Vanilla Mocha Martini

Bypass the body spray and go straight for the body cream. It outlasts and outshines the body spray by miles...lasts the livelong day, and smells creamy and comforting on those cold winter days. I get mocha and vanilla with a touch of the martini but not too much at all (stirred, not shaken 😆). Though I've previously considered myself more of floral girl, this is a gourmand scent that has most assuredly captured me. I get whiffs of the body cream even later into the evening and it's just so incredibly comforting. I'd also like to mention how well it layers with Jessica Simpson's Fancy Love body spray or perfume. Something about that Champaign and mocha with a touch of powdery just works! 😁 The body spray smells wonderful for the two seconds it lasts, so just make your investment into the body butter or body cream. This is the perfect winter scent for me. I got quite a few different ones recently during BBW's semi-annual sale, but this is the one I use the most by far. I should also note that Midnight Amber Glow is quite similar, and enjoyable in its own right, but I don't get that same mocha - martini twist that I enjoy so much. I have the Midnight Amber Glow perfume spray and it layers so beautifully atop the vanilla mocha martini body cream. It's a predictable pairing that lasts all day for me.

When I 1st smelled it in the store I was torn by whether I liked it or not, so I skipped it. Fast forward a month later I decide to give it a try and realize I love it, but now BBW is no longer selling the body spray. Had I known I would have bought several of them to stock up. Luckily I was able to buy another cream and shower gel. Something about it keeps me wanting to smell it...the vanilla orchid and tonka bean give it a sweet note that I really enjoy. Someone below mentioned it smelling like soap....I assume it's not vibing with her body chemistry because I get a slightly gourmand, warm, cozy yet awakening vibe from it. I really hope BBW either brings back the spray, or brings back this compilation of ingredients under a new fragrance name. I paired it with my Kayali Vanilla 28 which smelled amazing, and feel it will pair nicely with many other fragrances.

If you are looking for a coffee perfume and you like sweet, pretty scents, TRY THIS ONE! The first immediate smell is light-roast coffee, followed by a little splash of sweet chocolate. It smells pleasantly light with a little bit of that warm, coffee bite. It smells like a blonde roasted mocha latte, a sweet dessert kind of drink. I love it, it smells so good! I had tried another perfume called Black Opium because I read that it was supposed to smell like coffee, only to be disappointed that I couldn't really smell coffee at all. It was more of a dark floral that was a bit musty. Not bad, but a little too aged smelling for me personally. And certainly not coffee enough. But this scent here, Vanilla Mocha Martini, is a real coffee scent that really smells like a cozy cafe! So glad I found it!

The coffee note is much stronger than the vanilla or mocha, but it's SO nice layered with a vanilla or chocolate scent (I used vanilla lotion and cocoa butter baby oil). The only downside is that this does NOT last. On fully moisturized skin I get maybe 30 minutes to an hour if I'm lucky, and clothes aren't much better. I literally had to spray my dress until it was damp, let it dry, and then spray it down AGAIN to make it last more than a few hours. If they made an actual perfume of this instead of a fragrance mist, I'd jump on it.

I purchased Wrapped in Vanilla yesterday, I smelled this in a boutique yesterday and decided to purchase it today,. I'm not sorry I did at all. It's stronger than I expected based on some reviews of it not being long lasting. On my skin, I get a bit of coffee, I get a whiff of Amber (from where I don't know) and some vanilla of course. I usually put my scents on my clothes, but I will keep this one on my skin only, its really strong, spicy and sexy gourmand scent.

I blind buy this because of the coffee note (I recently developed love for coffee scents). I thought that it would be espresso type of coffee note that is bitter and dark. But it isn't, this one smells like a cappuccino kind of coffee that is sweet. Not what I expected but I'm not mad either, I'd still get it if I knew how it will smell like.

I would do anything for BBW to bring this back. It's one of the only gourmand scents I've smelled by them that doesn't smell artificial. Compared to a lot of their other scents this one is very "rich" and deep. I need it desperately!

this is my all time fave bedtime smell <3 it smells like a milky warm mocha coffee. i love it! i own the lotion and the spray. i think this is my most used lotion i have ever had lol i love it 10/10!!

Honestly smells exactly like vanilla mocha cream to me. They probably just repackaged it

Vanilla Mocha Martini Bath & Body Works is a rich, warm, and very sweet coffee gourmand. At first it can seem plasticy or overly alcoholic, but let it dry down for a quick minute and the actual notes will emerge. Yes, after that it reveals itself to be a cozy, light, and creamy mocha cappuccino, albeit not the most realistic representation. There is negligible bitterness or deepness typical of coffee. However, the alcohol note remains prevalent, a sort of bitter soapy synthetic zing in the midst of the velvet mocha. I don’t love that aspect personally, though it’s tolerable the more the fragrance settles. It’s giving a sort of sexy in the obnoxious way, and I definitely wouldn’t get past it if it were stronger. I’m sure it can be mellowed down when layered with a stronger vanilla or something. Speaking of which, the vanilla and tonka bean are present to smoothen the coffee, but not the booze. Doesn’t last terribly long, but still better than some other B&BW products in that respect. This is 100% a nighttime winter leisure fragrance. Holiday parties for adults, sipping on sugary flavored drinks at the minibar as the fireplace keeps everyone feeling cozy and in the mood.

I smelled the lotion in store and rushed to get both the mist and the lotion. After testing them out at home I found myself liking them less than I did in store. The martini boozy note is a bit too much for me and it takes away from the vanilla, coffee and mocha for me. I like it, I just don’t love it as much as I thought I would. On the bright side, this is a stronger scent that may actually last on the skin unlike a lot of the recent bath & body works releases that don’t last more than 30 minutes on my skin. I will continue to test the scent and try pairing it with more creamier scents to soften the sharp boozy smell and hopefully give it a more lactonic cappuccino vibe.

Tootsie Rolls. Those chocolate taffy candies. That's what this smells like. Definitely not complaining though! I've been trying to find a chocolate scent for a while and B&BW seems to have phased out Hot Cocoa & Cream for the time being. This is a very sweet, lactonic, mocha cappuccino scent. The coffee vibe is light and present at the beginning but it mostly dries down to Tootsie Rolls for me. It's not a huge projector and I feel like I have to spray a lot to get it to last, but I like it. Especially for cold and cozy days!

i regret returning this a year ago because it smelled so rancid back then. i came over to my friend’s house the other day and she had this one so i sprayed some on my clothes and it was so sweet and milky with a hint of coffee. i think you just need to let it sit for a while before it could smell good

This is my first BBW fragance and I'm so in love! It's a light, roasted coffee with just a hint of liquor in it. I think its perfect for an office scent. I'm definitely looking to layer it with a sweet vanilla, because it does have a slight bitter quality to it.

Smells like a mocha/cappuccino. No rum/alcoholic note here thankfully. I think this would be great to layer/pair with a chocolate or coffee perfume like Montale's Chocolate Greedy.

I thought I'd love this but there's something when I smell it on my skin I don't enjoy, so I will be returning...

Don’t get me wrong, I like this scent. It reminds me of a rich hazelnut and vanilla cappuccino with vanilla whip on top. I liked it enough to purchase two body mists and a lotion, however that was before realizing that once this is applied to the skin it gives of strong scented candle/room spray vibes. I think it works better that way than as a perfume for the body. On my skin it’s cloying and synthetic all while not offering much projection and then it doesn’t last beyond a couple hours. I believe they do sell this as a candle though, so I’m probably going to sell these products and just buy the candles or plug ins because the scent is very nice, just not for a body scent. I'm not a coffee drinker, but do enjoy the smell of freshly brewed coffee. I don't really love it as a perfume note, so take my review with a grain of salt. I smelled this today while shopping the semi annual sale. I bought Midnight Amber Glow which is stated as having a coffee note, but It's super faint and I honestly can't smell coffee in that one. Now, Vanilla Mocha Martini hits you upside the head right off the bat with the coffee scent, albeit stale smelling coffee. Not burnt coffee, but like if someone abandoned a cappuccino and you smell it as you walk by. I didn't get any vanilla from it, nor any floral notes. It was a huge no for me.

This is very much what it claims to be. That alcohol smell from the "martini" is very strong. I cant get past it to get a creamy coffee, which I didn't expect with no one mentioning it having such a strong alcohol smell 😅 oh well Edit: 4/20/2023 Alright it's been 3 months. Now that it's had time to sit with some air in the bottle it's gotten much better. Still has that "Martini" vodka note but it's no where near as off putting. It's actually settles through the day and gets creamy.

I have the body cream and there’s just something weird and off about the smell of it, something I can’t quite identify. And it doesn’t smell enough like coffee.

Smells like a very sweet mocha coffee. If you love smelling like coffee, you might like this. But smelling like coffee gives me headaches, so not for me.

smells like straight up maple syrup and cinnamon but not in a good way

Just picked it up at the semi annual sale. I love it! Definitely has a boozy smell but it lightened up and left behind a beautiful coffee/hot chocolate smell. I wore it out with the only one by d&g. The coffee notes complimented each other decently and I think they smelled like a yummy cafe and walk through a garden. Im going to pair it with Chocomusk next, and maybe tonka by solinotes & cherry vetiver from LYRD. If you don’t like boozy, coffee, or gourmand scents, don’t pick it up. I would say it’s best suited for cold, rainy or snowy weather.

Discontinued but I bought 2 for 30 on amazon. Omg. This is the perfect coffee scent that is strong. Best for layering. My combo: ogx coconut coffee body scrub with bath and body body wash. Get out, put on autumn shores lotion from vs, then put on vanilla martini spray. Then autumn shores spray. Then choco musk, then britney spears perogative. It smells delicious. Or you can use coffee and whiskey at bath and body works as well since that smells almost similar to autumn shores at vs.

To me it smelt like burnt coffee so I gave it away. But I honestly want to buy it again just so I can remember the smell exactly. Sometimes I give perfumes away too soon without giving them another try. But anyways I didn’t smell much vanilla. I wanted more vanilla and coffee mixed but the coffee overpowered the vanilla. But I do love coffee as much as vanilla

I have the lotion version of this and it smells horrible on me. I prefer Midnight Summer Glow over this.

Someone here said it smelled like tootsie rolls in the drydown and i 100% agree!
