Vampire Blood

Smells like a fistful of melting red candies while you trick r treat in the rich people neighborhood with night blooming jasmine. Starts juicy and sweet but with a warmth from the jasmine and plums that can make its first spray read like cotton candy. As it dries it becomes warmer and more syrupy, as the candies melt. Now I will warn the full dry down can sometimes remind me of those cherry car fresheners but I dig this. It could make people feel a little gas station bathroomey esp depending on your skin. After around 4 hours it smelled like a hot car full of this cherry freshener. Like you ended trick r treating by getting into your dad's too-heated car where your sticky red candy carries on the stagnant car air, a jasmine you picked falls in front of the air vent. Gourmand (flormand even) in a bizarre way, even though the jasmine is even sharper during this phase. Maybe it's cause I wanted to eat those cherry fresheners. One of my favorite ever scents for real. And I do have an emotional attachment but even besides that, it's truly beautiful and Halloweeney in a way you wouldn't expect.

I bought this on sale because I thought it was a cute scent that I could either layer or just put on when I want a subtle scent, but WOW, my expectations were blown away when I wore this for the first time. I got quite a few compliments throughout the day, which was surprising to me that it lasted so long. When I was washing my face that night, I remember raising my hands to my face to apply my face wash, and I smelled something amazing. For a second I genuinely couldn’t tell what it was or where it was coming from until I realized it was the body spray! I put it on at about 7am, and I was washing my face at around 8pm. I’ve never had any high-end perfume last that long on me. For the actual scent of it, I’m not great at describing things but I would not call it sour. I’d probably describe it like a candy that tastes sour when you first taste it, but opens into sweetness.

Straightforward, classic red berries. It does lean a bit artificial but not nauseatingly so imo. I actually layer this with Crumb Couture by Snif because I really like the croissant and cream smell but felt it could use some berries. Adding this turns it into a really good bakery combination! So I think layering it with various scents makes it an any-season, anytime fragrance... but on its own, reads daytime in the fall to me because of the brightness. Yes, longevity isn't great because it's a B&BW body spray, but I just keep reapplying throughout the day. Pleasantly surprised by the projection, though. I have a soft spot for this and really enjoy it - despite its name and image, it's bright, pleasant, and yummy. :)

I absolutely love this scent. It definitely leads on being darker than it is. You expect a more dark cherry, but I feel like that pomegranate type scent comes forward well. One of my favorite perfume notes besides vanilla is dark red berries, pomegranate and strawberries, Cherry is alright, but I typically find it too overwhelming and gives me pretty bad headaches. I find this to be a really good, sweet red berry scent. Not too overwhelming and headache inducing, or too sweet and 'young'. I'm on a desperate search for a sophisticated, sweet pomegranate scent, step one is here! 7/10 under the pretense that it's it is a Bath and Body works fragrance, AND It's limited edition (which sucks)

i was originally a hater of vampire blood. today, out of curiosity, i decided to face an old enemy. i do not know what the 2025 formula changed, but i am head over heels in love with this smell. it genuinely might be my new signature. it's so fruity, but just a little bit sour to make it refreshing instead of overwhelming. it's like a fruitarian vampire pricked their finger reaching into a bowl of cherry candies. it's not as edgy or sharp as the name might imply, but it's just so perfectly sweet and fruity without being cloying. best summary i can offer? it smells like bright red. just bright red. edit: man this smell does not last or project at all on me and im miserable about it

WONDERFUL . GORGEOUS . NOT REALLY GOTHY OR EDGY BUT THATS O KAY TOO . this was my first perfume and it's still my favorite despite the other relatively cheap smells ive tried between department stores and malls. it smells like how younger me imagined wine after only reading descriptions of it in youtuber fanfiction. wish there could have been a spookier, thicker note thrown in, (maybe something like actual wine or perhaps incense or smoke of some sort?) but overall i really can't complain about anything to do with the actual scent . performance isnt the greatest, at least on me, but thats okay . i love u vampite blood

Definitely a tart, sweet, slightly sour red berry, but in the drydown I get a sugar/cotton-candy note also. The red berries could be a mix of raspberry with other berries, maybe red currant & strawberry, but it leans mostly raspberry & red-currant although there's an airy floral facet which could be jasmine. Passing reminders of Circus Fantasy Britney Spears before the sugar/cotton-candy comes on, but after that then passing reminders of Sexy Secret Jean Marc Paris, Cotton Candy Calgon & Cotton Candy Body Fantasies (would layer well with all of these and many others). Not what I expected! When I think of vampires, I think of incense and dragon’s blood. Of course, then I remembered that this is a BBW scent. Looking at the notes, it sounded lovely. I sprayed the tester, and my mom and I about did flips. It is so fruity and tangy! I immediately bought, and sprayed on myself. It settled quickly. For me, it is SPOT on cherry airheads with a dash of fruit gushers. It’s so freaking sour and sweet. Honestly, it’s a fun scent. Would I wear it every single day? Ehhh. It’s fun and so good, albeit juvenile, but hey! Us adults want to have fun, too.

Absolutely love Vampire Blood! It’s not a dark or goth-y scent at all like I expected. If anything, this is like the blood of a cute cartoon vampire! It’s a sweet, bright fruity berry scent. I love the plum note! The jasmine doesn’t stand out but it’s definitely there. Compare this one to a scent that’s 100% fruit like Champagne Toast or Bright Christmas Morning, then you’ll notice the jasmine’s effect on Vampire Blood. I’ve gone through a body mist and a couple of hand soaps and plan to restock if it comes back in the fall.

I love this. The candle was my intro to this scent years ago and I was totally stoked when they came out with the mist (the year before last I think?). A review further down says that it smells like Raspberry Sourpuss (it's an alcoholic drink/mixer - very tart and candy like), and I think that's a good comparison! It's slightly tart and fruity, and it smells "red" - but it's not perfumy. Edit to add: Although it's light, it really sticks around for a while on clothes leaving a really soft, slightly sweet clean scent.

i don't really know what people expected out of bath and body works scent covered in cartoony art and descriptor words like "spooky red berries" to be gothic. it's a fun name for a seasonal scent. i really liked this, i've never heard of the scent before i saw it and i really liked it. it is a bit juvenile and artificial/synthetic. however i did like it enough to indulge in the perfume, the lotion, the sanitizer, the foaming soap and the room spray. makes me feel like a scooby-doo vampire. or a hex girl.

unapologetically love this and look forward to it every year. i’ve seen people say this is a “basic fake alternative girl” scent, which is actually kind of crazy considering that fragrance is inherently subjective and alternative culture is about letting people be individuals (let girlies like what we like!). so yes, i did buy the fine fragrance mist, body wash, body cream, and hand sanitizers, i don’t care! this is just a super addictive, slightly dark, tart and fruity scent, it’s a classic to me

i had both a bottle of the spray and the body moisturizer back in 2019 i believe? and the longevity and projection on that particular formulation was insaaane! last year i repurchased because i remembered how much i loved the combination, and was pretty disappointed to find that i could hardly smell it anymore and it only lasted for an hour of so. it still smells absolutely scrumptious and i want to swim in a lake of vampire blood, but sadly it's just not the powerhouse it once was.

I bought this perfume to unleash the inner Visual Kei bandman in me & because it reminded me of Enhypen. Was 100% worth the purchase!! If you're wondering if you should buy it please don't think twice. It's a very Halloween scent for my spooky girls. It's fruity but not the fruit scent isn't too strong. It lasts a decent amount of time on it's own but I recommend buying the matching lotion to make it last :))) this is my holy grail I refuse to touch it until b&bw brings it back 😭

Very sweet and deliciously fruity and juicy. Almost smells like there's a tiny hint of spice somehow. I find this and Immortal (basically the cologne version) to be intoxicating and addictive. I just really love plum I guess! As much I love Vampire Blood, I hope to find a perfume similar to this that has a little more substance. Something with more of an actual "goth" vibe that's still very, very sweet with dark fruits, but with more depth and lasting power.

This is my favorite B&BW body spray, but I wish it had more sillage and longevity. It does not lasti, maybe 1 hour max. and the sillage is fairly low. You'd expect a more goth, dark smell from the name, but it doesn't really match the scent. It smells like it is complex but it is really not. You can smell all 3 notes and it is sweet and beautiful. I use it with the body wash, moisturizer, and the body lotion from the same series to help with the longevity.

Had to import this from the American site but the theme of it was 100% my style so it was worth it. As some others have said wasn’t expecting it to be quite this sweet but I actually really love it. I also have the hand sanitizer and glitter body spray of the same scent, looking into getting the body wash and candles too. My only beef with this one is: not particularly long lasting, and should be available on international BB&BW sites.

Probably my favorite perfume out there. Anything that smells aggressively like candy is top-tier in my book, and good god does this smell like a red jolly rancher. I try to grab it every year when it's available now. The only downside is that the scent isn't as powerful as it originally seems and fades relatively quickly. Highly recommended for any other freaks who enjoy smelling like they work daily shifts at Willy Wonka's.

as everyone else is saying i was sorta expecting this to smell a little darker but in my opinion, upon smelling this for the first time a couple years ago i was pleasantly surprised by how sweet and fruity this is (maybe im just biased with fruity smells, theyre one of my favs after all) and it has since been in my top 5 b&bw scents. i really love wearing this and i have to keep telling myself i cant drink it lol :3
