an even tinier hint of white tea! Super beautiful and a great affordable blind buy at about $5 CAD! It barely has any sillage but that's fine, I just wanted something that smells like 'my skin but better', and this is a great option that I can't see NOT working with any fragrance I own! I hardly get any citrus but I don't mind in the slightest. I wasn't really expecting it to have a strong citrus note and I find citruses can smell incredibly cheap in body sprays if done wrong (which it often is).

I underestimated snowflakes and cashmere and this year after testing it in store, I decided to buy it. In past years, it was very alcohol-heavy, and I could barely get any scent off of it. This year, though, I feel like they finally nailed the formula. This is one of the only bath and body works fine fragrance mists in recent years that lasts all day. I got so many compliments when I was wearing it and people were shocked to hear where it was from because of how expensive it smells! I’m not quite sure why it’s listed as woodsy and as a floral green fragrance on fragrantica because that’s not what it is at all. To me, this is a warm caramel-vanilla scent mixed with a little bit of orange (this scent is not in any way citrusy though). I am 100% going to stock up on this scent when it goes on sale!

Such a pretty, softy sweet, warm and cozy fragrance! This lovely gourmand vanilla is sweet, but not overly so, has amber to add warmth, and woodsy notes that that adds a nice cozy feel! I’m always looking for pretty smelling vanilla lotions that I can layer with my fragrances, and this is one of the best I’ve come across! I have the body wash, lotion, and mist! The softly sweet vanilla, amber, and woodsy scent is super pretty and not overpowering so it goes really well with fragrances like Kayali Vanilla 28, Burberry Goddess, Nest Golden Nectar, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Gold Couture, and Jessica Simpson Fancy! The longevity is good with this one, it lasts all day on me! The projection is good too, it radiates out about an arm’s length from me!

Ever since I got this (2022 version) I've been wanting to do a review. Seen a few others now say that the lotion is great for layering - glad to see that cause I came to say the same. I didn't get the spray, it was weak and alcohol-y to me, but the lotion... oh man the lotion. It opens a bit like play dough as some already mentioned, but as it sits and melts into my skin, it's just SO cozy and lovely. Not sure why others can't detect the clementine. It sure is subtle but it really comes out to play after a bit and makes all the difference. I love layering Al Rehab Choco Musk and/or Pink Sugar on this. I smell like a damn cake. Or something more amber-y or anything w some sort of resin works well too if you're not into smelling like a dessert.

I just got this and I really like it a lot. It could be stronger, I wish it was stronger, but it's an amazing scent. I have around 40 Bath & Body Works mists and this is in my top five. This can definitely be worn year round, it's not just a winter scent, regardless of "snowflakes" in the title. To me it's like your skin, but better sort of the way Glossier You and Victoria's Secret Bare is marketed. I can see this layering well with lots of fragrances, even though I'm not much into layering. Oddly enough it also sort of has a "clean" smell to it without smelling like dryer sheets or laundry. People have marked it on here as being similar to Velvet Petals from VS, so I'll have to sniff that one to see if it warrants owning both.

I wore Snowflakes and Cashmere almost every single day in high school, and it evokes such wonderful memories of that time. My classmates always used to ask me what perfume I was wearing. Cashmere has always been my favorite fragrance note, and this spray perfectly and delicately combines it with vanilla and amber. The resulting scent is so warm, rich, and cozy, but not heavy or stuffy at all. I wear it year round; it's light and powdery enough for any season. I'm surprised Bath and Body Works was able to create such a classy and versatile fragrance. Even though I was a teenager when I first started wearing this, I think it's suitable and mature enough for any age. Definitely one of my most loved and cherished fragrances <333

One of the prettiest vanilla scents so far. I love how the caramel is blended to balance out the clementine and vanilla. It has a fruity zing added onto the sweet caramel and creamy vanilla. I love the packaging of the 2024 edition as well, cute and Christmasy. I have another one in the faceted bottle and it smells much more alcoholic than the newest one when sprayed on. The drydown is much more defined in the older version, though. This smells just like a sweet, warm hug or a snuggle in a blanket on a cold winter night. It also lasts a good while when sprayed on clothing or blankets. I can still smell it there the next day. Projection : 8/10 True to Notes: 9.5/10 Sillage : 8/10 Fragrance : 10/10 Longevity : 10/10

MMMM this is so delicious! My grandmother gifted me the lotion today, and I may have to go buy the spray while it’s on sale. The notes listed are a little different: It’s listed as vanilla cashmere cream, caramel woods and frosted clementine. I don’t get much fruit, just a wholeee lotta creamy, cozy goodness. I feel as if this years batch is a little more gourmand than the one from a year or two ago — I gifted the set to my sister, and hers smells a little less sweet, a little more emphasis on the “cashmere” aspect of it. Like a warm cozy sweater as opposed to a warm caramel cream. Extremely light and subtle, perfect for layering. One of their better holiday scents.

This smells so feminine and delicate! It's soft and sweet. I do not consider this a winter scent. It's a pretty, your skin but better scent that you can wear any time of the year. I find it to be a really uplifting scent that makes me smile. I love it on its own and when layered with Strawberry and Snowflakes, it is just a delightful combo. Two thumbs up from me. Edited to add: This smells so much like The Body Shop's Sequin Sparkle perfume oil from a million years ago! I knew this scent reminded me of something from the past. I'm also wearing this layered with Strawberry Snowflakes and it's divine. Such a sweet happy scent :)

I don’t know how to describe this, but in a good way. Smells like comfort and soft warm hugs from your favorite person. It’s clean but not soapy, it’s woodsy but not masculine, it’s citrusy but not overly fruity, and it’s sweet but not sticky dessert type of sweetness. I love this version of amber that smells clean and comforting. I wear the lotion and mist together to make it last longer and not disappear 2.7 seconds later. The lotion is really good! I’d also say this scent can be perfectly unisex as it doesn’t lean feminine nor masculine imo. Though it’s mostly marketed to women, this would work for men and women.

I got this as a christmas gift in 2019 and I loved the smell of it so much. It reminds me of middle school. I have never had a woody scent ever smell as good as this specific body spray. It was PERFECT. I still remember getting compliments on it during class and having girls ask me if they could spray some on after PE. It got thrown away once we went back after the pandemic to go retrieve whatever we had left or had to return before we entered highschool. RIP to Cashmere Snowflakes and Victoria’s Secret PINK Cool and Bright from like 2017 that I stole from my mom. I’ll miss those forever😞

This mist is sooo harddd to find but I fortunately grabbed the last bottle asap. And the first notes are not irritating, I don't know why it reminds me of Lolita Lempicka at first sniff, which is first success. the dry down is very woodsy, cozy vanilla, musky indeed. So this is 1 of the most successful blind buys of mine. Because I live in a tropical country and this is the only bottle of this fragrance I have, I need to save it when travelling to colder places and climates, at least when this covid time ends.

The initial spray is alcohol-y (that's Bath and Body Works for you) but it disappears in a few seconds to be replaced with a creamy, sweet rich vanilla fragrance. Perfect for the winter, especially sprayed over your favorite sweater. I've worn it to work multiple times and have always had customers tell me that they thought I smelled good whenever I walked by them or stood near them (pre-Covid). My only pitfall is that since it's a body mist, it doesn't last as long as a true perfume :(.

This is my "doll head" perfume. I love it, it's like a cuddly, cozy, powdery, sweet musk to me, and a little plastic-vanilla-y, which I love. I also smell a sort-of fruity profile, not necessarily clementine, just something subtly fruity more like macerated berries. The powdery scent is also like... a "wet" powder, which I love. If you've smelled Dama Bianca by XJ, which I also love, you might know what I mean by wet powder. You can get it on a super-deal during B&BW semi-annual sales.

I will forever have this spray. It was given to me as a gift and even though its marketed for winter it can easily be worn year round as its a nice light - cozy smell. For me the vanilla is not the first thing I smell, its hard to describe, as typically when you -i- think of vanilla is like cupcakes and overly sweet and cookies. This is not like that, its not that warm....? idk, its hard to explain but I absolutely love it. For sure my go to when its fall and winter time.

Smells just like Velvet Petals from VS, just a tad more gourmand. I can't smell the woodsy notes, but I smell caramel, perhaps from the vanilla in it. Great for winter time, recommend it for layering. Edit: after some time wearing it, I realised that it doesn’t work well at all with my body chemistry. After half an hour it starts to smell like herbs on me. I’m very disappointed, because I really liked how it initially smelled on the paper.

I regret not buying multiples of this! It’s if not THEE best bbw scent very cozy and warm the clementine note is very comforting and the cashmere vanilla really wraps you in the most beautiful thick blanket of coziness! The longer it sits the stronger it gets I had mine for over a year now and the scent just got better and stronger I might go scavenge hunting for it again because I just can’t get over how delicious and luxurious it smells.

I bought the shower gel during the sale. I instantly thought "this smells similar to something I own", and it's Mon Guerlain Intense. BBW scents vary from product to product, but the shower gel smells like that. Now I wish I had bought more because it's sold out. Update: I added the body spray to my collection during a Thanksgiving sale, and it’s equally as good. I use this so often.

You absolutely have to buy the body butter, lotion if you cant find the butter. Its so beautiful to layer with. Its so soft and creamy. I get cashmere, vanilla, caramel and a slight musk. She beautiful all day but at night before bed....its a comforting hug. The spray is ok....but skip it and lather up with the butter as a base for complimentary perfumes.

Besides the fact that it doesnt last very long, this is one of the coziest winter scents ever made. Plus its not cloying, just cozy and the perfect amount of cashmere! I obviously layer this with fresh cream warm cashmere and its perf! This is a forever repurchase, plus if it was super strong and beastmode id probably get annoyed with it LOL

Performance is pretty bad but smells great. Smell is like a 10/10, it is winter Christmas comfort in a bottle. I just like to spray it everywhere in my room and on my clothes which pisses like the people around me since they’re allergic to fragrances but that’s fine since it only lasts like less than 2 hours and barely projects

The Body Wash of this is everything. I fell in love with it in the shower and wish the lotion and spray lived up to it but ultimately i love how subtle it is. So cozy. Also, the main reason i fell in love with this is because it is everything i remember Rice Flower & Shea to be! I miss that scent sooooooo much.

Genuinely smells like a more faint, less sweet version of EOS Vanilla Cashmere and I swear I’m not saying that because the names are similar. I really like it !!! As other reviewers said, longevity is probably poor but I don’t mind. It’s just a very cozy and comforting scent I’d wear before going to bed

this is my favorite b&bw fragrance mist. it's sweet but very soft and great for layering. it's warm and powdery and has a very very slight tangerine note that i adore. i use this to layer often or just wear alone when i don't want to smell too strong. it smells like the softest sweetest hug!!

This is the best hands down! So I have it in the mini edp, ffm, body cream, and the body butter. My skin is feeling really dry and sensitive so I’m just wearing the body butter and the scent is so strong and almost like cotton candy. I wish this was a year round scent. It’s so good.

gorgeous scent in my opinion, really makes you smell like a princess. sadly like most body sprays it tends to not last very long buuut i still love it anyways !! the vanilla pops out to me honestly and with a subtle warmness from the cashmere, it's a very dainty/soft (?) smell.

This is a cozy sweet perfume.Not Candy sweet,It's balanced in all the right places and is perfect for the cold weather.It is comfort in a bottle like the perfect sweet dessert eaten whilst wearing an expensive wool and cashmere sweater.I just love this and it's body lotion!

Most vanilla body sprays I find too sickly sweet and fruity. This is not one of them. It's warm and soft like, well, cashmere. It could almost pass for something much more expensive. If you want a vanilla body spray to layer with perfume, this would be an excellent option!

This is gorgeous. One of bbw’s best. Sweet, woody, a little lipsticky and so so cozy. If you’re looking for a perfume version of this old navy carries a perfume called “velvet woods and magnolia” by kindred goods that smells 90% similar, just a little sweeter

literally my favorite scent ever but it’s super weak, doesn’t last at all on skin or clothes and doesn’t project either, i got it on sale for $5 tho so i don’t regret it!! will def continue using it i just wish it was 10x stronger bc it smells sooo delicious

THIS SCENT GREW ON ME ! At first, I thought "oh this smelled like an old lady" later I found it warm and comforting to wear, now I think it's a GORGEOUS scent —like you're sitting by a fireplace wearing a warm sweater... (unfortunately It's gone in a minute)

I really like this body mist. Great for layering, it's sweet and comforting without being cloying. I think the clementine and cashmeran really soften it and make it wearable and warm without the headache sweetness. One of B&BW's better scents.

Smells so cozy. I get the vanilla, cashmere and sandalwood prominently. Very classy. The lotion is even creamier. Smells similar to velvet petals but not as sweet.it also shares similar DNA with fireside flurries, which i also love a lot❤️❤️

This feels like wearing your big soft comfy cashmere sweater near a fireplace with a creamy hot chocolate. I am in love with this. But I can get the laundry detergent comments bcs this also resembles to my shampoo (a nice scented shampoo)

Such a beautiful cozy vanilla-cashmere scent. The only Vanilla scent of bbw & vs that I can tolerate. I don't smell the woody notes. I wish it projects more or stronger. It's like a skin scent but better. I wear it cold or rainy days.

This 2025 version is better than last years. It’s cozier, softer, and creamier. Last year I got a burnt tires note. I got it in a travel size ffm, body cream and a mini edp. I wish I got it in the bigger size now. It’s so good!

Yes yes yes! It is a completely linear frag, but wonderful in every way. It is pure powdery caramel and rich amber musk. It is not overly sweet—the sweetness is very palatable. The perfect sweet, nonobvious winter scent.

Definitely a winter scent, but sometimes I use it on spring and summer nights when I want to smell comfy and cozy. Doesnt last long since this is just a body spray, but hey for its price, this is a steal.

I love this fragrance. The 2022 version does not seem like it has vanilla but this is so nice and clean winter fragrance. This is definitely a good pick for clean aesthetic girls but make it winter.

Very soft, powdery Vanilla with a hint of sweetness. I find this a very calming scent, love wearing to bed. If I find I'm having a under-the-weather kinda day, I reach for this. soo comforting!

Just a all around cozy,wintery vanilla type scent!!! All the notes compliment and blend beautifully together . I honestly wish this lasted longer but it’s ok I’ll just keep spraying away lol

To me this is like a cozy, soft, scent and the sweetness and vanilla is almost bright and champagne-y? It's not overly sweet or warm, it's just a good balance of yummy and cozy for all ages!

So good it's caramel, vanilla and slightly woodsy. It's cozy & comforting a great fall and winter scent. I gave mine to my mom because she really liked it, but I'm regretting it now LOL..
