Strawberry Pound Cake 2020

I first had Strawberry Pound cake when the farm house cafe collection came out which had sugared cherry crisp, Vanilla mocha cafe, Etc came out((2020)). The packaging was everything and just so cute, however SPC didn’t have the best longevity and wasn’t headache inducing like it has been in the faceted bottle recently((smelled like strawberry rubbing alcohol)) but for some reason even after that, I wanted to give SPC another try since I needed a sweet girly scent that I can use because it’s uplifting for me, and I loved strawberries so, I gave SPC another go this year, and JUST WOW. the formula has changed up since its been out and in its latest repackages, it’s not headache inducing anymore and the longevity is impressive for a body mist, and I have tested if not almost all BBW mists that BBW has to offer((popularized mists)), and by far, SPC is the best when it comes to longevity on the skin and clothes. SPC is a scent that I feel anyone will like, definitely pleasing, because who doesn’t like a strawberry poundcake? But honestly this years version reminds me of strawberry cheesecake instead of pound cake, it’s so creamy, sweet, and just yummy. I honestly wanna get a back up because its soooo good, definitely happy I gave SPC a chance again, hopefully they won’t tweak the formula of this one because it’s spot on perfect. Definitely a comfy scent for me, if you don’t have SPC, buy her, she’s definitely a keeper, and a safe buy.

I purchased this BBW Strawberry Pound Cake just to see what it was like. Overall, I found that it's a bit too sweet for my taste, so I may have to use some BBW Oh Cherry or BBW Apple & Honey with it to tart it up a notch. These BBW are all layering scents are meant for experimenting just to see what I can come up with. his one really does give Strawberry Shortcake vibes and only a certain personality type can carry it off to be able to wear it straight up. Anyway, it picks up my mood and makes me smile, that is all that really matters. These fruit scents would all go well with other bright floral scents and other fruit scents. I would stay away from spice or rose scents or what you concoct will end up smelling like a bathroom air freshener. The only exception is BBW Apple Honey with Cinnamon Spice which may work well. Thank goodness this formula had no vanilla detected. BBW vanilla comes off as stink bugs on me for some reason, yet I can wear vanilla fragrance in other scents which has me curious. From what I understand, I am not the first to say that! I do love the fruity scents at BBW though.

I don't know what it is about this one, but I never grow tired of it. I have a few different versions of this (different years, packaging) and there doesn't seem to be any variation between them which is nice. I love it from first spray to dry down, (especially the dry down) and whatever lingers on my clothes and in my hair afterwards. It's such a perfect sweet strawberry-whipped cream-cupcake-doll scent and everytime I wear it I fall in love with it over and over again. I don't usually get compliments because I like to keep my scent close to me, but this is one of the few scents I've received them on. One from my husband, who compliments it every single time he smells it on me, and another from a coworker who almost made it weird. I think this one of those scents that you either love, or hate with a passion. I'm a lover!

Favorite go to Bath and Body Works scent, Although I can't really smell the cake part it has more of a vanilla undertone but heavy on the strawberry almost like strawberry jam or syrup super sweet and gourmand. I only ever buy this scent from Bath and Body Works whenever I run out. It's perfect if you are someone who loves gourmand scents you will love this. I do wish bath and body would have kept the original packaging when it was redesigned in 2021 when it was the bakery packaging it looked so much cuter rather then when it was switched too plain red I also think the scent was changed as well since I had the one with the bakery packaging in 2021 and when i compared it to the plain red packaging in 2022 it smelled more heavy on the alchol and more like fresh strawberries rather than strawberry syrup and vanilla cake :(.

this is such a guilty pleasure fragrance for me. i usually go for more unisex, deep scents (amber, patchouli, woodsy notes) but for whatever reason, i cannot get enough of this. i hesitated about getting this for such a long time since i generally don't love fruity frags and this just seemed so juvenile, but strawberry is one of my favorite fruits and the scent of strawberries just gets me every time. the opening's very synthetic and sharp, but it settles down pretty quickly to a cozy, vanilla strawberry scent that just makes me feel so safe and happy. projection and longevity are both decent for a mist, so if you don't mind smelling "cheap," this is sweet, cozy goodness.

I own this fragrance in multiple different mediums, but I think the body mist is the one that smells the most deconstructed. In other forms, it smells like one big, delicious fragrance, but in the body mist, I can smell each individual note separate from one another. Regardless of this, this is absolutely delectable. I have a hard time pulling my nose away from my skin once it's on. It does smell like strawberry pound cake and I can see this easily transitioning from summer into fall. I hope they keep this one around for a very long time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I have this in all the different packaging it has been released in. It smells equal quantities of cake and strawberry with a touch of plastic dolls head in the best way possible. I absolutely adore this scent it has great longevity and paired with the lotion/shea cream after a nice pamper bath it will leave a scent especially if you wear it to bed. A Must !!! a true compliment getter and mood lifter Edit - the one in the packaging shown 100% lasts longer than previous formulations.

My mom gifted me this body spray for Christmas and I normally would never buy something like this for myself but once I smelt it I was in love. It instantly reminded me a ridiculously sweet strawberry cake I ate just a week before on a date with my boyfriend. Not only is the scent so yummy and practically identical to the cake I ate, but it's also nice to have a scent that reminds me of a specific treasured moment. If I can find a perfume like this with better lasting power, that would be ideal.

I'm not sure why people say it smells artificial, maybe they you have a different batch? Im not sure if its relevant but I live in Eastern Europe and this one also has a different packaging (like most products from B&BW). All I can say is that this is to die for, the most accurate representation of a cake I've smelled. This not only smells like cake but the most delicious cake you've ever tasted, nothing synthetic or artificial about it. This is what Strawberry Shortcake would wear.

love this soo much one of the most beautiful scents ever. lmfao my sister abused it tho she over killed she used the candle one and the perfumes im talking 100 sprays a day lmao. beautiful body mist or perfume whatever, i used alot before my workout and run's. bath and body works lowkey makes the best smelling perfumes, i just wish it lasted longer, still good beauty tho.

One of my favorite bath and body works smells. My experiece with BBW is that most of their mists do not unfortunately have strong longevity but this scent is one of the few ones that have strong longevity and sillage. It smells artifical and overpowering yes, but if you love the smell of strawberry and cake you'll love this just like I do

HEAVENLY. smells very sweet; slightly artificial but it certainly gets the message across. i only wish it lasted longer, the scent is really more found soaked into my clothes than around me, and i have to reapply it multiple times through the day. but oh my god. in love

I have the one with the 2 little strawberries (pastel pink and the other one red) and it smells sooo yummy ! Ofc the strawberry is synthetic, like in every body mist... It doesn’t bother me and I just love the strawberry - cream scent. Incredible ♡

one of my absolute favorites from bath and body works. it's absolutely synthetic smelling, very overpoweringly sweet- truthfully, i can't stand to spray too much of this. yet i keep coming back like an addict, craving that taste of sugar once more.

I LOVE THIS SCENT! This smells like the perfect artificial strawberry scent. It has the slightest touch of tart and whipped sugar mixed into it. The only downside is that obviously, it doesn't last very long. Perfect spring/summer scent.

extremely synthetic BUT this is the only thing I want to smell when I go to sleep for some reason. I understand why some people might hate this but it's so much fun to me, so I wear it to sleep where no one can get mad about it!

i like this a lot. I get lots of strawberry sweetness. It is perfect for layering too with perfumes like pink sugar too for added sweetness (though it doesnt need it.) It doesnt last too long given that it is a body mist.

This is delicious. It smells exactly like a strawberry cupcake and you can smell both notes separately too. I will say it doesn’t last long at all, and it can get sickly sweet if you over do it.

this smells like artificial strawberry vape juice mixed with creamy, soft vanilla angel cake. i like it moderately because i love strawberry scents and i love cake, though it's definitely a youthful strawberry shortcake girl next door type scent so can smell a bit too young. additionally, it can potentially be cloying if it’s really warm outside so i’d save this for the cooler months. also, i have to spray a decent amount because it's a body mist so it really doesn't last; it's probably mostly gone after 1-2 hours unfortunately! overall, i’d say this is best for a true gourmand lover who doesn’t mind scents that are super sweet and sticky. i love it occasionally but most of the time it’s just a bit too annoying and sickening.

I love it but good god the smell is POWERFUL. Sucker punches my nostrils even. I first smelled this back in high school where a guy was spraying it like CRAZY on themselves. I loved the smell but golly it was STRONG. I give it an overall 7/10. I give it a high rating because it actually smells like a cake cause a lot of gourmand fragrances claim that their stuff smells like cake, but it doesn't really match up with a cake smell. But this one actually smells like a strawberry cake but It's quite strong which on the other hand makes sense of why it gives some people headaches. It doesn't last long but it smells nice.

And Strawberry & pound cake 🍓 🎂 it is! A warm freshly-baked vanilla pound cake, topped with whipped cream and decorated with loads of crushed strawberry-flavored hard candy and 🍓 gummies. It’s very sweet with a mild tartness and is quite mouth watering, despite the flavors being artificial. It just touches home base with lots of childhood memories; strawberry shortcake dolls, birthday parties, mom baking in the kitchen, strawberry flavored boxed milk🥛 for school lunch 😍 My adult me resists wearing this to work but in winter, at home and to bed the child in me just indulges 😂

This is SO good. It’s long lasting and so sweet. It’s first very strawberry-y. Fresh and fruity then after wearing it you can smell the cake. It never actually blends into a strawberry cake which is upsetting but either way the separate notes are so good. I love it. Probably my new signature scent. Ugh 10/10. (after only wearing this for a couple of months it began to ruin it for me, it got too strong and too sickly sweet for me. I still say its a good perfume but use it sparingly)

I used to think that Strawberry Pound Cake was too sweet, too sugary and too linear - all this while never actually trying it on my skin. I am so glad I gave this a chance. It’s like a strawberry candy cloud, but better. Once you let that vanilla base develop, it smells soft and delicious. There is a bit of a powdery base that keeps it from being straight up candy. Longevity for me is a good 3 hours, impressive for a body mist. I am really enjoying wearing this.

This scent is giving me life right now. I think it smells quite a lot like strawberries. Imagine a huge vanilla-strawberry layered cake with vanilla custard and whipped cream. I have ordered the body mist and one body lotion initially, and just went ahead to order 2 more body lotions, oops (it helps that they're currently half price at a UK retailer). Juvenile or not, I will be smelling like a strawberry cake for the foreseeable. 🍓🍰

SPC is really delicious, and completely convincing! My daughters have products in this fragrance line, so I'm around it often. It carries in the air and smells precisely like it's namesake. Strawberries, thick poundcake and some vanillic cream. It's quite good. Longevity and sillage are both medium. So yes, a shameless gourmand, but it's great. Expensive smelling? Not even a little...but great nonetheless.

more cupcake than strawberry to me, but thats not a bad thing :) lasts longer than a lot of the other bbw mists i have and is my favorite to use in the winter around valentines day (when they usually sell it!!!!) I like to pair this with ari by arianna grande and i feel like a strawberry shortcake doll

I dont understand the recent hate train for this scent its cute and a good gourmand considering its from b&bw. It smells like those small circular strawberry shortcake cakes from Walmart but in a good way <33 though it can get a little synthetic smelling on skin but it doesn't make it bad

This is a very decadent syrupy-sweet strawberry smell. It doesn't have a lot of sillage at least on me, it stays pretty close to my skin but the smell has a surprising amount of staying power. It just won't leave you for hours and I almost get sick of it being there so long.

This smells super realistic??? I have no idea how they did the chemistry for that but they did. Tbh I use this as a room spray when I'm practicing in my schools practice room/bathroom (I know, horrible design choice) so I have don't really know how it's like as a perfume

at first, i really liked the scent. i thought it smelt sweet and delicious, but now it has this stale scent to it whenever i smell it. and what makes it worse is that half my high school either wears this or into the night.

Artificial strawberry cake, very very sweet. Smells so good but can be really headache inducing easily. I cant wear this with warm weather, it makes me nauseous but in cold weather it is amazing.

it's a good scent. simple and cheap (typically!) arguably the sweetest bath and body works scent, sometimes a bit too sweet... just don't overspray and you'll be fine.

I can see how people like it but it's just meh for me. I like sweet sent but this sent is just to sweet witch I never thought I would say. Also my mother physically gaged when she smelt it, she told me that it's not a very comfortable sent that everybody can peacefully enjoy but that's just her opinion. So in summary this perfume is either a hit or miss, you either like it or you don't.

It’s really synethic smelling, I’m surprised so many people are fond of this. I can appreciate the fragrance as a whole, but there is this weird minty mixed with plastic smell I get when I put the mist on my skin??? Maybe it’s just me or because of the newer formulation.

Too cloying for me, but i guess it's acceptable since it's cheap? It smells just like a strawberry pound cake but in a very synthetic and artificial way. Bought a few bbw scents just bcs i was curious and imo i dont think i will be buying anything bbw ever
