Whipped Rose & Vanilla

Ok so this is a delicate sweet rose scent. On the opening after the alcohol dries down you get this candied rose which is sweet, modern, feminine and soft. It's not a fresh cut rose or rose water. It's a jammy rose which is followed up quickly by the warm whipped frothy foam. In the dry down the candied rose becomes the heart of the fragrance and it is beautifully wrapped by the whipped fluffy foam. The cocoa flower here smells like a creamy white chocolate which adds more to the sweet aspect. Like imagine sitting in a coffee shop sipping on a cup of warm foamy hot coffee while a bouquet of pink roses is lying next to you. I must add this as well without scaring anyone, idk after 5/6 hours this scent turns weirdly musky on my skin like almost salty. Still a beautiful scent to invest your money in though 🌹 This can be worn all year around, at any time be it doing casual chores or romantic dates, at any season be it spring, monsoon or winter. However i do think this will work its magic when the weather is a bit cold and you want to be all cozied up in your home. Projection is noticeable and longevity is fairly moderate. Stays onto my skin for 6/7 hours and then turns into a salty musky skin scent. Fyi the vanilla name here is misleading, there is no vanilla in here. Fortunately i had the opportunity to own whipped rose latte and whipped rose and vanilla is a repackage of it as we all know. So i will do a short comparison real quick. They still smell pretty much the same. Whipped rose latte was intense with notes while whipped rose and vanilla is a bit mellow. Whipped rose latte was more whipped foam heavy but whipped rose and vanilla leans a bit more on the rose side + softer projection and longevity.

A compliment magnet for me and one of very few fragrances my husband enthusiastically approves of. He likes sweet scents on women and his favorites are VS Tease and YSL black opium both of which are fragrances I wore when I met him 10 years ago but can no longer stand on myself. Very happy to find a scent that's not only cheap, but that I feel comfortable in and that he also loves. I can def see the comparison to Mancera but this is much lighter on the rose and lighter in general, but still has excellent performance when layered with the cream. My description: opening is a fresh realistic rose petal that fades quickly to a mocha latte foam with a rose water kind of touch. His description, unsolicited, when I passed by him to do laundry: "You smell AMAZING! It's like chocolate or vanilla, idfk but tell me what it is and I'll buy ya more of it!"

IMO this is **not** a repackage of previous BBW releases Whipped Rose Latte or Aromatherapy Rose. To me, WRL is a powdery, creamy-coffee-cocoa with light rose - and AR smells like rose essential oil. Instead, Whipped Rose & Vanilla is a gorgeous, sweet, candy-like rose with a dusting of powdered sugar. It’s almost like biting into a slice of rose-flavored Turkish delight (the jelly candy cubes dusted with powdered sugar). Perfect for Valentine’s Day! Some recently-released BBW mists haven’t lasted long for me, but this one seems to last forever. I actually love it more than any other designer rose vanilla perfumes I’ve tried (even Jo Malone, Mancera, Penhaligon’s, etc.) - enough to buy several backups!

Can someone recommend a perfume that smells nearly identical to this? I'm in love but I want a perfume form, and this is discontinued. This is perfection to me. I see the recommendations but I know that those aren't always accurate. The rose is jammy, and the cocoa flower is very prominent. The whipped foam levels everything out. It smells like coffee, but only the slightest bit. Not that detectable but it makes all of the notes make sense. I love every single thing about this breathtaking scent. It's classy but seductive, and just on the edge of gourmand. A slightly sweet, cozy flourmand.

This fragrance is a love letter to rose lovers. Modern and classic at the same time. It's clean, light, fresh, airy, and a little sweet. It could never be cloying; the rose is not heady enough and the vanilla is not syrupy enough. This is a fragrance that could be worn by someone of any age. It would be appropriate for most occasions year-round. It could be dressed up or worn casually. I do think this is a more stereotypically "feminine" fragrance because of the slight sweetness, but it's so fresh and airy that I think anyone who enjoys rose could get away with this.

I got the set of fragrance mist, body cream and shower gel, and to do that, I had to buy from the store and online because neither had the full set. It was totally worth the effort. This is amazing! It's a sweet, creamy rose. Simple but beautiful. For any time, any season. It's a bit classic scent because of the rose but then that sweetness is so yummy! Wished I had got a backup set because they were gone in a flash.

BBW signature sugar note + Candied Rose It smells more like Rose Confite, which is more like a candy than actual Rose + Vanilla. It's sweet, warm and elegant. Good for layering if you're using Delina Exclusif or Mancera Roses Vanille. It has a raspberry scent during the opening. Good longevity for a BBW product. I can still smell it a few inches away even past 4-6+ hours.

I don’t have the spray but I have the lotion. It’s really nice. It makes me want to explore other creamy rose scents. Love it.

This fragrance has grown on me over time. At first I found it to be very basic and boring and committed to wearing it as my every day homecare, errands, and bedtime fragrance. I ended up wearing this fragrance more than anything else in my collection due to the fact that I'm a stay at home mother paired with when I've assigned this fragrance to be worn. I now find it to be very effortlessly feminine, nurturing, and sensual... because that is who I am when wearing it. I'm preparing meals, keeping my home, caring for my children, or crawling in to bed next to my now fiance all while wearing Whipped Rose and Vanilla. This fragrance is exactly as described, the simple notes all project in perfect harmony, and the fragrance lasts overnight especially on fabric 6-9hours. This is one of those fragrances I would have never reached for if I hadn't given it a purpose. It has inspired me to give all of my fragrances a specific purpose.

The body cream is to die for! I wear some higher end fragrances, but this one gets me a lot of compliments, even just using it as a hand cream. The body mist, of course, doesn't last at all, but it's good to layer onto a more woody fragrance to sweeten it just a bit.

It's okay, and easy spray to throw on and go. Perfect if you want something sweet and feminine , but not overpowering. I prefer a greener rose, but this is good and layers on well with many things.

Blind buy that I regret,,, i definitely dont like the whipped vanilla

On first spraying Whipped Rose and Vanilla, I get lots of alcohol and the scent of a fresh, crisp, under-ripe fruit with a minimal green note (could be pears or green apples, maybe even guava). After a couple of minutes I get a very sweet rose. Sweet as in pink rose petals dipped in lots of powdered sugar, and not as in Turkish delight or rose jam. These candied rose petals feel very creamy indeed, as if you sprinkled them on whipped cream flavored with vanilla. It is a very lovely fine fragrance mist, even for a person not very big on roses like me.

i work at a thrift store that this got donated to. i always smell anything that comes through and this one stood out to me because, to me, it smells NOTHING like any of the notes listed... but what it DOES smell like is pleasant and nostalgic. it smells exactly like sparkling white grape juice. reminds me of a tradition as a kid of staying up 'til midnight on new years eve drinking it. but it is like somebody dumped out whatever was originally in the bottle and just replaced it with something else lol.

This is my absolute favourite scent form bath and body works and I wish there was perfume version of it. Please suggest any perfume that smells similar to this 🙏 someone suggested to me Mancera Roses Vanille and it's not even close 😒 it doesn't have that lactonic whipped cream rose that is elegant and not overly sweet

I got this as a gift and at first i didn't enjoy it. It smelled like alcohol to me. So i started using it at home only, and my nose got used to it and i like it a lot now. I am not very used to chocolate/cacao notes, i guess i needed time. It is sweet, not sharp, a bit dark bc of cacao.

I got the body cream and am now kicking myself for not getting the fragrance mist too before it was sold out. This is such a soft, pretty rose scent! The vanilla note makes it smell less "mature" than other rose scents I've come across. Perfect for Valentine's Day.
