The more I read reviews, the more I'm finding it interesting how skin chemistry can make such a vast difference in how things smell and appeal to individuals. This one is heavenly on me (picked up a back up when I caught it end of summer both this yr & last)...definitely a skin scent which honestly is perfect for hot & humid summer days or even at night before bed. However, the solar quality of the orange blossom melded so well with the vanilla lending it warmth & the tiniest bit of sweetness, almost a honey quality on dry down. It doesn't scream heavy floral or heavy gourmand vanilla sweets. It's just a beautiful light floral with a wonderfully skin warming finish. I think the tiny bit of sea salt keeps it from hedging full into the sweet honey realm. I do like a touch of natural sweetness to many of my scent choices, like nectar from flowers & natural fruit essences...not usually candy/gourmand/caramel/honey leaning. Victoria's Secret used to have a very similar concotion in their long discoutinued Forever Sexy (coconut & amber in place of vanilla). Another that's similar in wear effect & great in summer for me is B&BW's White Jasmine, though a touch headier, also projects & lasts a bit more. So if you've like/loved either of those, this is probably a sure winner! (However, Fairytale which I love out of the bottle...on my skin wears oddly & I can't figure it out. All the scent notes orange blossom, amber vanilla, pomegranate are usually great on me, so I attribute it to some note unrevealed...maybe a hidden plum/ cherry blossom/ mimosa/ lotus/ pepper as I've figured out those are scent killers on me.) Anyhow for anyone who has trouble with scents overpowering or has to be careful of fragrance wearing in a work place environment...this is a very safe blind buy/ gifting scent and honestly hoard worthy if that's what one leans towards in their scent wearing preferences.

I am a Bath and Body Works apologist in that I think their affordability measures against their bad projection and occasionally plastic smells. That calculus usually leads to perfectly anodyne, forgettable scents, but occasionally a star ekes by, like this one. (And to write B&B off entirely feels a bit sectarian). A thick layer of baby sunscreen, snapping at the tight straps of your bikini top. Sitting in a humid ice cream parlor, counting the times the ceiling fan goes by, wondering where your Cokes are and doing your darnedest to cool off. It’s not an indulgent scent — this is not the glossy cabana woman in a white caftan and $80 sunscreen, the type of woman for whom things are done. These are perpetually-sunburnt teenage girls, the spicy scent of beach vitex saturating their hair. They bike around the island and scrape their knees and take tidepool baths. They have ocean tar on their feet and sand under their fingernails. They do not care about love or money or beds. They do care, however, what time the boardwalk opens. Pretty perfect. If only there was a perfume version. 3

Sunkissed is so fun! It is a bright, crisp orange blossom with a creamy, warm vanilla finish. It really is a perfect summer scent. I sprayed it on my hoodie this morning and can still smell it 6 hours later. I bought it in the body mist and lotion that comes in the new packaging of pink and orange with gold lettering. If you're into fun summer scents, this one is for you. :)

I wish I could find a sunscreen that smells like this. It's orange blossom-y but the other notes (sea salt and vanilla) change it just enough that it's not simple orange flower. It smells bright and fresh and it's unique. It was only available for a short end-of-summer appearance and I'm wishing they would bring it back. It's a pleasant, bright, sweet fragrance.

I love this one. I wear it all the time. I'm on the hunt for other orange blossom/ neroli fragrances because of it. I find this lasts a really long time on me. It fades really beautifully into vanilla and becomes a lovely skin scent. I wish I could find a perfume!!
