Vanilla & Palo Santo

I'm very impressed by this one from BBW! I got mine for $4 on sale. I'm a guy, so I don't really mind cologney smells. Its interesting because I think this smells a lot more fresh and aromatic than the name implies... There is definitely a Santal 33 quality within its dry down. Its smells quite lovely and sophisticated, but the weaker sillage makes it acceptable for casual wear. The longevity though is a lot better than other BBW sprays, as I can still faintly smell it at the end of the day. Even though "Vanilla" is in the name, it's not the same vanilla as bonfire bash or Vanilla bean Noel. It's not super sweet or edible, but nutty and dry. It almost smells more like coconut/tonka than vanilla to me? Also, the dry down makes it smell very similar to Santal 33 le labo on me. The coconut nutty-ness fades very rapidly, but it leaves behind a smell that's like Santal 33 but sweeter. Its a very versatile fragrance, but still retains enough intrigue to attract complements (I've received a few, surprisingly for a $4 fragrance...). I think this is good for every season except summer, but I personally prefer to go heavier/stronger (TF Black Orchid) for winter. I got 3 bottles for $4 each, so I have a habit of doing a couple spritzes before leaving for errands just to freshen up. Definitely not a replacement for my proper colognes/perfumes, but great for everyday/office wear!

This one is probably one of the most high-quality, unisex fragrances I’ve ever inhaled. It is the perfect blend of Palo Santo, warm creamy vanilla (nothing like warm vanilla sugar,) woody, and bold smoked incense next to a bonfire that has died down. This scent is so mysterious yet sophisticated. I love mixing this with VS tease crème cloud and I also love spritzing this on my boyfriend because it smells even better on him. Wish b&bw would release this again because I am down to the very end of this. (BTW my bottle survived through an entire summer of cooking because I left it in my car. It got left in direct sunlight on my seat to where the bottle melted and even leaked about 1/4 of the fragrance out! And it still smells amazing!) I will say that I got this riiiight before b&bw reformulated all of their recipes, so I think that could also be why it is such a strong scent that can more than withstand high heat.

Vetiver is a main player with this one.
