Sweetheart Cherry

I'm on the fence about this one. I wholeheartedly adore the way it smells in every single way, but it doesn't seem to last long enough for me. It's kind of been sitting here in my room untouched until I decide if I'm going to exchange it or gift it. Someone said it smells like cherry Poptarts and I haven't been able to smell anything else ever since. Pure heaven! Smelling like a cherry pastry is totally my vibe, but again, I'm sitting here smelling it and just thinking I'd rather go exchange for a backup of one of the sprays that I love or a new lotion. The cherry is so deliciously sweet and fresh. It's like no other cherry fragrance that they've put out before, aside from Sugared Cherry Crisp, but that smelled more like cherry pie and I hope that they bring it back! It seems like a lot of people didn't really care for that one, though, but maybe I'm wrong? The nuttiness from the pistachio is what seems to give off the impression of the smell of a golden flaky crust from a cherry pastry. The touch of vanilla is like the homemade icing on top. It all comes together so beautifully. If sol de janeiro's frags smell anything like this I'm going to have to try more of them. I have only ever owned the Coco Cabana that is discontinued and I am a fan. As I'm smelling my wrist, the heavenly poptart scent is already starting to fade away quickly. Maybe if I bought the lotion to pair it with I would change my mind? I'm kind of stumped on what to do. I want to be able to smell like this so badly! Does anyone know a perfume that smells similar to Sweetheart Cherry? Edit: I think I'm going to keep it. I was going to exchange it but they will probably just throw it away or something. I love the smell, I'll just have to keep respraying it when it disappears.

This one hits you with pure nostalgia right from the first spray - it's like opening a pack of that tube bubble gum (Tubble Gum Cherry) we used to get as kids in the 90s. That sweet, artificial cherry scent is so spot-on. But here's the thing - it doesn't stay that way. Within seconds, it mellows out into a unique vanilla with these subtle woody notes and pistachio-like quality. It's such an interesting transformation from playful to sophisticated. The projection isn't crazy strong, which honestly makes me want to keep reapplying just to get that initial Tubble Gum Cherry hit again. There's something addictive about that opening. The dry down is lovely too though - grown-up enough that I don't feel silly wearing it throughout the day. My only "meh" is the new packaging. The old bottle design was so much better. New version looks like it's wrapped in that elementary school craft paper we used to cover our textbooks with - very school supply vibes... So long story short, I ended up buying the full size as a backup, which tells you how much I love this scent. I'm just waiting for fall to roll around again so I can really enjoy wearing it.

When the fragrance is first applied, it smells reminiscent of the mouthwatering sweetness of a cherry lollipop, juicy and bright, yet never cloying. The opening feels youthful and carefree. As it begins to settle, the heart of the fragrance unfolds, revealing creamy layers of vanilla intertwined with the subtle nuttiness of pistachio, creating a delicious balance of warmth and sophistication. In its final dry-down, the scent becomes a velvety embrace of rich vanilla with a hint of tonka bean. It’s an intoxicatingly cozy finish, perfect for layering with other gourmand fragrances such as Black Opium. Though the fragrance itself is a sensorial delight, its staying power leaves something to be desired, as it fades after about 3 to 4 hours on me. Still, for the price, it offers a delectable journey that feels worth savoring while it lasts.

It took them sooooo long to finally get sweetheart cherry on here!, probably one of my favorite scents that bath & body works has EVER put out, and that's coming from a girl who's 99% of their fragrance collection is bath & Body works, at first spray you get a strong juicy, non synthetic cherry scent, but not a medicine kind, then 20 seconds after you start getting the pistachio not which sort of dominates the cherry a bit but I don't mind!, then you also get a bit of the vanilla in here, which reminds me of a cherry pistachio ice cream or something, also reminds me on the dry down a bit of sol de janeiro cheirosa 62 just with an added cherry and vanilla note, bath & Body works should release gourmands more often, they're one of my favorite categories!

I LOVE this scent. It is the perfect Valentine's Day fragrance, and can weirdly work in both winter and spring. It's also great for daily wear, and you can just spray it on whenever you need a little something. It lasts quite long on clothes, like a few hours, and has pretty good sillage. Not so much that it chokes people out, but enough that if you walk by someone, they're going to smell it! It is a lovely syrupy sweet cherry (not cough syrup, but more of a cherry syrup), with the nutty and creamy pistachio, and a touch of vanilla. Super unique, especially for BBW. There's no other scent at BBW or anywhere else I can think of that has this same profile. Love it!
