Sweet Petal Pound Cake

I love this scent! I'm from Canada, so we didn't get this fragrance here, but I was so interested that I ordered it online from the US and it is an amazing blind buy! I thought I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I did because everyone online said it smells just like another rosy/raspberry scent. But, the cake note is so prominent. It smells mostly like a sweet vanilla cake with a hint of roses and raspberry. I can't specifically detect the rose and raspberry, I mostly get a "pink" note that reminds me of a simple pink vanilla cake. It's just a really pretty, pink, girly gourmand. The cream and the fragrance mist lasts hours on skin and clothes. Also, this layers SO well with Viva La Juicy!

I am a very gourmand girl and never gravitate towards florals outside of jasmine, but this one is good. It's a perfect blend of rose and cake, and I get an even amount of both enough for it to feel very light but gourmand and perfect. I think it's even perfect for year round, but it shines in spring. For summer, I prefer bright juicy scents but this could definitely work, just for a lighter perfume day. On drydown, it turns more cakey but on first spray it's definitely a stronger rose. I really like this!

This is such a lovely scent. It's not a full on Gourmand scent but there is a cake note you can definitely smell. The rose here is luckily really subtle, you can only get an idea of something floral happening. Which is great as floral scents and rose scents make me nauseous. It's sweet and somewhat sultry and it's super long lasting. I sprayed this on my PJ before going to bed and I can still smell it in the morning. Such a lovely, pretty, scent which gives me Barbie vibes.

This scent is one of my new favorites! I agree with a lot of the users who say they can’t smell any of the Poundcake. I think “Sweet Petal” would’ve been a more apt name for this fragrance. It smells like Delina’s little sister. The rose note isn’t super sharp and the scent in whole is very fresh and not overbearing. It’s definitely perfect for these hot summer days.

I recently bought sweet petal pound cake as a blind buy and I'm liking it more and more. I get rose mixed with raspberry, but no pound cake. It's a sweet, beautiful, sugary, floral fragrance. The only downside for me, is that it's super light and fades quickly.

They need to bring this back, keep it always on sale, and don't change anything about it!

Blind buy because it’s not available in my country, I was interested on the super cute packaging, it looks great together with Strawberry pound cake from the same design. I’m aware from the reviews that this is more floral gourmand, I love gourmand but also love light floral and rose, not heavy floral, and this one is right on my alley. It’s light, very sweet but not much like usual gourmand scent, the floral and berries aren’t sharp, it’s soft, inoffensive, a beautiful scent. With 2-3 sprays it’s close to the skin, doesn’t last on my skin but nothing last on my skin. On my clothes thou I could still smell it even after the next morning. Ocassionally I got whift of sweet scent, better than bbw weaker ffm and some edts

fragrance notes: candied rose, raspberry swirl and frosted bundt cake I was expecting this to have that pound cake note like strawberry pound cake.. but it has no scent anywhere near cake/vanilla. It smells rosey and a tad of raspberry but not in a good way at all. But that’s just my opinion. 100% no where near gourmand. It does smell like baby powder, and personally makes me nauseous. I wish they would’ve had this in stores for us to smell first because since it’s an online exclusive, we’re all blind buying and lots of people are returning it. personal score: 3.5/10 🌹

I’ve revisited this scent after not liking it at the beginning of my fragrance journey. I now love this! To me, i would definitely consider this a floral gourmand. I can smell a sugary rose with vanilla glaze on top, not necessarily cake. Iced lemon pound cake has a prominent cake note that you can almost taste. I do not really smell raspberry honestly. And the rose comes across a bit baby powder-y. All that aside, I love the name, the packaging, and I will be sad when my one bottle of sweet petal pound cake is finished.

Just blind bought this during the sale and got it for around $4. Definitely a very rosy scent that's a little powdery. I can't detect too much 'pound cake' personally, but overall it's not too bad. Pairing it with the matching lotion, the pound cake notes come out a little better and smells like a floral spring dessert. Suitable for summer as well. Imagine someone's kooky aunt experimenting with rose petals and dried raspberries making a vanilla cake out of them, and this is what you'd get.

Fun, fragrant, and long-lasting! I am impressed with how well this body mist stays with you! My last application was 4 hours ago, and it still has a nice, moderate silage. The fragrance is uplifting for me because I love rosy-gourmands. Plus, it doesn't have that heavy, hazelnut scent that some of B&BW 'cake' fragrances have. This is a winner! My nose is able to detect all of the notes listed--this was a great blind buy for me!

This is not Pink Petal Tea Cake, the candle. It is raspberry sweet with a hint of rose. The scent is a tiny bit sophisticated and unique but with all things BBW mist, the scent does not last very long. It is a very sweet fruity scent and less gourmand. Great for layering.

I’m not normally a big fan of scents that smell like any kind of food; but this is lovely. I mainly get frosted cake with a backdrop of juicy raspberry and a fresh rose. It doesn’t smell overly synthetic. The body cream is great for layering with other sweet scents.

More perfumy version of La nuit trésor Nude from Lancôme as they are both very similar. I get no cake notes but a sugary rose with some raspberry. Sweet Petal Pound Cake performs like an EDT even if it's just a body mist.

This one took time to grow on me. Smells like a rose dipped in sugar. Very cozy honestly. I love to wear it on a night inside

I recently picked this up during the SaS at BBW. I thought, with the name of this mist, that I would love it; raspberry poundcake with a little rose to round it out? Sounds lovely right? This is NOT that. This mist is ROSE with a hint of raspberry sweetness. NO cake. Nothing gourmand at all. Unfortunately I purchased the shower gel, lotion and mist, layering does give a little longevity but this is not a scent that I gravitate towards. I will try to use this up by layering something on top of it to reduce the floral aspects but in the end this was a fail for me. If anyone has any suggestions for layering to make this a bit more gourmand please let me know!

Lacking in the cake department its missing the usual pound cake element its more so floral, had I known that I wouldn't have bought this. However its still cute,not super sweet its more perfumey than anything but it doesn't smell cheap so thats good. Im not happy but Im not disappointed either its just okay nothing id rave about.

It starts of with that very sweet raspberry scent that reminds me of the bitterness of flavoured children's medicine I took when I was a kid. Not recommended for those who have the same trauma. Edit: 3 hours into it, I'm loving the dry down. It's a warm gourmand, a little vanilla-ish. I think it's the cake note.
