Sweetheart Cherry

I'm on the fence about this one. I wholeheartedly adore the way it smells in every single way, but it doesn't seem to last long enough for me. It's kind of been sitting here in my room untouched until I decide if I'm going to exchange it or gift it. Someone said it smells like cherry Poptarts and I haven't been able to smell anything else ever since. Pure heaven! Smelling like a cherry pastry is totally my vibe, but again, I'm sitting here smelling it and just thinking I'd rather go exchange for a backup of one of the sprays that I love or a new lotion. The cherry is so deliciously sweet and fresh. It's like no other cherry fragrance that they've put out before, aside from Sugared Cherry Crisp, but that smelled more like cherry pie and I hope that they bring it back! It seems like a lot of people didn't really care for that one, though, but maybe I'm wrong? The nuttiness from the pistachio is what seems to give off the impression of the smell of a golden flaky crust from a cherry pastry. The touch of vanilla is like the homemade icing on top. It all comes together so beautifully. If sol de janeiro's frags smell anything like this I'm going to have to try more of them. I have only ever owned the Coco Cabana that is discontinued and I am a fan. As I'm smelling my wrist, the heavenly poptart scent is already starting to fade away quickly. Maybe if I bought the lotion to pair it with I would change my mind? I'm kind of stumped on what to do. I want to be able to smell like this so badly! Does anyone know a perfume that smells similar to Sweetheart Cherry? Edit: I think I'm going to keep it. I was going to exchange it but they will probably just throw it away or something. I love the smell, I'll just have to keep respraying it when it disappears.

This one hits you with pure nostalgia right from the first spray - it's like opening a pack of that tube bubble gum (Tubble Gum Cherry) we used to get as kids in the 90s. That sweet, artificial cherry scent is so spot-on. But here's the thing - it doesn't stay that way. Within seconds, it mellows out into a unique vanilla with these subtle woody notes and pistachio-like quality. It's such an interesting transformation from playful to sophisticated. The projection isn't crazy strong, which honestly makes me want to keep reapplying just to get that initial Tubble Gum Cherry hit again. There's something addictive about that opening. The dry down is lovely too though - grown-up enough that I don't feel silly wearing it throughout the day. My only "meh" is the new packaging. The old bottle design was so much better. New version looks like it's wrapped in that elementary school craft paper we used to cover our textbooks with - very school supply vibes... So long story short, I ended up buying the full size as a backup, which tells you how much I love this scent. I'm just waiting for fall to roll around again so I can really enjoy wearing it.

When the fragrance is first applied, it smells reminiscent of the mouthwatering sweetness of a cherry lollipop, juicy and bright, yet never cloying. The opening feels youthful and carefree. As it begins to settle, the heart of the fragrance unfolds, revealing creamy layers of vanilla intertwined with the subtle nuttiness of pistachio, creating a delicious balance of warmth and sophistication. In its final dry-down, the scent becomes a velvety embrace of rich vanilla with a hint of tonka bean. It’s an intoxicatingly cozy finish, perfect for layering with other gourmand fragrances such as Black Opium. Though the fragrance itself is a sensorial delight, its staying power leaves something to be desired, as it fades after about 3 to 4 hours on me. Still, for the price, it offers a delectable journey that feels worth savoring while it lasts.

It took them sooooo long to finally get sweetheart cherry on here!, probably one of my favorite scents that bath & body works has EVER put out, and that's coming from a girl who's 99% of their fragrance collection is bath & Body works, at first spray you get a strong juicy, non synthetic cherry scent, but not a medicine kind, then 20 seconds after you start getting the pistachio not which sort of dominates the cherry a bit but I don't mind!, then you also get a bit of the vanilla in here, which reminds me of a cherry pistachio ice cream or something, also reminds me on the dry down a bit of sol de janeiro cheirosa 62 just with an added cherry and vanilla note, bath & Body works should release gourmands more often, they're one of my favorite categories!

I LOVE this scent. It is the perfect Valentine's Day fragrance, and can weirdly work in both winter and spring. It's also great for daily wear, and you can just spray it on whenever you need a little something. It lasts quite long on clothes, like a few hours, and has pretty good sillage. Not so much that it chokes people out, but enough that if you walk by someone, they're going to smell it! It is a lovely syrupy sweet cherry (not cough syrup, but more of a cherry syrup), with the nutty and creamy pistachio, and a touch of vanilla. Super unique, especially for BBW. There's no other scent at BBW or anywhere else I can think of that has this same profile. Love it!

I bought many bottles of Sweetheart Cherry Body Mist and the bath products too; I wish they'd make this one in EDT. My favorite scent is Escada Cherry in the Air, but it is long discontinued and Escada's new cherry edt is nothing like it! Was thrilled to find Sweetheart Cherry to be a bit similar, non-floral crisp cool somewhat sour cherry scent and not at all too sweet, to my nose at least. Unfortunately, it lasts about a minute!!! It does dry down to a pleasant vanilla, and maybe pistachio?? kind of thing. I still use it like crazy and enjoy it while I can. * though it lasting ability is poor, I do love how it smells, so rated "love"

This is my favorite scent they've made in a long time. I even bought backups during the February FFM sale because I was worried they'd stop selling it after Valentine's Day. I'm so glad they didn't! It reminds me of one of those chocolates with syrup, nuts and a maraschino cherry inside. There are no chocolate notes listed but that is how edible this fragrance is. It lasts pretty long for a FFM too, if I spray it on my clothes they'll still smell like it the next day. You can basically recreate it by layering Fine'ry's Not Another Cherry and Pistachio Please. It's perfect for a date night or going out for drinks with friends!

Absolutely divine! The cherry note is delicious and sweet. On the dry down I get that fluffy whipped vanilla and a slightly nutty pistachio. This scent reminds me of SDJ 62 but take out the salt note and add maraschino cherry. I bought the body mist and realized it doesn't really last so I got the body cream and a few backup mists. I find myself overspraying because the longevity is lacking. Projection is okay but this scent benefits a lot from layering. Some good layering combos are Fine'ry Not Another Cherry, Al Rehab Choco Musk or even the SDJ Bum Bum cream as a base for the mist.

This smells how I was hoping it would based off the notes. Some people are comparing it to SDJ 62, and I agree to a certain extent. It retains the sweet nutty quality that 62 has, with a sweet and tangy cherry note. I don't find it that close to sunset glow, even though that one is often compared to 62, and has a cherry note. There's something in Sunset glow that bothers me, so I never fully enjoyed it. I guess it just depends which aspect of these fragrances you like the most. Personally, Sweetheart Cherry does it for me and it's a beautifully done gourmand.

Usually I stay away from cherry scents because it can come off medicinal but this one is so different! It takes me back to when I was a kid and used those garnier for kids shampoo (the one shaped like a fish). The opening is a a bright juicy maraschino cherry. I wish it lasted throughout. The dry down is a vanilla and is nice. Totally agree with m0userella and wish BBW made this into a perfume 😭 I tried the body cream and the cherry scent wasn’t strong enough in the opening, and mainly smells of vanilla cream so I didn’t get it.

Notes: Wild cherry, crushed pistachio, whipped vanilla “Bring out your inner sweetness with the scent of juicy cherries and savory pistachios. Life’s dreamier with a sweet treat!” -2024 release. I loved this scent. Tart and juicy wild cherries overtop of a similar sweetened pistachio note as SDJ62. The cream lasted forever on me and was really the winner in the line, the mix of cherries with the pistachio and vanilla to cut some of the sourness was perfect and fluffy on my skin. Have a backup of this and I’m so glad that I do!

To tell you the truth I thought this was gonna be a one-off perfume that goes into my collection to never be used again. But one smell in and I was in love!! The initial scent after the spray is nice and hits you with the cherry, only to quickly introduce the notes of pistachio and vanilla that make it feel like a cherry Jam over white chocolate with pistachio shavings on top. Very romantic and inviting, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a sweet and romantic scent <3!!

I loved this one..had several bottles...unique cherry 🍒 with roasted pistachios &vanilla ~♡~wish they would bring this back it had a slight chocolate smell to it from the roasted nuts,if you took bodymist warm&cozy from(V•S) and gave it a dark vibe with cherry same vibe,this definitely is not cough syrup or lil girl , its sexy grown up& rich smooth&sweet ~masterpiece!!! So sweer&good¡!¡ UPDATE: bath&bodyworks brung this back,the new bottle&display is different &not as cute tho.

Recently went to BBW and picked this up. This smells sooo good! Smells like pure cherry. I don't really pick up on any of the other notes "vanilla" "woody" or "nutty". Just smells like a sweet cherry. The downside is, this doesn't last long at all. I sprayed it and couldn't smell it anymore (not even on my skin) after 30 minutes. This is a good affordable option for cherry lovers, but just be warned it doesn't last long at all.

i love this scent i feel kinda immature wearing b&bw stuff but oh well.. i always put this on right out of the shower it's a really addicting scent to me, not a medicinal cough syrup cherry. i love how it blends with the pistachio, so yummy! i wish it lasted longer but that's the downside of body mist ig. I use most of my body mists from b&bw for my room and they seem to last infinitely longer on my furniture than on me..:((

Bath Bodyworks gotta start working on EDPs and Extraits immediately because this is absolute fire, but as a body spray you ain't getting much time out of it. Genuinely think they could start releasing fragrances under a different name for $250 and people would be eating it up. The nutty cherry that's distinct and much more interesting then the generic Lost Cherry DNA, this is one of my favourites cherries of all time.

It starts off as the most delicious maraschino Cherry ever, then it transforms into a warm creamy pistachio and the cherry takes a backseat. I only have two mists and one body cream, and I am regretting not getting more backups because I’m afraid it will inevitably sell out soon. I think sweetheart cherry is the most crowd pleasing scent of the year so far for b&bw. I can’t see anyone not really liking it.

This is one of my FAVOURITE cherry scents. I was worried it would come off as a sort of medicinal cherry, but instead it has this stunning note of pistachio and nuts. It lasts so long on the skin and there is a matching lotion that makes it last even longer! Cherry is my favorite scent and I'm always searching for new ones and I'm so glad that this one ended up being a love in my books ;)

Absolutely love this! Bought several backups. Delicious gourmand! The shower gel, body cream and body mist are all so yummy! Cherry wrapped in a warm nutty pistachio and smooth Vanilla goodness. lasts on my skin about 6 hours. This is a 2nd love to Mandorle by Sora Dora( sweet,boozy, smokey, almond cherry) will be a good layering combo for the perfect sexy cherry on a date night!

literally the best gourmand scent Bath & Body Works has ever made, no debate. all the notes pair together to create a symphony of creamy sweetness. the cherry and vanilla makes the scent cute and youthful, but the nuttiness of the pistachio keeps it from being too juvenile. an easy 10/10, B&BW [;ease NEBER discontinue this scent, i will buy out your entire stock.

i loveeee this body mist! it smells like vanilla and cherry ice cream with crushed pistachios on top of it. so yummy!! and it lasts all day. throughout the day i can smell it lingering on me. perfect for all seasons and day & night pair this with sol de janiero 62 to smell like a pistachio cherry ice cream with caramel and whipped cream. just so yummy

Smells like sugary cherries straight up. Also like super fresh ones, like off the tree fresh. On drydown I start getting that vanilla. It smells a tiny bit artificial, but not super noticeable, only if you really try to smell the artificial or you're more sensitive to that. I really love this, a very versatile scent for year round.

omg this smells DELICIOUS like it actually smells edible!! the only words that come to mind when i smell this is the cheap cherry lollipops i used to buy as a kid, so nostalgic and delicious! its literal candy, definitely recommend for fruity gourmand lovers, but i do see how it can be polarizing. heart eyes from me tho :3

This body spray is so pretty and smells great. I don’t get cough syrup it smells like canned cherry pie filling. Not the pit itself just the filling. It also smells exactly like those cherry scented canned car fresheners on a hot day. I’ve been wearing it with Kayali Yum pistachio. It’s smells incredible and I’m addicted.

Review for lotion: I don't usually like cherry scents for body care but this one is nice. The nuttiness of the pistachios comes out to balance the tart cherry note. The nice part is that this has no bakery/cake note. This is just a sweet cherry and pistachios blended well. Layers well with a cherry blossom perfume.

this is a very heavy cherry syrup scent. it is super sweet and gourmand, the pistachio note has such a bite to it. very creamy and delectable like gelato, it combines so well with the cherry it’s just so sweet and perfect !! i recommend to people who enjoy sweet cherry scents or any gourmand fruity lovers.

Simply gorgeous! It's a Gourmand! I feel that it smells very much like Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 62. The pistachio and whipped cream...mmm. I love the burst of cherry at the beginning! I wish this were an actual perfume because I'd buy it! If you like gourmands give this a try! Enjoy!

This is literally so amazing.. oh my god. I wish they had this as a perfume because the smell is probably the best thing I've ever smelled in my life. It lasts like 1-3 hours which is it's only flaw. It's so flirty and sweet it reminds me of Lana Del Rey's Born to Die era. In loveeee.. so in love.

For a BBW mist, the longevity is surprisingly decent. The loud, candy-sweet projection lasts for the first hour before it mellows into a sweet cherry-vanilla skin scent. i couldnt put my finger in what this reminded me but this is literally a cherry Ring Pop with a nutty drydown.

So delicious. Been using this every day since I got it, layers nicely with chocolate perfume. This is a thick caramel cherry when it dries down. I can see how it may smell medicinal upon first contact but it’s definitely worth the wait until the great part comes in. Yum!

One of my favorite body sprays, a sweet and deep maraschino cherry fix, the pistachio grounds it well. Dry down is slightly more sophisticated than most. If I didn't know any better I would say this is the body spray of a high end edp. It really is delish ❤

This reminds me A LOT of Sol de Janeiro 62 but with an added cherry note. It is DELICIOUS!!! The cherry is not woody or smoky, it is juicy and nutty. Amazing scent that last decently long for a body mist. And for the price... RUN to Bath & Body Works!

oh my goodness. just purchased this a few days ago and am wearing it right now. it smells like an ice cream sundae with maraschino cherries and cherry syrup! it's how you'd imagine a coquette girl to smell which is what I go for <3

Smells exactly like cherry pie filling. Warm and sweet with a real cherry scent (as opposed to synthetic.) I'm usually not big into gourmands but this is so enjoyable and not sickly sweet. Stocking up since its in season right now!

Before I start saying anything you need to know I LOVE maraschino/fake sweety cherry smell. So I LOVE this spray!! Smells like deep maraschino cherry. Very much a dark luxury type feel with the scent profile.

straight up sugary sweet maraschino cherry !! not close to lost cherry if you are looking for a dupe but sometimes that is okay. the world needs perfumes that are just cutesy girly and saccharine like her :)

this was my daily scent for a long time, really amazing scent and LONG LONG lasting compared to many other BBW scents. cherry is one of my fav scents ever and this is a great cheap scent of it :)

One of my favorite blind buys. The notes are accurate and it simply smells like cherries. The scent also reminds me of Kayali's Yum Pistachio, I wear both scents together and it smells lovely.

Definitely my favorite fragrance of ALL TIME! This smells so delicious its one of the best cherry fragrances I've ever smelled. I just wish they would come out with a parfum version.

Heavy cherry note imo, I get no pistachio really and can’t smell the resemblance of sweetheart cherry and SDJ 62. Love love it though.

it's so good i got this in a mini spray and a lotion #broke but i put the lotion on before bed and i smell so yummy i love it so much

When I tell you I love this scent, I really mean it. I bought the entire set. Its so amazingly sweet, and smells like ice cream.

This has the same cherry note as Chocolate covered cherry but they added pistachio and a fluffy vanilla cake note
