Teakwood

so i really like this scent. it does have some similarity with mont blanc legend and AF Fierce but its a tad sweeter and definitely more woody. The longevity on this is alright i suppose but i wouldnt count on more than a couple hours of silage and maybe around 3 to 4 hours of life. however its a little bit of a different story when applied to cloths. i like to actually layer this with YSL L'Homme and together they give each other the hand they both need to last a bit longer and they kinda fill the cracks in each other to make a really well rounded fragrance in my personal opinion. If you have this scent try 5 sprays of ysl L'Homme around the neck, hair and collar and then give 2 sprays of this on your chest. you might thank me for it later. the Teakwood gives the L"homme a bit more depth and the L'Homme gives the teakwood a bit more sweetness and a touch of the powdery freshness. overall all things considered ill give this a 6/10 due to performance reasons but the scent and the price are both on point if you can find it available.

I wouldn't call this a Mont Blanc Legend clone. Legend smells cold and metallic while this makes my mouth water from its 'fruity' and 'sour' smell. They are very similar in their vibe, however. Legend is one of my absolute favorites and so is this one, and for what it's worth, this is my girlfriend's favorite second only to Legend. She can't keep her hands off me when I'm wearing these two fragrances and it's awkward because if I'm busy or just not in the mood, I can't wear these for fun anymore

I've had 2 bottles of this and I miss it (I believe they canceled it and only produce the mahogany teakwood one now). It was my first fragrance to get real compliments with and besides whiskey reserve was the only bath and body works fragrance where I didn't have to spray it 10+ times just for it to last an hour. If you can find a bottle of this get it 100% the best bath and body works frags they made. 9.0/10 I hope to find another bottle

It DOES smell like Abercrombie Fierce! But still, undeniably like teak, backed up slightly by mahogany. Great scent, by far my favorite of their new offerings, and worth checking out if you liked Fierce, but want something a little different! This doesn't have that same "bubbly" texture that Fierce or Mont Blanc Legend have, but the scent is similar, none the less.

A fall/winter classic to me! Possibly my all-time favorite B&BW scent. I think I prefer the lotion to the spray, but either way it's a rich, almost tangy woody scent that I don't think I'll ever tire of.

Received this as a Christmas gift, fantastic cheapie! Smells like Mont Blanc Legend intense with added woody note. Around 8 hours of arm's length performance.

I mostly updated my review, based on newer experiences with Teakwood. Bath and Body Works Teakwood was one of five releases in the 2017 relaunch of the Bath and Body Works men's line in the modified 2014/5 release bottles. Teakwood is a very familar as it is Abercrombie And Fitch Fierce which has been done to death at this point. For this reason I didn't buy it but rather got it in a swap. Bath and Body Works had a similar style scent that was discontinued called Whitewater Rush which was more watery. That said, Teakwood is actually a nice take on the Fierce formula. Teakwood takes Fierce scents into a different direction. There is no citrus or apple notes in this nor is there a pine or fir note or accord, though I do feel some musk accord. The lavender is nearly the dry lavender from Versace Dreamer and English Laundry Signature for Men. The woody notes of teakwood and mahogany make it different as it somewhat reminds me of Jay Z Gold minus the berry sweetness and the bright citruses. There is also a quality of Coty Gravity in Teakwood due to spiciness from the lavender and the woody notes. That said, Gravity is fAR spicier. Longevity isn't that good at all with Teakwood. It is an eau de cologne but that didn't stop Fierce from turning into its powerhouse or Mahogany Woods (another Bath and Body Works scent) from having decent projection. Teakwood performs very much like the previously mentioned Whitewater Rush. It quickly becomes a skin scent and can last, but it has to be smelt up close. Wearability is a bit of a plus for this scent. It is an all year scent though I would say wear it in the daytime. It works in office settings, casual and close the encounters. It may get you compliments if even you smell like my brother or ex-boyfriends responses. Is Bath and Body Works Teakwood bad, no. Is it mass appealing, yes. Is it unique, not in a standout way unless you know notes. Does it perform good, no but it isn't terrible. For this reason, I rate it a 6.6 out of 10 when I originally rated it a 6.8. I got this from a swap but I wouldn't really pay retail for it. If you do want a more unique take on Fierce, go with something like Fierce Confidence, Montblanc Legend Intense or Playboy New York.

Is it just me or do many of the BBW fragrances smell the same? It seems many of their fragrances use much of the scent DNA from Coach for Men. Graphite, Clean Slate, Marble and even Teakwood all smell 75% like Coach. I was hoping to get an actual woody fragrance from Teakwood, however I don’t pick up any woody notes from this fragrance. It smells like a slightly sweeter version of Graphite. All this being said, Coach for Men is one of my favorite fragrances and the reason why I love many of the BBW fragrances. Teakwood is no exception, it is a wonderful fragrance (very similar to Coach) but don’t expect an overly “woody” scent with this one. Scent: 7.5/10 Performance: 6/10

This is really nice! My husband actually wasn't wild about it, but I think it's decent. Not much from B&BW is truly unique, but much of it is generally pleasant, this is no exception. It's pretty fresh and has a lot of "lift" to it. The wood is lightweight, yet decidedly masculine as far as I'm concerned. Sometimes these men's offerings are a little unisex, but I wouldn't feel comfortable in this (wear what you like who cares, I just prefer feminine leaning things usually). It's an easy-reach. It's fresh, clean, with slight aromatic touches. I think there's musk in here too, but it isn't strong.

Teakwood is a Montblanc Legend/A&F Fierce clone. It sells for ~$50 for a 100ml EDT bottle, where I live, & it has a weaker performance compared to those two. Right now on FragranceX, Legend sells for $33 per 100ml bottle & Fierce is $85 per 100ml bottle. Just get Montblanc Legend. It's, undoubtedly, the best option. On a side note, the BBW White Barn Mahogany Teakwood 3-wick candle, which smells like a woodier version of the fragrances I mentioned here, is one of the best. It's just amazing. Get that, too, if you like this smell.

A very pleasant woody scent. The problem is the performance. Two sprays to my arm while in Bath and Body. I go to smell this immediately after spraying it, and I have to get within six inches to detect it. Within 30 minutes it’s a skin scent. The fragrance lasts about 6 hours, which isn’t horrible. But nobody is going to smell it unles they are intimately close to me. If the projection was better I would purchase it, because it’s a really nice scent.

Yes, it smells like sweetened fierce. Can be heavy if you overspray however it still doesn't last long hence not great for workday unless you carry an atomizer. Women love this, so the best way to use it would be to go heavy on the trigger during a night out and by the time you hit the bed it's gone. Gets the job done while it lasts though.

Out of my husbands collection I bought him , including niche, he still insist this is his favorite. Smells great and perfect for fall

Teakwood from Bath and Body. Really was expecting more. What's it smell like? Pick any Ed Hardy and you're pretty close. Teakwood wasn't something to write home about. It's like a sweet version of CDIM only it doesn't last too long. Just get a bottle of Luck and Love for $18 and call it good.

This was actually slightly disappointing to me. Similar to Fierce, yes, but there is something metallic about it that lingers and made this kind of unpleasant. Cheap if you can get your hands on some travel sprays, but then again so is Fierce. I'd stick with the original.

This actually smell the same with the body creme. Strong at first spritz, quite linear, and no development. Smells like teakwood strong and unapologetic.A&F fierce or montblanc is much complex and smooth compared to this. Strong teakwood smell that sometimes can be headache inducing in the heat but can be worn in colder months. Only a few sprays needed otherwise it will be cloying. This smells similar to mahogany teakwood candle and body mist.
