It’s a beautiful fragrance that wraps you in a luminous and comforting sweet warmth! It does lean gourmand, but it’s also quite floral with the radiant and citrusy floral orange blossom. The blackberries add a sweet and juicy fruity facet, especially in the opening. The tonka in the base really adds this lovely amber-y, vanillic, and somewhat caramel-y sweetness and warmth that’s intertwined throughout the whole experience. This seems like it’s going to be an easy reach, and generally a nice crowd pleaser. It feels feminine to me, and like it will suit women of any age. This feels suitable for fall, winter, and spring, but could probably work during the summer too. It’s a &good choice for casual occasions, work/school, and even some date nights. I find this to actually be reminiscent of the new Libre Berry Crush! It’s a bit heavier, lacks the lavender, and replaces the vanilla with vanillic Tonka bean, but having just sampled the new Libre Berry Crush (which I love!) I came back to this as something similar. The body care will pair beautifully with Berry Crush! I also paired this with YSL Libre Vanilla Couture, and it was lovely! I have to try it with the Flowers & Flames version as it might make it closer to Berry Crush! I also get a slight similarity to Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet, except a more rich and deep version. I Decided to blind buy this during their body care sale, where all body care was $4.95. All I can say is WOW! This fragrance is so beautiful. It only has 3 notes, but the smell is rich and complex. To me, this is a perfect signature scent for the winter. It's warm and just absolutely delicious...has slight gourmand elements, but no where near a gourmand fragrance. I highly recommend this!

Dries down a bit powdery but maintains a soft, youthful quality. Just sweet and lovely. Smells like laughing with my friends. Lasts suprisingly long for a B&B fragrance.

Smells like the feeling of coziness. Like borrowing a best friends sweater. Long lasting for a bath and body Mist. I've gotten the most compliments wearing this.

Mix it with another BBW scent - vanilla ease. Pairs well.

I really like Touch of Gold... Perhaps it's because of the Art Deco Design. When I smell this, it smells like a sophisticated and elegant lady. It brings to mind those classic designer perfumes that originated from the 1920's. In particular, it reminds me of L'Interdit - Audrey Hepburn's perfume! (Okay - not quite. Her L'Interdit perfume and the current formula greatly differ - but that is where L'Interdit's story begins.) Okay, back to the point!! Bath & Body Works version smells so lovely and modern. It smells light-hearted, fresh, elegant, - and especially floral. It also smells like clean laundry! The difference comes from the addition of the fruity note! The sweet blackberry's subtle tartness smells so refreshing among the otherwise dominant floral presence. However, like L'Interdit, I believe Touch of Gold should be sprayed lightly as well. If heavily sprayed, it will smell overbearing and therefore immature and offensive. This is a perfume where the classy morals come into play - less is more. It's understated elegance. Otherwise, those dominant white florals become very strong and powerful. Nice work Bath & Body Works! This is nice modern and light-hearted approach to a classic lady's perfume.

It does have a smell that's reminiscent of coins, but I don't get any blackberries at all. I only get the orange blossom and the tonka bean kinda smells more amber. In summary, this smells a lot like strong orange blossom and amber (if you have Petal Parade, this could be her sister). No fruity blackberry note, nor does it smell like tonka (I have a lot of blackberry and tonka fragrances, but this isn't it). I like it, though. I can't stop smelling myself. It's perfect for date nights. Won't recommend for summer as it's too strong. The sillage is quite scandalous, but I love the longevity. It performs a lot like an EDT. If you love perfumey scents, this is right up your alley.

I was expecting a sweet but warm juicy blackberry scent with an ambery dry down. The total opposite. I did not like this at first but the more I wore it the more i started to really like it. It's a dry blackberry scent with a lot of orange blossom and a hint of spiciness from the tonka. It honestly reminds me of an Arabian scent, it just has that aesthetic to it. Surprisingly for a BBW mist it lasts for hours, I can still smell this on me at the end of the day especially on my clothes. If you're looking for a fruity & juicy blackberry this isn't it, it's very mature and rich, and leans more orange blossom than blackberry.

To me, Touch of Gold smells like fresh laundry wrapped in soft cashmere. It has a clean, musky warmth that feels comforting without being heavy. The musk gives it that cozy “your skin but better” vibe, while the freshness keeps it light and airy. It reminds me of pulling warm clothes out of the dryer ; soft fabrics, clean skin, and a subtle golden warmth. Not overpowering at all, just a gentle, elegant scent that sits close to the skin. Perfect for everyday wear if you like soft, musky fragrances that feel clean and effortless.

I have the shimmer mist version of this (which I assume is fairly similar to the regular fragrance mist), and it smells almost exactly like Midnight Addiction- my fave b&bw scent that was unfortunately DISCONTINUED! I love this though. It smells like an expensive fruity-floral gourmand department store fragrance! Super sweet and pretty, reminds me of Born in Roma Extradose & a little bit of Viva La Juicy too. Not the most innovative or unique scent, but it's certainly a good deal for the price (I got it on sale too!)

The window display for this release caught my attention so I went inside to try it. I lathered on the moisturizing lotion first then sprayed the edp. The blackberry, orange blossom, and tonka come together to create an enchanting scent. I really like it! It’s exotic and feminine with some warmth to it. I think it’s one of B&BWs more sophisticated releases. Judging from the comments though, I wish I would have tested the mist to compare it with the edp. Nonetheless, Touch of Gold is a stellar choice!

Although I usually stay away from BBW sprays because I find the scents aggressive and cloying, this body spray is such a pleasant surprise! At first spray, it smells almost like an apple pie but much brighter than you might imagine. As the day goes on and it settles, it starts to smell almost exactly like bubble bath soap. I personally find that lovely, it reminds me of when I was a kid haha. I suppose the scent is supposed to be a champagne sort of scent , but I don't get that anywhere.

It’s a very “perfume-y” scent, but in the way you get a fruity perfume-y perfume. It’s quite lovely and warms down to a warm fruity gourmand with the blackberry just being a whisper. I don’t have JC IWC Le Parfum, but I do have the original IWC and it smells nice with this. I love the Tonka note......it stays throughout the entirety of wear—which lasts on the longer end of “moderate”, btw. I blind bought this during the 4.95 sale last year and bought everything in the line!

I agree with the review below mine that says this smells like Hilary Duff's With Love. It's not exact, but it's very reminiscent of it. I still have a great smelling bottle of With Love. Touch of Gold is pretty strong, which isn't always the case for a BBW mist. It wears a long time on me as well. I'm thinking of doing a large declutter of my mists, this one will stay.

This smells like fresh laundry to me. Like a really nice liquid fabric softener. It kind of reminds me of Musk Therapy but I like this more because something in Musk Therapy smells funky to me.

As soon as I smelled this fragrance, it smelled exactly like L'Interdit Rouge Ultime by Givenchy. If you love that perfume, you will love this!

This scent reminds me of a fragrance from back in the day. I just can’t put my finger on it. It’s a pretty fragrance though.

I was wondering when someone would dupe aura! Go BBW!

This smells different in different carrier media: the mist, EDP, glitter spray, and body butter all smell different than each other, even though it's all supposed to be exactly the same fragrance. I smelled the mist and EDP in the store and the mist seemed sweeter. The sales lady said the EDPs are oils and that's why it might smell different. I liked the mist, didn't really like the EDP. I bought the body butter because I just like their body butters for moisturizing, and I bought the glitter spray thinking it would be the same as the mist but with glitter, because I have two BBW "diamond shimmer mists," Luminous and Brightest Bloom, and both of those smell exactly like the "fine fragrance mist" rather than like the EDP. The glitter in the diamond shimmer mist of Touch of Gold is very appropriate for September, an early autumn woodland, because it has white, gold, and green sparkles. The two other diamond shimmer mists I have don't have the green sparkle. When I got them home I put both of them on and I like the body butter but I don't like the way the diamond shimmer mist smells. The body butter smells like blackberries. The diamond shimmer mist just smells like chemicals, I don't know if maybe that's the tonka bean but I don't like it. Also the diamond shimmer mist comes out thick, sitting on my skin like an oil or gel, not like the fine mist I get from my two other diamond shimmer mists. I rated this OK because it's halfway between Like (body butter) and Dislike (diamond shimmer mist.) I'm going ahead and rating it for Fall because the reason I was so excited about this fragrance is that it launched during Golden Autumn Dreamland week on the Gourmands board here on Fragrantica, so I thought it would be the perfect thing to wear for the week and to remember the lovely Golden Autumn Dreamland later. And perhaps it will be, but just the body butter.

Bought the set to wear with Dossier's Gourmand Orange Blossom. Smells pretty great on its own and it does layer well, but it turned into a very dry, powdery, and overbearing generic white floral on me that honestly gives me a bit of a headache, so beware of that. It lasts forever, though; I still stunk of orange blossom after a 10 hour shift and a shower. Not a huge winner for me personally, but I see why people like it.

It reminds me a little bit of ysl libre, but less aromatic without the lavender. The blackberry makes this a bit too fruity for me. It's okay. I like libre better.

Touch of Gold has a very lovely initial scent to it but I find that it ends up smelling like pennies over time.

it really does smell like coins. the pennies comparison was spot on. smells like what you'd think tarnished jewelry is supposed to smell like. okay, after letting it sit on my skin, i get the scent of slime. it sounds ridiculous but seriously. it's middle school. it's elmer's glue and borax. it's the smell of your hands after playing in slime. throwback to 2017... it still smells gross.

Smells like Platinum except with orange blossom to me. I don't care for it.

This smells full bodied, sweet (but not sugary) & warm. There is a fruity presence but I wouldn’t readily guess blackberry if I didn’t already know that to be true. The orange blossom smells very synthetic, but I’m not saying that as a negative, just that when you smell this fragrance you can tell immediately it’s a Bath&BodyWorks scent. It’s not a fresh orange blossom but leans more into that overly sweet & slightly honeyed territory; it doesn’t really scream floral tbh. To me, the Tonka bean is the core of this fragrance with the orange blossom hugging the perimeter. The Tonka is not complex & basically reads as amber to my nose with a hint of powderiness. Overall I would say this is a sweet amber with a bit of nondescript floral. When I smell this it kinda reminds me of a richer, warmer Japanese cherry blossom.

BBW Hack when you are trying to level up your layering combo game & get boxed in by the patronizing 3 note max, 1 top heart 1 base - IF it’s a scent that they make a parfum for, don’t bother with the notes here for ANY product in that line- the somewhat extended note breakdown on the edp/ edt page applies to all. I come to this page for the reviews etc BUT I find SO many more commonalities in notes to match up products that aren’t BBW - the remaining question I’ve been on a quest to answer for about 2 years now is witaf are ‘Silver Blooms’ (Platinum) & Sapphire Berries (Dream Bright)?

Was walking past the Bbw shop and i caught a whiff of something thats extremely familiar, shockingly familiar.. the scent stopped me in my tracks and i went into Bbw trying to confirm it.. and YES. This, to me, smells like CH GG Midnight , the discontinued one!!! I cant believe it. Immediately i bought the whole range , the body mist, body cream, body wash, etc coz i know Touch Of Gold is seasonal. Once it’s gone, buhbyeeee forever, the same way as we unwillingly said goodbye to Ch GG Midnight. 😢

This is an overpowering and long-lasting scent that some will love for exactly that reason. Once it dries, it smells like a mix of cheap old-fashioned bar soap, patchouli, marigolds, and chrysanthemums. Though the note claims golden raspberry, there’s absolutely no fruitiness, and despite mentions of vanilla, it’s not there in the slightest. It’s just a plain, strong odor that could easily offend those nearby, so don’t be misled by your initial sniff at the store or by others praising it.

this perfume lasts forever!! the silliage doesnt last but i can never smell perfumes when im wearing them and this one i can. it's the next morning and i haven't touched the bottle and i can still smell it! while it's dried down it smells mostly of the orange blossom, and the tonka is gone. could just be how it smells on my skin tho. albeit it only has 3 notes, this perfume has so much depth for a bath and body works fragrance!

The moment I smelled this fragrance I knew exactly what it reminded me of and I had to have it. To me it is a dupe of one of my favorite childhood perfumes that is discontinued, With Love by Hilary Duff. I own a couple bottles of the perfume and to me they are almost identical. Definitely a must have if you’ve been on the hunt for a dupe of With Love or for the original, as they are pretty pricey.

Had no expectation for BBW mists anymore since their launches got so boring lately. But kinda amazed with this one. Smells not so watered down like their other body mists. It smells so familiar but i couldnt tell what is it... for now i would say it kinda resembles Mugler alien goddess

I have the perfume version of this and I love it!! It's quite linear and all I smell is tonka in the dry down, but it is so sexy!! This one time I wore it and went for a shower, I could still smell it once I got out!!! It's a must buy tbh

Something about this reminds me of TF Bitter Peach! I know the notes are not similar but it totally has that vibe. Took me awhile to figure it out but it def has a Bitter Peach vibe to my nose.

I'm still on the fence with this scent as I am not a huge fan of orange blossom. It does remind me of Coach Gold. If you have smelled both, share your opinion.

I love this scent so much. I am definitely not a gourmand girl at all, but it's very light and pleasant. It smells expensive
