Sunset Glow

This is a really lovely end of summer, beginning of fall fragrance from BBW. It feels like a reiteration on Cactus Blossom, but slightly more gourmand. I'm not usually a fan of gourmand scents, but this one really works for me due to the floral notes from the moon flower. Some people mention this being a cherry-coconut or cherry-vanilla scent. I feel like that's a bit of an oversimplification. It's coconut/moon flower forward, and there is a hint of cherryness, but it's more of an effervescent light cherry (which makes sense as the notes include 'cherry seltzer'). If I didn't know it was in there I wouldn't be able to put my finger on it immediately. Also, like Cactus Blossom, the vanilla really gives it some warmth and body. Sunset Glow is a very appropriate name, this scent gives me major 'sunset beach bonfire' vibes. All in all, maybe not the most sophisticated of BBW's offerings but a definite crowd pleaser.

I just got this recently from another seller cause the outlets in my place seemed to run out of sunset glow full size body mist. I tested this two weeks ago at an outlet (travel size tester and travel size only was sold in the outlet) and to my surprise, I immediately fall in love with the smell. It smells very unique, not very sweet, not so coconut-ish, not even super cherry drenched or vanilla smothered. It's somewhat in the middle of everything it listed. Very sensual body mist. Not harsh on the nose nor it smells like cough syrup or cloying that i makes you feel nauseated. I realized that this particular body mist lasted better on my skin. Not sure if it was the formulation or the combination of scents in it that makes it slightly better than any BBW body mists I owned. I hope they didn't discontinue this. I really love the smell of it. Perfect for all year round sunny Malaysian weather.

I've recently let this rest a while after transit, and finally I can smell its truest scent ( because when it arrived the alcohol is super strong ). the opening smells like cherries that slightly reminded me of dr pepper mixed with coconut, but along with it, there is this smell of caramel that surrounded it too. the caramel in this one isn't definitely warm for me or the cozy kind of caramel, it's a sweet, edible one. so I must say that I smell like a snack with this perfume. the drydown is heavenly ! I must say - although it smells like lactonic caramel. sad to say that this doesn't last long on my skin because it became faint for just about 30 minutes. although when sprayed on clothes it lasts def longer. I'll be careful on overspraying though, the caramel might become sickly sweet. I might make this as one of my everyday scents, I'd love to smell like caramel. ♡

I totally hated this scent at first, gave it a second try but her fate was to be abandoned in my desk as a random body mist. I didn’t like how it smelled slightly cheesy (but that was before) NOOWWW I love it !! This is one of bbw’s fragrance mist that doesn’t lean towards “misty” smell but more of a perfume. It’s a delectable dark caramel scent !! It has a toasty creamy smell with noticeable cherry notes that makes it subtly sexy. Body mists tend to perform really weak like one spray can ghost you in a few minutes but this one performed way too well, it’s too good to be true. 😭 projection-wise? Sure, it’s not a beast, but longevity ATE !! I planned to do my laundry the day after and this perfume was still lingering on the shirt I used. Somehow, this reminds me of Ariana Grande’s classic perfume, her debut fragrance, Ari. Idk maybe it’s just me?

Such a beauty...I shy'd away for far too long. Cherry & cherry blossom notes usually get way too amplified on my skin. But this notes sings beautifully in the background of the sweetly, creamy, warm floral that it is on me. Florals tend bloom beautifully on my skin & this one is no exception. Moonflower notes don't always come through for me, but wow does this one ever. I don't really get a seltzer note in this one. It's really more warm, creamy kiss of sweetness (not at all candy sweet) with a nutty quality to the coconut note & that succulent hint of cherry wafting back & forth in the back. All of this supports the moonflower so amazingly well. I love layering this with some other faves for fun new combos. One of my absolute go to combos with Sunset Glow is VS Bombshell Intense, simply amazing together!!!

I am not sure why people expect this to be vanilla based or a creamy gourmand, the First top notes are cherry seltzer and coconut. Imagine the Kim k cherry perfume dupe (Kimberly Sweet cherry) that you can get from Five Below or Rainbow, or for those that haven't smelled that, imagine Kool-Aid fruit punch smell, then after a while you get the Cheirosa 62 mixed in (nutty pistachio, tropical). Its very summery, fruity, and nutty. I am not one to get compliments on my fragrances often, and having only used this a few times since purchasing, I have gotten a few compliments each time I have worn this. I highly recommend if you see this at BBW, grab the lotion, mist, shower gel. If they made a body butter of this, I would grab a few as well.

best memories I've had was wearing this perfume, i love the bottle cover of the stars and i love the smell, this perfume has a special place in my heart. Bath & Body Works always has the best-smelling and most unique perfumes I’ve ever experienced, and they’re so easy on the nose. I just wish they were a bit more potent and had stronger longevity. I absolutely love Sunset Glow. I honestly don’t care about any alternatives, no matter how strong their longevity or sillage. to me, it’s like the cover of the stars and a beautiful memory i had in em.

Oh I fall in love with this Sunset Glow! The cherry and coconut blend with caramel... I can't say anything just sniff sniff my wrist all the time! haha... I can wear it at home, in the office, hang out, both day and night. The scent is just so pleasant, not too much. This is suitable for adult, not for teenager, as this radiant an elegant vibes. This is one of my fav BBW scents. But as the other BBW mists, this is also couldn't stay long on my skin, approx an hour or two and I have to reapply. I hope BBW doesn't discontinue this one! :)

This is in my top 5 fine fragrance mists from BBW and longevity is amazing for the price. It literally lasts all day on me. I absolutely adore how sweet and warm this is. It’s beautiful on its own but I sometimes also layer it under my Kayali Vanilla 28 and Ariana Grande Cloud perfumes. I love the way the coconut stands out in this scent. To me, it’s more of a warm, nutty, slightly toasted coconut. I also find this to be very similar to Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62 body mist.

this was my first bbw fragrance! i was a bit sceptical, but i gave in, and i fell in love with this! it's so creamy, kind of lactonic, sweet and cozy, with a predominant vanilla note, accompanied by the slightest hint of coconut and a teeny bit of cherry. it's not cloying or intoxicatingly sweet, and has phenomenal sillage and longevity, albeit an 11$ body mist. i sprayed it on my wrists and could still smell it the next day, and it lasts much longer on clothes!

(This is a review of the 2023 summer release) I heard this was similar to SDJ Cheirosa 62, but was skeptical with the listed notes being vastly different. But after trying it, I agree! This is mostly a warm, caramelized sugar-- very sweet and gourmand. I don't pick up on the cherry, and the coconut adds a smoothness but doesn't necessarily smell tropical. I may layer the Sunset Glow body cream with the Cheirosa body mist (or vice versa?)

Oh my god, I thought I hated coconut notes but when I tried this it changed my POV completely! It is not very coconut intensive but it has a very good blend of a citrusy fruit. I didn’t really get cherry, I get more of an orange. It has PERFECT blend from coconut, vanilla and orange/cherry. It is warm, reminds me of the summer. I could picture wearing this at a beach party drinking some cocktails. It is exactly this vibes.

I love this smell. I think it is good year round for day and night. I pick up a little bit of cherry, but I agree that it takes the backseat with this scent. I don't smell any coconut, but I do get a huge whiff of caramelized vanilla every time. This is a great value especially with the SAS. On me this is sweet, but it has a little bit of a spicy kick to it. This is also pretty long lasting for a body mist!!!

This smells incredible. i was blown away. the top notes at first sniff in the beginning smell like heaven. its coconutty. I cant really smell the cherry tho. And when it dries down, i get this sweet vanilla and caramel smell and it smells amazing!! It projects pretty good for the first one hour. The longevity is great. i sprayed it on my sweater and my sweater smelt like it for 5-6 days no kidding.

The moon flower, coconut and cherry are just a great combination just smells wonderful. This last all day you can't go wrong with this fragrance. I would also consider this unisex after all I bought this for my husband and he smell's delicious when wearing it and he get's many compliment's. So if you like these fragrance note's go out and buy it you won't be sorry.

A beautiful cherry caramel smell that lasts 6 to 8 hrs on me. I've never had this kind of scent before. I tend to buy florals and fruity florals and even citrus and fresh scents. I do not like anything sweet or gourmand. But this beautififul body mist seem to go beautifully with my body chemistry. Specially when the weather gets hot it just projects.

Brought this because so many Sol De Janeiro products are sold out (or way overpriced) where I live (NZ). So while I can't compare them this does smell very yummy. Sort of like caramelised sugar? Happy with the blind purchase. Edit: tried cheirosa 62 today and the opening to this is very much similar

Smells so good! Sweet caramel vanilla cherry, yum! One of my new favorites from bbw. Projection is decent. Pairs well with lovefest or really any cherry scent. I did pair with a lime coconut fragrance called Turab Al Dhahab and lovefest burning cherry, amazing 🤩. I have the 2023 release.

to me this sweet coconut strawberry creamy scent almost shampoy, is soooooo good I love it so much just perfect would go perfect with cloud by ariana grande! might try to wear with sweet like candy and see how that goes cuz idk I feel they would work together...

I also have this in the body wash and lotion. I sense the cherry. The caramelized vanilla or coconut is giving off a tobacco vibe. This would pair well with Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry or Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry. The cherry hits the same way.

I bought the 2023 summer collection. When I first smelled it, it was like syrup, I hated it, but then when it dried down, it became a soft, perfectly delicious scent. I also heard that they are very similar to the SDJ 62.

(i have the body gel so this might be a unfair review) to me this smells like cherosia 62 with a summery cherry/fruity note that i really like. i think its a dupe if you really want cherosia 62 but its not the exact same

WOW this is just...amazing (I’m bad at descriptions ok). The cherry in this is to die for & the caramelised vanilla, YUM!! Gives me summer/by the beach vibes🏖Quickly became one of my favourites😄💞

This smells exactly like Sol De Janeiro 62. I get the caramel and pistachio, although it is much lighter. It also has a cherry note, which actually makes me like it more than SDJ 62.

Cherry. Moonflower. Carmelized vanilla. I don't get any coconut. Very nice, gourmand and sweet. On the light side tho! 7/10

Like Escada's Cherry in the Air, but if it got dressed up to go to the club. Addictive.

I just got this in the mail this week, (late August 2020.) This one is very nice. It's not my favorite fragrance ever. But it's pretty...and it's friendly without being shy. It's got some oomph to it. I own both "Cashmere Glow" by Bath & Body Works and I also own the "Brazilian Crush" by Sol de Janeiro. It literally smells like a mix of the two. Cashmere Glow has this sweet-milk smell with some warm amber accord....and Brazilian Crush is a heavy coconut and vanilla bomb that lasts and lasts. This smells EXACTLY like a mix of those two with a sprinkle of cherry that comes out at the initial spray. However...the cherry does not stick around on my skin. You can smell it fresh out of the bottle when you spray it but within 30 minutes...I'm left with an intense and sweet coconut/vanilla scent with a noticeable milky accord which I guess is simply the coconut and vanilla joining forces. It's thick, milky, heavily creamy. It's not the kind of coconut scent that is fresh or blue...this scent is heavy and MILKY. Very very milky...not a fresh outdoorsy, beachy type of coconut like Jennifer Aniston's "Near Dusk," or some of the "Sexy Now" editions from Victoria's Secret. I actually prefer this over Cashmere Glow...as it's just a TAD BIT less heavy and more wearable. Cashmere Glow was a little too heavy for me. Kind of like the difference between using a thick half & half in your coffee vs simply using milk for a lighter, thinner effect. I think I like this and "Brazilian Crush" equal. If you own Cashmere Glow or Brazilian Crush...you may not wanna spend your $ on this one as the only real difference is that there's that burst of cherry at initial application but it's not a "cherry" scent after the first 15-30 mins. If you're a lover of coconut, vanilla...or more specifically...a fan of the two being used together...this is absolutely a safe blind buy. If you prefer to steer clear of heavy, milky, sweet vanilla perfumes, or heavily-used coconut notes...then avoid this one. I personally don't love it...but I certainly don't dislike it either. I give it a solid 7.5/10 and I voted above with a "like." Longevity - 4 hours. (Which for a body mist...is pretty damn decent in my opinion.) Projection - Easily 3 feet at first. After about an hour...I'd say it projects about 2 feet.

I really don't get much coconut or cherry from Sunset Glow. I believe they're there, but they're so blended with the rest of the notes that I just don't get the impression of this being a coconut or a cherry scent. What I smell is a sweet, perfumey floral-fruity blend. It's very stereotypically "feminine." It's strong. If you wear this, you'll make an impression. I think this is a summery scent, but you'll want to spray sparingly, in my opinion. I could see this one becoming cloying for some people. It does smell very familiar. It's the same vibe I get from Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy (not dupes, just a similar impression). I don't think all of the notes in this fragrance are actually listed (I think Bath & Body Works only gives three or four notes for most of their scents). I expect there's some caramel in this.

super sweet cross between warm sugar and watered down coconut milk with a very faint but detectable cherry. it definitely smells synthetic but i don't mind it as soon as it settles on the skin for a while ( the first couple of sprays were full on giving warm vanilla sugar hand sanitizer). however, i find that it helps to give it a good base like applying vanilla scented body lotion or a musk oil to give it some body and character. i find it suitable for warm and gentle climate but honestly do not overspray cus it can get nauseating. somehow a very close dupe of sol de janeiro's brazilian crush cheirosa '62 but not as sickeningly sticky-sweet and dense? after a few mins it dries down to this dry almond vanilla scent. safe for the light gourmand girlies but just know how most BBW mists and perfumes perform on skin.

This was a blind buy I ordered because I'd heard so many good things about it. To be frank, I didn't fully understand why or really come to enjoy this fragrance until I realized why. This fragrance would be absolutely perfect on an evening vacation in the south west. I can easily imagine wearing this while walking down the Vegas strip at night or on an LA beach in the evening, and it would be absolutely perfect. However, my home state in the north is the complete opposite climate. It's very wet and moderate to cool on average, so this fragrance would not work quite as well up here. To me, the packaging is 100% indicative of how I feel when I smell this scent and for that reason, I've come to appreciate it. I will be wearing this one on my next Vegas vacation. Funny how fragrances can take us places.

This is one that is highly dependent on your skin chemistry, like some of the other reviews say. On me, I mostly get coconut and the caramelized vanilla; the cherry takes a backseat, but it's there out of the bottle. The coconut isn't beachy or fresh/authentic, it's a rich, sweet coconut. Same with the cherry. This scent is decadent, but not gourmand. I also don't think this is a Summer fragrance. I save this one for Fall & Winter! 😎 The colder weather brings out the sweetness even more, and for my personal taste this is too heavy for Summer (I live in the American South, so... humid). I'm so glad I was able to pick this up during the Summer SAS. This is beautiful and B&BW needs to return it to their signature line, because honestly I haven't heard anyone dislike this scent.

Sweet, light and feminine. I bought this as a gift set with a hand cream and body lotion and the packaging is just beautiful. The colors, the glitter... Top marks for presentation! I'm gifting mine on, but I couldn't resist a sniff... This to me is like if Coco Cabana by Sol De Janeiro and Cashmere Glow by B&BW had a love child. I smell creamy moon flower, milky coconut, light florals and natural vanilla. I personally don't get any cherry. This little set is really quite charming. Very girly and pretty. Perfect for all seasons and occasions, but I agree with previous users who say this is light. It smells absolutely lovely and I don't think it would offend anyone. I like it a lot!

Contrary to popular opinion, I find sweet creamy coconut scents more autumnal than summery. This is probably because our summer days are almost constantly 40+C (100+ F). I even feel that creamy Sun screens are unwearable in such temperatures and opt for gel or spray formulations. The coconut in Sunset Glow is beautiful, creamy, somewhat nutty and sweetened by vanilla. It follows a tangy sweet cherry note in the opening, which can be a bit medicinal if smelled up close. I’ll enjoy it in autumn and on the rare event of a cooler summer night 😎 but not for the beach 🏝 . It lasts around 3 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first hour; very good for a FFM.

Every once in awhile, Bath & Body Works comes up with something that's not in their current theme. Kaleidoscope was one such recent scent - and I wish they had not discontinued that one. This doesn't really fit in any current theme for B&BW, but I'm so glad they made it. It starts with a fizzy happy cherry seltzer that isn't too sweet. A light but pleasant floral joins in, and the whole thing is built on coconut - kind of a 'brown' coconut rather than a sweet white coconut. I like it very much and will get it in moisturizing shower cream. This would be a delight in the shower.

One of B&BWs more perfumy scents. It is ia sexy and unique scent but I cannot pick up any other scent notes besides coconut and vanilla. But it does have a depth again with a compound I cannot name. It`s a warm, slightly sultry, sexy scent that does last all day. Whenever I pick this up I realize how good this actually is. It ́s never my first choice when I decide what to wear for the day, but when I pick it up for reviews or something like this it`s mindblowingly good. I was just hoping for more cherry, that would have make this scent even more amazing.

Not many scents stay on mine skin in the heat. I sweat A LOT. This is the only fragrance that melts into my skin and stays even when im sweating! I like the smell... Its cherry vanilla all the way but once I've been sweating its a nutty coconut with a kiss of cherry and a hug of vanilla. Since it likes me so much ill keep buying it. I wish others would blend well with my sweaty chemistry, this so far, is the only one that sticks to me and doesnt sweat right off.

Not a mist person, but I am starting on collecting body mist. The coconut is dominant and it smells creamy. Doesn't smell like a body mist, for me, this is like perfume. I had 5-6 spritz before going to work and guess what, the smell stays till the evening (i am wearing this in winter season)

i can't detect any coconut in this, cherry liqueur is very obvious. At first it smelled too sugary to me and I didn't like it but as I used it it smelled better. it's sweet and a bit heavy. exact summer scent but may not appeal to everyone. Longevity is moderate for a body spray

I LOVE THIS ONE!!! AHH OMG! This is basically Cheriosa 62 with slightly less pistachio tbh. A true dupe. It lasted about 4 hrs without layering. I'm sure once I get the lotion, it'll last even longer. I'm so happy to have found it, now I'm gonna try to stock up lol.

creamy coconut with a hint of vanilla, lovely and warm, I declutter most of my BBW fine fragrance mists but not this one, the sillage and longevity is weak just like most ffm, I tend to use this one as my pillow and blanket spray

Smells like sweet cherry and a whisper of coconut. Kinda reminds me of the smell of shampoo?

This does not smell like Sol de Janeiro 62. When I got into the store and smelled it, I was quite disappointed. People on tik tok enjoy lying. It doesn't have a nutty caramel scent to it.

Blind bought Sunset Glow in the form of body cream because I looove the bum bum cream and Cheirosa 62 mist, but SG is too sweet for me. I also tried the OGX coconut miracle oil, which is also a well-known dupe, and although they both do smell similar to the bum bum cream, there is something way too artificial in them (at least to my nose). Good thing I did not order this in the body mist as well, as I initially planned to. I was also eager to try Snowflakes&Cashmere, but now I am hesitant. If that one is gonna be as sweet as this one, then no thank you

There is no coconut it's only rooted vanilla, it smells like spa candles. I have it as a body mist, it's disappointing. I expected more coconutty more sweetness, but I found an air refresher smell like an artificial one

old burnt nutty buttery sugar. may or may not smell like the boom boom cream, I dont know, have never tried it. almost a gourmand treat but there is a nutty aspect that I dont love.

I agree, it is sinister! It smells just like you took the bum bum cream and left it in the sun for a week, then combined it with sand and dust!

There is a bitter almond note that's all I can smell in this body mist

OK, I liked it at first, but after about 5 minutes, it made me nauseous!!! And seriously, it would not wash off!! OF COURSE, the one scent I HATE from BBW, has the best silage and lasting time! 🤣 Someone else wrote a review on their website saying it had a lasting "sinister" smell!😂 And I agree! I don't know if they changed the formula in summer of 2023, but dang, this is......just weird.... and gross! 🤢
