White Citrus

I just recently ordered this and I’m in love! The notes are lemon zest, sparkling grapefruit, ginger flower, freesia petals and clean woods. This is a super refreshing and light grapefruit, citrusy scent! It’s a light, not sharp or screechy grapefruit that is beautifully balanced by the fresh, slightly sweet lemon and very light floral notes and woods notes. It’s not particularly sweet, but is still girly, light, and fresh. I’m going to love this for spring and summer :) I think this would be lovely paired with my Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh which also has a grapefruit note but is super sweet.

Simple COLD & ZESTY CITRUS. Opens with a burst of cold citrus that leans to white grapefruit. Expanding into the heart, it takes on zesty, watery & floral nuances. Has a refreshing simplicity. Has reminders for me of 4711 Acqua Colonia Lime & Nutmeg, Aqua Allegoria Bergamote Calabria & Light Blue Dolce & Gabbana. Affordable and a beautiful in its simplicity, this has average performance for a light summer wearing experience that can be extended by layering over its matching body lotion. This is the perfect scent to wear on a hot day. Enjoy!

fresh, clean citrus scent that you can't go wrong.

White Citrus is quite simplistic to my nose, and I'm surprised that there are so many notes listed here. I don't detect half of these at all. I do think this befits it's name, as it does smell quite "white". It's never been orangey to me, but simply a clear (but not bitter) grapefruit, leading into clean white florals, and ending with a laundry musk scent. It only has the faintest hints of spice, but it has never struck me as gingery. It's exceedingly clean, but still has a touch of B&BW's signature sweetness throughout the wear experience. It evokes moods of 4 star hotels/spas, but *specifically* 4 stars and not 3, nor 5...because this is undoubtedly nice, but it isn't expensive smelling. Yet, it's not cheap or junky either. It's refreshing and definitely one for a relieving experience during high heat. It's also a one of those fragrances where I puzzle how anyone could have a strong negative response to, it's just so mass appealing (and unisex) that I feel that it's safe for anything from bedtime to the office 🌞 (Cross posted to other entries.)

Sometime in middle school, I got a small bottle of this when it was first released. Bright grapefruit and lemon zest, a little ginger in there somewhere. My mom adored it- said it smelled like Phoenix, AZ at night- back when a lot of what is city now was acres of orange orchards. B+BW shelved the scent for years, so when it reappeared, I was thrilled to revisit it. I don't think its the same now. It's much lighter and less deep, but still very fresh and fun. I spray it before long study or work sessions because it feels energizing. Sillage and Longevity are almost nonexistent, but I still like this scent enough to keep it on my shelf.

It smells like lemon juice. The natural kind. There's absolutely no sweetness in this scent, all you can smell is fresh lemon. Seriously, if you want to have a homemade 1:1 dupe for this scent, squeeze lemon juice into the glass of water and spray yourself with it. You'll smell exactly the same. It's not a bad scent, but too realistic for my taste.

there’s really nothing to write home about with this one, it’s just citrus that fades within twenty minutes. it does go on strong for the first few minutes, though, it always refreshes me and is super nice to put on when just waking up.

This smells like a glass of ice water with a slice of lemon in it. Very beautiful scent, but incredibly subtle. I have to spray this heavily to get scent payoff and I smell nothing after the first hour of wear.

The original simple floral citrus scent to 2010s kids. It's just soft and beautiful and reminds me of when perfume was just fun to smell for a moment and forget about. It's not meant to have complex notes or lasting power, its just a nice scent that's fun to smell on yourself after you spray it! Love her!

The old formula was really nice and fresh. The new reformulated version is different and not as good.
