Sweater Weather

I've been on a Bath and body works binge here lately. Buying body sprays, as they're cheap and some are very good. If I blind buy one and don't like it, I don't feel so bad because of the price. I think I'm done with paying for more expensive fragrances. I've got a couple of them, that I'll always buy but that's it for the pricey stuff. I've decided to fill out the rest of my cologne wardrobe with stuff like this. I really like this, and have been wearing it all week. It isn't a beast in projecting but I usually don't like beast mode fragrances to begin with. And I get probably 4-6 hours with this. Unusual for a body spray. This is very pleasant and light and refreshing. You basically get apple and "green" notes. Pretty simple note wise. To me it's unisex. I see nothing wrong with a guy wearing this. If you prefer more masculine scents this may not be for you. But it does the job for me. I'm well pleased with this and will be buying more.

i’m so in love with this body mist, so upset that it’s discontinued. i have never smelled something that’s given me such visceral feelings of pure joy. so fresh and clean and apple-y. it’s so comforting, it literally smells the way it feels to wear a sweater. the name is perfect. it doesn’t last very long on my skin or clothes and the projection isn’t very long, but it smells so amazing that i don’t even care. i want to say this perfume is unisex because it honestly doesn’t smell like a typical perfume made for either men or women, it smells more like a scent you’d find in a candle. which, i love that about it. i miss this so much.

I adore this fragrance! It is very versatile, can be worn by a man or a woman, day or night! Definitely a fall and winter scent. Fresh crisp apples mixed with crunchy fall leaves! For a body spray, it lasts a significant amount of time... But as with all Body and body Works fragrances, it will last longest and project the farthest if layered with the shower gel and lotion. I have the body cream and the spray, and the two of them together give me a good solid 6-8 hours of fragrance without being cloying. I just love it!

I really like Sweater Weather! First there was a candle and then the bath and body products came along. It's a unisex scent and a fresh, appley, crowd pleaser. My current go-to B&BW mash up scent is wearing the fine fragrance mists of Sweater Weather, Pumpkin Apple, and Bonfire Bash together. This combo smells so nice! P.s. I usually pick up the travel sizes of the FFM for free using their coupons. It's a great way to try something new without spending any money.

One of the best versions of crisp green orchard apple since it's mixed with some woods and solar notes and orchid. It is related to Orchid by Zara. But Sweater Weather by BBW is better. It's not long lasting as a body mist spray but it's not totally fleeting. One of the best fragrance mists from BBW in my opinion. On my skin, there's even a warm apple pie note as I layered Sweater Weather cream with the FFM spray.

This fragrance feels like waking up at 6am stepping out of the warm home and being hit in the face by the cold fall air, ice covering the grass and the sun shines between the decaying leaves. Definitely a unisex scent. I’ve worn this fragrance in the spring & summer. But this is one of those late August-early November scents. I receive a lot of compliments wearing this one!

This smells incredible after getting it home my husband loved the smell to so I told him to try it so he has been wearing it to and gets lots of compliments. Last all day on us. So in our opinion it's a unisex scent. A must have for all go out and get it you wont be sorry!! Remember fragrances don't have genders wear what you like!

Very pronounced apple in the beginning, then settles after ~10 seconds into a woody, masculine scent. Soft and very nice. Can't smell much orchid (unless they mean orchid woods in the notes) but can definitely smell the solar notes. Great daytime and nighttime fragrance.

I much prefer the old formulation with sage, eucalyptus and woods. I still have the foaming hand soap in this formulation, purchased last year, and a wallflower. The scent is perfectly unisex, calming and magical. One of Bath and Body Works' new classics, imo.

If you like aqua di gioia give this a try. It’s clean cozy cool and crisp. Gives me the vibe of a cool crisp early fall morning. To me it’s unisex but leans feminine. I enjoy this one very much.

I got a lot of compliments wearing this one. It smells like evergreens & fall leaves & apples on a crips fall morning, & clean laundry. I also sometimes get a subtle apple cider vibe from it.

Love this. Smells like an apple orchard. I think the notes are from an earlier version bc the one I got in 2025 smells like apples, wood, and leaves.

One of my favorites scents, sweet yet some how clean and fresh as well. Also enjoy that its feminine but not overly feminine

This smells like you went camping in a tent by an autumn lake, but you forgot your jacket and you have to wear your boyfriend's sweater. If you're buying it blind you should know it's a fresh scent and not a cozy one! There's no sweetness and It's very much cool outdoors smell Now about the notes...the apple note is pretty light and whatever is there is a fresh, green apple as opposed to a juicy, sweet red one. It's mostly the woods and leaves notes that make up the fragrance, the leaves in particular giving it a green vibe. It' s absolutely a unisex scent and also is suuuuper similar to Oriflame's Nordic Waters for him, which I also consider unisex and have worn even though it's for men. So if you want a perfume version of sweater weather you should definitely give it a try. If you like it, but wish it was sweeter, I tried pairing it with the snowflakes and cashmere lotion and they go really well together, as it's very woodsy too, but it also has a sweet vanilla note. Overall I like it, but I also enjoy more masculine and fresh fragrances in general. If you don't then I'd say it's probably not for you.

(This is for last years version in faceted bottle. Seems this has gone through another reformulation recently so im reviewing one that i have.) This is a pure fresh scent. I struggled wearing this in colder temps and it’s put me off alittle trying to wear it. This suits me way better in hotter temperatures, and this mist is absolutely BEAST mode. One of the best bbw mists for longevity ever. This lasted all day. And the next day is still on my shirt. The sillage starts off strong then moderate. The notes on my bottle are: Sun Crisped Apple, Autumn Leaves and Orchard Woods. It’s weird that these notes aren’t familiar with my nose. I cannot smell any apple in this. Kinda smell like, solar and green notes in this. Maybe it’s the “Sun” and “leaves” wording in this fragrance. I’m really impressed with this fragrance mist. I didn’t care for it much in colder temps but in 103 - 107 degree weather, this is incredible.

one of my comfort scents. I have the 2025 version and it's really good. It smells like red apples, with some really faint notes of wood. It's fresh, feminine and is made for autumn. It really fits into the Down Town Autumn Girl aesthetic tbh. Also, it reminds me of vampire teenage shows. However, there are some cons to it as well: if sprayed a lot can feel intoxicanting, which doesn't really happen to me when i for exemple overspay other non b&b body mists or any other perfume; it's hard to find in other season other than fall, for it's seasonal and usually hard to find in Europe (or at least in my country). also I heard that b&b are quite toxic but idrk. Wouldn't recommend blind buy even tho it's good. God bless, my friend 🫶

This is an ok scent, I used this scent for the past 2 months and really enjoyed it. It has a crisp fragrance to it, it is a well blended fragrance to the point where you can’t decipher what’s what but in a pleasant way. Upon first spray, it’s mostly an alcohol scent. The apple and green leaves are the most prominent notes to me, though it is not a fruity smell like the one that usually comes in with the apple note, it smells like a rainy and windy autumn day. The downsides to it are the sillage and lasting power. This perfume carries little to no sillage, and it’s lasting power as well is little to nothing, usually lasts 30 minutes to an hour on me. Overall, it is an ok fragrance but nothing to write home about.

The apple in this is faint. I spray it on and it disappears after a few seconds. What remains is a clean, masculine scent that reminds me of a certain perfume that I can't quite remember the name of. It's like an earthy, kind of soapy men's perfume. The drydown is a strong woody and green. There really is nothing fruity in this whatsoever. It's a fragrance that I'd love to smell on someone else, just like Ivory Cashmere. This is great for people who adore scents that resemble clean laundry. It also is better worn in warmer weather. I give this a 7/10 simply because it's a good fresh scent.

This is a super comforting scent, but I don't think I'll ever wear this out because for some reason to my nose it smells like apple scented laundry that's still a little damp (i think it's coming from the leaf note), which throws me off a little. Other than that, it's nice, my brother was obsessed with this for a while he even stole my bottle of it in high school. It's perfect for a rainy day or when you're just feeling more dull than normal.

Sweet, sparkly apple notes in the first spray, then it evolves into a lower note that does feel like a windy autumn kind of scent. Doesn't hang on for too long, but another spray is easy pick it up. The apple is always noticeable for me.

It's a very fresh fragrance. I would equate this more as a summer/spring fragrance and not for the cold season. Not for a sweater weather. It's a unisex fragrance.

This smells like a crispy October morning, the sun is rising and warming up the overnight dew. Fresh, apple, and solar notes is what I pick up in SW.

Smells like Old Spice Fuji scent. More masculine leaning, a fresh light scent that I like!

Personal: 5.5/10 – Crisp, fresh, and outdoorsy. Leans way too heavily into synthetic greens for me. Mass appeal: 8/10 – Fresh “fall air” vibes are easy to enjoy, very approachable, though cloying. Performance: 4/10 – Weak, fleeting, typical for a mist. Value: 7.5/10 – Affordable and fun for autumn, but the synthetic nature is a bit much. Uniqueness: 5/10 – Green apple, woods, and air-freshener vibes aren’t groundbreaking. SCORE: 60/100 Full bottle buy? YES, as a seasonal mist, but only if it doesn't induce headaches. Blind buy? It's a cold weather fragrance, but it smells fresh and cold, which is unique as compared to most cold weather fragrances, which lean into warmer notes to contrast the weather. I'm using the 2025 version, not sure if it's the same but repackaged. The notes are crisp apple, leaves, and woods. I got this because I fell in love with the candle. I burnt it during the winter months in a woodsy city while playing horror games that also suit the forest. It goes really well with those memories, but it's not all nostalgia bias. Based on the notes (sage, junpier, eucalyptus, woods) I'd think I would want a pine or spruce scent more, those still have a place in my heart, but this one holds it's own and fits the same vibe perfectly. I picked up the moisturizer and body spray version, it does not hold it's own. Don't get me wrong, it's a cozy scent to wrap yourself in, but doesn't even begin to hold a light to the candle. It has apple, why doesn't it have juniper? Or any of the other notes except the woods? This version is fruitier and less winter, more fall. It's fine, I guess, huge disappointment though. Wouldn't repurchase and would have no qualms giving it away if someone, even someone I hated, liked it more than I do.

Key notes: apple slices, blue skies, and fresh breeze. I’ve heard that the winter edition of Sweater Weather is better than the fall edition, but I can’t say anything since I don’t own the fall edition. Sweater Weather is a clean yet pungent fragrance. Hands down it’s unisex. The “fresh breeze” note makes the fragrance airy, I’m guessing? The apple slices give an edge of tart that blends well with the “blue skies.” What does blue skies smell like, you ask? I don’t know. I guess overtly musky? I didn’t know colors had smell up to this point. Sweater Weather honestly isn’t my cup of tea, but I can totally understand where someone might like it. There’s a muskiness to it that I don’t enjoy, unfortunately.

For me this is way too apple-scented. I knew it had apple in it, but I thought they could do it better. The opening was quite fresh and full of red apple scent, it dried down in a sweet apple scent that was barely noticable on me after a few minutes. It has a wet autumn leaves note to it, but only slightly in the background. I wish that would be more prominent. If you are looking for a less appley but amazing crisp autumny scent, try Victoria`s Secret "Lost in a Daydream" instead.

This used to be so unisex and slightly masculine leaning, I'm so sad they reformulated this. I remember getting this and the clerk warning me that this was "very masculine" and asking me if I was sure if I wanted it. So I bought 3 more. I'm running out of my last bottle. Oh well. I've moved on to better things than cheap bath and body works sprays. You will be missed, but I will also never turn back.

Honestly, this is a really nice fragrance. It's nice and good for the fall to winter transition, this fragrance IS the November days just before December. The only reason it's "okay" to me is because I ever so wish it was the fragrance of the soap and candle! I want juniper, eucalyptus, and sage! Honestly, get the room spray and spray it on your collar, bra, or undershirt, and smell like it instead.

to me this smells like laundry, which is okay, just not what i think it should smell like. the candle version and room spray of this scent is 100x better :(

For me, this is a VERY masculine scent! I bought the entire collection on sale blind, and I ended up giving it all to my husband! He actually really likes it! And I like it on him! I just figured out what it reminds me of......Cool Water from back in the day! It's not EXACTLY that, but gives me those vibes. A 2000's guys cologne. Which I DON'T hate! So if you're a "girly girl" who likes girly scents, this one isn't for you. But maybe one for your man's! 😄

I did not like this at all. It has this onion-like scent to it. Like what your hands smell like after handling an onion. I got this gifted to me as a birthday present and I ended up giving it to my fiance cause he loved it.

This is a very masculine scent. My coworkers who smelled it in the bottle agreed as well. It’s too clean smelling, like linen hanging out to dry in the sun, to be a “fall” scent. I can’t stand the clean soap smell of it.

Guys, it’s back. I’m only here because I have it in my cart but never tried it before. I ended up buying it and I’ll leave an actual review when it arrives. Edit: Ok, so it arrived and idk. I think I like it........(?), but then there’s a note here that turns sour on my skin. Like a metallic sour ice cream melting on the street kind of smell. I wanted to love this so badly, but I’m probably going to return it or exchange it for something I like. It might be my body chemistry because sometimes notes with tart and sour fruit smell like sour ice cream on me and I just realized green apple is a note in this. The sour milk is weird considering there’s no lactonic notes Edit 2: Yea, so I’m returning this it stinks.

Funny story I was walking my dog and there was a old dirty bottle laying in the dirt by the road and I picked it up and I literally had to scrape off the dirt to see what fragrance it was but I knew it was a Bath & Body Works body mist but I wasn't sure what fragrance it was and then I read it was Sweater Weather. The bottle was so beat up the bottom was even broken off but I wanted to try it so bad I wanted to see if there was one extra squirt in there and damn it there was a few squirts 😃 so I actually got to use this without reading any reviews and to me it smells like pears. Fruity. I like it, but I'm not a fan anymore of body sprays they just don't last long on my skin and I don't like to have to reapply it but this one is really nice I like the solar notes in it anything with solar notes in it I love solar notes. So I'll probably be getting this during the winter of 2023.Safe, soft and inoffensive. Happy weekend 💜💜💜

I'm in bath and body works not super often but somewhat often and have sniffed this a few times and its just never appealed to me. So this past wknd I went for the lotion sale and tested this mist and couldn't figure out if I liked it. So I had a coupon for a free gift so I got the mini mist in this scent so I decided to also got the body cream. Now its too hot this wknd where I live to test this one but I keep sniffing it from the tube and can't wait to give it a full test. This kind of reminds me of the Aeropostale scent "promise me" I've come to love after blind buying it. It has apple and also like this abercrombie smell from like the 2000's. I love wearing it in fall and colder weather, its cozy but still fresh so that's what this seems to be. I haven't even tested the lotion yet but we'll see. I may even try layering the lotion with Aeropostale "promise me". Fall please hurry!!

My first impression so far is sweater weather seems to be an apple scent with a very mildew note. I'm not sure if I'm picking up the "solar" note but whatever it is it's very similar to a type of smell associated with garbage bales. A certain wetness that garbage can emit. I'm not sure if I like this one. If it grows on me and the wet/mildew smell notes improve I will update. I might return this one.

I bought the fall edition and smells like fall and apples but I don’t reach for it much. I pick up a very salty note that just doesn’t mix. I use it to layer with other fall fragrances. I wonder if the winter version is better as other reviews mention below.

It was a blind buy for me, safe but not exceptional. I've had the aqua de gioa but its nothing like it. Perhaps I got bbw's new formulation with less the woody and herbal notes, just really pure apple with alcohol. It's something will not repeat buying.

This to me has such a scent memory of one of the 1999-2003 years body fantasies mists from Victoria’s Secret. If anyone knows which one please share but the woody note especially just smells like early 2000’s vibes.

I keep seeing this framed as a negative: but yes, it does smell like a B&BW fall candle, at least in the older formulation. This is a good thing.

this is fresh-outdoorsy vs. fresh-clean. you definitely get fresh apple and musk, not sweet or tart. absolutely unisex, masculine leaning.

Just a little review to share that SWEATER WEATHER reminds me a little of Tocca COLLETTE and also Byredo GYPSY WATER.

This scent is very nice. It is also a bit on the masculine side. Almost like a unisex scent.
