Sweetest Song

Umm... wait... I love this... It's tart, but the musk makes it softer. Wearing this makes me feel like a nymph washing their hair in a clear mountain stream surrounded by raspberry bushes. Which sounds stupid. Because it is stupid. I promised myself I wouldn't become one of those perfume people who talks in abstract concepts like that. But here I am. Do not even get me started on the fact it comes in a music box.

Something about this is soapy sweet. It reminds me of Bombshell by VS mixed with Ari by Ariana Grande. It smells very innocent, sweet, and clean - like floral sheets with plush satin pink comforter. I’m wearing it to my best friend’s wedding, an upcoming picnic, and a wine tasting.

the edp version of sweetest song is the same review i have on the fmf page but the raspberries is more vibrant and stronger in this parfum and the peppery note is a lost cause since i dont smell it.

If ‘cute’ was a scent, it would be this one! The vintage Rococo-inspired labelling and the music box that comes as a perfume set screams coquette to me 🌸💐🎀👛🩰

This is nice! As expected I'm getting sweet, sugared raspberries. Synthetic and a little soapy, but clean and fresh, and somehow still strikes me as gourmand. To me it's a happy scent perfect for Spring, but it might be a little too "juvenile" for some. I don't think any fragrance should have an enforced age range but at the same time I wouldn't blind buy unless you know you like a sugary, fruity scent. The B&BW page lists "whipped musk" rather than "whipped cream" but there is some whipped cream on the graphic listing the notes. I really only get a little bit of this "whipped musk" in the dry down on the skin, which is a little less soapy and less overtly fruity, as if the whole scent softens and becomes just slightly lactonic. It has decent staying power. Nothing crazy, but I sprayed some as I was going to sleep and I could still smell it a little in the morning. I got a travel size of the perfume but I think I'll also get the mist because the pink bottle is so cute ETA: I smelled Mugler Angel Nova for the first time the other day and this honestly smells a little bit similar. Sweetest Song is more sugary, synthetic, and less complex, but they're honestly not that far off. I wish I had some Angel Nova to compare them side by side, but still, if you don't want to pay a ton for Angel Nova this could potentially be a good alternative Never mind, I just saw that the full size of this is $75 dollars, and you can get a full size tester of Angel Nova for not much more... I haven't yet smelled the Sweetest Song mist so I'm not sure if it does smells the same, but if it does, I guess that would be more fitting for a cheaper alternative
