Winterberry Wonder Diamond Shimmer

I've never bothered to read the notes for this on here until today, but I've had products in this fragrance before, and it's always smelled a little apple-ish to me. I feel a little validated right now, not gonna lie 🤣 Apple is never mentioned on the packaging, but it's obvious when you smell it, especially when water hits the shower gel and it lights up in the heat 🍎🍏 There's just a pinch of cinnamon, and the whole thing smells more autumnal than wintery to me. This is really decent, and smells a little tart. The pomegranate and citrus (sometimes it smells orangey, sometimes it has a lemony tone) offset the apple and plum enough to keep this from becoming to syrupy. It doesn't have pear at all to my nose. Longevity is actually pretty decent (mind you, I'm referring to the lotions mainly). If the mist is too light, consider layering products because I found that "the whole is definitely greater than the sum of it's parts" with this one. It's a simple fruity combo fragrance with vanilla. I'm not sure I'd seek it out again, but I get a little nostalgic when I smell it 😌 (Cross-posted from main entry.
