Solar Shine

One of my favorite perfumes I could own! I have both the standard and travel, but sadly missed out on the lotion and sparkly mist. It's my most controversial perfume though, you either love it for all it's sun tan lotion glory or can't stand it. Unfortunately, I can never get it to last more then an hour or so, but I've found other people who make it last all day, so it could just be how I apply it!

I work at bath and body works and got this for free to test, and now this is my go to beach scent. I know not everyone is a fan of the coconut, sunscreen smell, but I can say that this is beautifully made to the point where you can tell it’s not just complete sunscreen. It lasts about 5-6 hours on me. I’m completely in love with the other two scents in this line as well!

I love this so much. It’s the perfect summer scent if you like coconut. I’ve been searching for an affordable perfume similar to this and haven’t had any success. I’d definitely buy this in a perfume if they made one because like all B&BW scents, it just doesn’t last that long and unfortunately the only lotion they offer in this scent is glittery.

Thisssss is sooooo goooooooooood. it doens't smell at all like Rio Radiance from SDJ whoever said that is terribly mistaken. This is a super unique saltyyy beachyyyy coconutty scent. Rio radiance smells more like Getaway Soire by BBW. Thissss scent is heaven scent, periodddt

It has a creamy coconut scent with a hint of floral (maybe from tuberose). For me, its scent isn't overly gourmand because there's also a bit of freshness. While I can smell the coconut, it doesn't have that strong beachy vibe for me, perhaps because it has tuberose which I don't really associate with summery or tropical scents. But it smells really good, I will definitely buy if it becomes available again, but it's sad to know that it's a limited edition.

A good Rio radiance dupe. I still like rio radiance a bit more than this one tho. To me it reminds me of summertime vacation like sunscreen and beach vibes.

I bought it because it was only like $5, this is very sunscreeny but it's sweet almost in a bad way and this is coming from someone who loves everything sweet. I don't normally leave a bad review on a scent but the way the scents combine in this is just not it. If you're in the mood to wear it, it can be okay but most days it doesn't really work. I got tired of it after a few days of trying and just gifted it to someone else, there's definitely better coconut type of summer scents out there.

this smells exactly like rio radiance. i think this is a repackaged 'golden sunflower' because it smells exactly like the one from last year. both smell like rio radiance by sdg.

mimics rio radiance, but not a dupe for me. not as complex or interesting. smells kind of like wet towel and prescription strength sunscreen.

Sunscreen scent. If you remove the floral fruity in Meet Me in Miami you get this scent.

Hard pass. My sister wears this all the time and to me it just smells annoying. it's reminiscent of sunscreen and is wayyyy too overbearingly coconutty and sharp. The only plus I'd say about this is that it is very beast mode for a B&BW mist. You can smell it on clothes days after and the projection is insane.

This is the first BBW fragrance that I am in love with! I kept buying the body mist and shower gel so I would have plenty . This scent is memories of being at the beach! Yes it smells like sun tan oil, coconut, vanilla, tuberose it smells delicious! I'm tired of all the pistachio scented dupes of SDJ and coconut lime by TF! This one was divine and I'm so disappointed it's not back for summer 2025! It was perfection! This DOES NOT smell like Rio Radiance or Soliel Blanc AT ALL! If you don't like the smell of sunscreen or sweet vanilla coconut then this is not for you. Most coconut fragrances dry down smelling like baby powder, this doesnt at all! Its sexy and sweet and I want MORE

Coconut and vanilla without being beachy- I’m in agreement with one of the reviewers below. I’m very happy I picked this up @ the B&BW semi annual sale- it’s very sophisticated and I think this could be worn in the cooler months, as well.

In the UK we sadly don't have this beautiful beach perfume. I have written to BBW to ask them to make the range available to us !

This is 100% a Rio Radiance dupe! It’s definitely not my scent preference (I’m not big on coconut) but it is definitely a dupe.

I can't remember how Rio smells. All I know is comparing it to coco paradise side by side, they smell literally identical.

Cloyingly sweet but I can see why people would like it, it's just not for me. Definitely sweet floral sunscreen.

Oh gosh. My nose only picks up white floral and I hate it. Smells similar to Vacation for me.

I sniffed in store & it just smells like coco paradise. But not as good!
