Whipped Coconut Milkshake

Omg I’m addicted to this. It smells like a coconut cake with sweetened condensed milk in it with some warm ambery notes. I layered it with Nest Madagascar Vanilla oil last night, and it was even more addicting! I swore I could barely smell this line when I tested it at the store, but you have to try this one out. It get stronger as the bottle sits. The first day I wore this, every time I tossed my hair over my shoulder I kept trying to figure out what shampoo I used that smelled so good! Later on, I noticed the smell on my robe and realized it was this! While the body lotion will stay on your clothes all day and radiate a bit, I feel like the fragrance mist sits closer to the skin and doesn’t project much. Although, with the fragrance mist alone, I do get some really lovely whiffs of it throughout the day. Really beautiful for the summer. EASY reach, and great for layering! Comparisons: It’s not “buttery popcorn” like the sol de Janeiro coconut. It’s not heavy or floral at all like B&bW coco paradise (or the likes of alien goddess, beach walk, etc...). I’m getting backups for sure because I’m already working through this bottle! ETA: I just noticed the philosophy warm cashmere comparisons! Yes! I but with a coconut note of course 😁

Look, I have a ton of gourmands from B&BW. I absolutely adore the synthetic aspect of so many of them such as strawberry pound cake, blueberry sugar pancakes, and confetti cake pop. When I put on whipped coconut milkshake for the first time, about an hour later I was so confused because it smelled as if I had a real life coconut dessert somewhere near me. This smells extremely realistic, not synthetic whatsoever. I absolutely adore this, the vanilla ice team is exactly that, and the coconut smells toasted for sure. It’s a warm fragrance, I can’t wait to get more wear out of this. It’s perfect for all year round but I’m excited for it during spring/summer for a beautiful gourmand spin on a tropical scent. As far as comparisons to coconut cream pie, coconut cream pie is thicker, heavier, and louder. It’s obviously ooey caramel and baked pie crust. I don’t get much coconut from that one, but this one is full on coconut & vanilla. Frosted coconut snowball is also coconut, vanilla with sugar notes. WCM is more vanilla heavy and balanced. Frosted coconut snowball is a mostly sugary coconut to me.

Wow, I really enjoy this one. To me and on my skin, this smells like a warm, milky coconut surrounded by a sunny amber. It doesn't have the 'plastic/synthetic' smell that I often get from coconut scents (at least when they react with my skin chemistry). I truly love coconut scents but most of them react with my skin in a way that is unpleasant to my nose. Excited for SAS so I can stock up on the cream and shower gel! As an aside, one of my favorite 'date night' combos is this (shower gel, cream, FFM) layered with Alien Goddess Intense. It amps up the coconut in that scent and plays really well with the deep amber in that perfume, chef's kiss!

Smells really nice exactly like vanilla ice cream with hints of coconut Can’t really smell the amber in it though ? But overall smells good delicious gourmand scent but I feel as though imma need to let it grow on me after a couple uses . I also find that it smells similar to curly hair products I use that contain coconut in it. (edit) I am INLOVE and I’m about to buy another one asap (edit) yall I went and bought the last two at my local fragrance store and I am so sad bbw discontinued this scent im going to cling onto my last 3 for however long bc its that bomb😍

loooove this. coconut is hit or miss for me (fresher scents like frosted coconut snowball were not for me) since i like gourmands, not fresh/shampoo-y/salty scents. this is perfect, and definitely gives the vibes of coconut ice cream. it's not a toasty, caramelly coconut like i was expecting, but it's so creamy and lactonic and delicious. i just wish it lasted longer and projected more! it would be perfect for year-round if it was just stronger, but with how light it is, i think it's best for the warmer months.

Very similar to Pacifica's Indian Coconut Nectar, but a little less sweet ironically, and a little more artificial with an extra something. Considering how weak Pacifica's is, I don't mind spending that money on these instead. I got a bunch of them during the summer sale for ~$6 each. If you were a fan of the now discontinued Indian Coconut Nectar body butter, which was my absolute favorite, the BBW Coconut Milkshake body butter is also extremely similar. These are limited edition though.

This is one of the best coconut fragrances from B&BW in my humble opinion. It is just a nice, lofty vanilla coconut fragrance. It is certainly a perfect gourmand for summer, but not tooth-acheingly sweet. I am devastated that it was a limited edition fragrance! This is so cozy and comforting but not at all cloying. Of course, this is not the strongest or most long-lasting fragrance but I really enjoy to layer this with the body products and with other coconut/vanilla fragrances.

I picked up the 2024 version at SAS the other day... and it hit me. This has nearly the EXACT SAME drydown as SDJ 39. The initial spray/middle scent notes are a different but when they both dry down it's identical. I pulled out a bottle of SDJ 39 & compared them on the spot, and they're definitely 90% dry-down dupes. SDJ is a little stronger, vs Whipped Coconut Milkshake being a lot lighter & a touch sweeter, but I think this may satisfy your SDJ craving!

I love that this is a more gourmand scent that can still be enjoyed in the high summer heat without being too sickeningly sweet...it’s definitely a creamy, warm amber & coconut upon the dry down. If you want to smell like a snack while getting errands done around town, this is the one for you. This would also be great for a casual, cozy night making s’mores around a camp fire.

A very good, very sweet coconut smell that I like a lot. I actually enjoy combining this with other sweet or tropical smells, since it makes a nice sugary compliment to most things (it goes nicely with another of BBW's summer scents, Firecracker Pop, in my opinion). Also, it has really cute packaging typically, which is always a plus.

This smells exactly how I wished it would. It was an online blind buy for me and I was worried about it because a lot of coconut fragrances, especially from BBW, smell super artificial and sickening. This on the other hand smells like those Raffaello coconut candies. Super creamy coconut with amber and vanilla, it's delicious.

This is the best coconut I've found so far on my coconut obsessed search. I am looking for something like it but in perfume form but no luck yet. Till then I will keep overspraying this hoping it lasts, and refreshing it every couple of hours. Which feels lovely and cooling in the summer anyway. 10/10 BBW!

In other words, Whipped Coconut Milkshake is one of the few coconut fragrances that I would consider a coconut perfection, a coconut triumph.

Coming from a Person, that dislikes Coconut Scents and that sold Coconut Cream Pie - THIS IS BOMB! This is the best Coconut Scent I have ever smelled in my Life. It`s so edible, lactonic, creamy, like Bounty-Icecream or Raffaello Cream, it`s perfection! I can`t believe how good this is.

I like this a lot! This is a light sandalwoody coconut imo. Kind of reminds me of the OGX coconut shampoo. Most B&BW body sprays give me a headache and I appreciate that this is light and not too sweet.

So yummy! This will make you smell super edible. It’s got plenty of coconut, but vanilla cream is the star of this show.

My grandma gifted me this, has that similar smell to warm vanilla sugar thats kind nutty, and definitely chocolatey.

Absolutely positively love this creamy coconut dreamy scent 🥰 I only wish that it lasted longer then 1-2 hours.

This to me smells like a toasted coconut and caramel cake. The amber base note is stunning.

Beautiful warm summery scent, albeit generic. I get lots of toasted coconut from start to finish, more vanilla than ice cream (maybe vanilla ice cream?), and also sunscreen. The amber weighs down the scent really well making this more mature, though I wish for less. This may be why some people say it’s less gourmand than they expected..? I wish I bought the body lotion too cause the projection sucks on this body mist.

It reminds me of toasted coconut chips very nutty. I love coconut though so I'll definitely be layering and overpsraying. Edit: Definitely projects alot more in warmer weather. It smells amazing. I have the body lotion too. My go to summer body mist forsure! I have downgraded this to just be my linen spray. It doesn't last at all!

I was expecting a milky smell to this with the whole milkshake part, but the amber note overtook the rest of them and I could only smell the coconut besides the amber. I mean I will wear it but wish the amber was lesser/not even there firstly.

Coconut Cake / Coconut Ice Cream without going cocoa butter or plastic nasty coconut that lots of coconut body mists do. If you like sweet coconut scents, GET THIS, especially while it's $4 for SAS. Edit: VERY light

I don't smell much coconut, but nevertheless it's a delicious smell. my little sister decided she didn't like it and gave it to me... she asked for it back but alas I will not be returning it.

Honestly, I was expecting it to smell more gourmand, but I'm getting a lot of amber in the scent along with a bit of coconut. Not a bad scent, just not as sweet and coconutty as I imagined.

I like to layer this with Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere by Philosophy. It’s good for the transition from summer to fall, coconut to vanilla.

I love the body mist once you let it oxidize but the body cream smells like a sort of pesticide or insect repellent

I do love this scent. It opens with a coconut sunscreen note but quickly turns more gourmand. The dry down is photorealistic toasted coconut flakes covering vanilla bean ice cream. Usually when I see ice cream listed as a note, I am disappointed, but not with this body spray. My issue with the body spray is not the scent it is the performance. I have to spray until my skin is wet, to get 3 hours of wear time with an intimate projection. Even when trying layering combos performance would be an issue. Because Whipped Coconut Milkshake would be overwhelmed by the other scent I was wearing. I know this is an affordable body spray, but I do have bath and body work scents that have good performance. I will use this up, but I would not repurchase and would not recommend unless it is re-released with better performance.

I'm so disappointed in this. I lovvveeee Coconut Cream Pie and was so excited to get something similar that is readily available and at a decent price, but this is all amber to my nose. I don't get any ice cream and really don't get any coconut. Just a deep, musky, disappointing amber. Update: I'm getting the coconut now, but it's definitely overpowered by this musky amber. It's similar to Vanille Coco by Comptoir Sud Pacifique and Cocco alla Vaniglia by Kyse!

A little too much amber. Not creamy or lactonic like you would expect a milkshake fragrance to be. The amber gave me a headache and I can barely smell any coconut. Just an overly sweet amber vanilla with no complexity. I really looked forward to this scent and was left disappointed.

I blind bought the candle and body cream last year. To me, the coconut is off and it smells synthetic/plastic. I returned the candle and should have returned the body cream. I tried the spray and had the same experience. My two daughters don’t care for it either and they love coconut and gourmand scents.

I am not that big of a coconut fan, so take this with a grain of salt. This body mist smells very coconutty, but there's this almost cardboard smell to it. It's hard to describe, but it's so synthetic and I can't stand it. I would not recommend this fragrance.

It's very plain. Coconut and ice cream. I don't smell the amber notes. It needs some amber, sandalwood, salt, and more vanilla.

Tip if your bottle smells like alcoholy-sunscreen- LET IT SIT!!! I got this one from SAS and was so excited to try it. I love creamy, lactonic coconut and vanilla scents. Frosted coconut snowball fell flat for me, too salty and fresh for my taste. When I first smelt it I was so disappointed . It smelled like sunscreen. I don’t mind sunscreen scents, heck I even like them in summer, I had just wanted this to smell like the name: a whipped coconut milkshake. Fast forward 3 weeks later of this sitting in my closet, I gave it another sniff today and HOLY!! It’s the coconut milkshake of my dreams! Creamy, lactonic vanilla and coconut, with a little bit of amber. It has still a hint of sunscreen in the background that I don’t mind now. I picture this scent as drinking a coconut milkshake on the beach after freshly applying sunscreen. It’s so yummy. I would highly reccomend. This layers well with le monde gourmands lait de coco, and I feel like that perfume knocks out all of the sunscreen aspect of this.

Smells very similar to Coconut Cream Pie from a spring or two ago! Mix that with the blue mist from Sol De Jeniro and you have Whipped Coconut Milkshake! This found be great for summer or fall!

Smells like warm ambery coconut. Very gourmand and excellent for coconut lovers! Definitely a dupe for SDJ Coco Cabana! Can't go wrong with this scent, especially at SAS prices.

Love this fragrance mist, I thought the sugared amber would throw off the fragrance but it doesn’t its sweet and coconutty ice cream goodness!
