Winterberry Wonder

Winterberry Wonder is the scent that made me fall in love with Bath and Body Works. Key notes---ruby frost winterberry, sparkling cranberry, & crystal vanilla. Whenever I smell it, I’m hit with wonderful memories. It’s a super sweet, slightly tangy berry fragrance. I buy a full-size fine fragrance mist every year to collect the ever-changing packaging.

strong pomegranate...clean, crisp, coldness..I agree.similar to victorias secret crimson berrys losion.Its crazy but - this is for summer in my opinion . Its sparkling in summer , its fresher, bit citrusy and luckily no plum or apple detected under my nose, the other notes are standing more out.

This absolutely smells wonderful, it’s really sweet but not overwhelming unlike some other scents. it got me quite a lot of compliments when i wore it, would buy again a thousand times, only if it wasn’t a holiday special.

I wear this after my shower. It has a soft and subdued berry scent. Great winter scent .

Fresh, warm, snowy cranberry and vanilla. I say snowy because there’s something in this scent that makes it a winter perfume for me, despite otherwise smelling very strongly of something refreshing I’d wear in the summer. It’s some sort of clean, crisp, coldness. It ALMOST makes it to a fir/evergreen note of some sort, though I can never quite get there. Just barely enough ‘je ne sais quoi’ to push it into Christmas territory. And I mean je ne sais quoi quite literally. I DON’T know what it is. I guess when they say “winter berry” they mean a cranberry. This is a cranberry fragrance. That’s fair, I guess cranberry is about what there is for berries in winter. Weird that I don’t see that in the notes, though. I’m not getting ANY apple from this, and barely any pomegranate. It’s clearly and strongly cranberry. It’s pretty nice for a bbw body spray. I enjoy wearing it, and it doesn’t immediately go away like most of them. Though I do spray quite liberally. Like, literally all over my body. I find that’s necessary if you want any oomph from body sprays both from bbw and from the body shop. Good thing it’s cheap! 4/10

This is a perfect berry scent to me, I really really love this. There’s nothing much going on aside from just a straight up berry scent. On the dry down because it’s new to my collection, I confuse if with champagne toast because the berry note in CT is similar. Anyway, this one performs well and is gorgeous to me. I don’t find it juvenile at all and look forward to getting a lotion for SAS

i don’t normally go for scents like this, but i was gifted it and wanted to try it. i’m not sure how i feel about it; i’ve gotten about 3/4 compliments from it. It’s not terrible, but i prefer more edible and gourmand scents.

It’s very fresh and clean, I think the pear is pretty prominent to make it smell so fresh. It’s not in the notes on here but I smell cranberry heavy and I really enjoy it. It’s very fresh and fruity I enjoy it a lot

This fragrance is tangy and sweet. It sparkles at it’s best when wearing it outdoors on a winter day.

Smells a lot like black Cherry merlot. I don’t hate it. Probably won’t repurchase

I'm not sure if it's reformulated (my bottle is a very dark ruby shade. It's the one in the "Reminds me of" column. ), but most of these notes aren't mentioned on the packaging, nor do I smell them. I'm blessed with a decent nose - olfactory wise - and I think the Fragantica pyramid would've made this a lot more interesting than what I got. Quite frankly: I'm disappointed. I don't expect much in the way of projection and sillage from mists and indeed: about 60 to 90 minutes longevity and an intimate projection is all I'm getting from Winterberry Wonder (hmm, in this case too I heard Bath & Body Works (BBW) has better quality, but the longest lasting is Into the Night and then only 2hrs). It's not easy to get BBW in The Netherlands. While we have a webshop, the stock is limited in amount and sort, which means that my wishlist rarely gets checked off. During sales - lowest prices around €8-9 to €13.50, which is what I paid for WW - I got a few fragrance mists that I hadn't heard of. I use fragrance mists to enhance similar or complimentary perfumes or when I can't use an EdP that day. I'm a sucker for red/forest fruits like plum, blackcurrant, cherry and love vanilla bases. Winterberry Wonder seemed like the ultimate ME mist, but boy... how wrong I was! To put it in the simplest way: what I get is gummybear juice. Both a bit tart and a whole lotta sugary sweetness with quite the artificial fruity flavour. Mostly a mix of pomegranate with a hint of both apple and plum. It also has that 'grungy edge' that normally means you have a spicy accent, like cinnamon or nutmeg, but the scent of cinnamon is absent - it's just not a smooth. While the vanilla might have been the reason behind the sweetness I do not get any vanilla as an obvious note. A shame, that. It could have made Winterberry Wonder a bit more complex. And better. All in all, Winterberry Wonder is a very lineair and typical fruity bodymist type fragrance. I unfortunately do not mean that as a compliment. Having heard so many great things about the BBW fragrance mists I had expected more. Winterberry Wonder, to me, is the type of mist that could easily have been bought in a lower class drugstore, with early teens as a target group. No offence to anyone more mature who loves it. It smells like that on my skin, alas, and I'm not a fan of that type of scent. I have used it every now and then with Lalique Amethyst or to sweeten up Club de Nuit Intense for example. In that way it works - ish. But it lacks the quality and finesse I was looking for. With its regular price tag of €20 I already considered the brand's mists overpriced, but I'd hoped that Into the Night or Dark Kiss (the only ones of popular and often named mists I was able to get) were the standard - I really like these two - so I might be happy enough to overlook that price. But no... with Guess' Seductive bodymist line in the back of my mind (all a tenner or less, and much better quality) I can only say that Winterberry Wonder isn't anything I would recommend. Unless you live in The States and can get one for those 4 bucks. Then, maybe - and only if you like those artificial fruit fragrances - it might be worth to get it.

I've never bothered to read the notes for this on here until today, but I've had products in this fragrance before, and it's always smelled a little apple-ish to me. I feel a little validated right now, not gonna lie 🤣 Apple is never mentioned on the packaging, but it's obvious when you smell it, especially when water hits the shower gel and it lights up in the heat 🍎🍏 There's just a pinch of cinnamon, and the whole thing smells more autumnal than wintery to me. This is really decent, and smells a little tart. The pomegranate and citrus (sometimes it smells orangey, sometimes it has a lemony tone) offset the apple and plum enough to keep this from becoming to syrupy. It doesn't have pear at all to my nose. Longevity is actually pretty decent (mind you, I'm referring to the lotions mainly). If the mist is too light, consider layering products because I found that "the whole is definitely greater than the sum of it's parts" with this one. It's a simple fruity combo fragrance with vanilla. I'm not sure I'd seek it out again, but I get a little nostalgic when I smell it 😌

got this last year during a sale and i loved it at first. when i get home, my dad says it smells like fruity kids champagne. and oh my god was he right. i literally cannot think of anything else when i smell this. it smells VERY fruity, almost too much so, and a little juvenile. i don't like using that word since most perfumes imo don't have a certain age, but this smells like something i would get as a kid as my first perfume. i guess because of that it could be good to give to a pre teen as a gift? idk i use this as a room spray now and it smells good, but i don't think i'll really be wearing it out again.

I love this fragrance mist; I got the 2023 version. Fruity, sweet, and a little fresh. It doesn't remind me of the holiday season in terms of smell; it's like your everyday fruity scent. The cranberry note is, I think, the most prominent note here, which I love. My only complaint is the lasting power; it's very weak. It's like it's gone after 5 minutes of spraying it.

Not a complex scent. I think the fragrance notes here are wrong. It is very basic - no depth or complexity in my opinion. Smells strongly of berry, if it were sweeter and more floral would have been better imo.

I do not like this scent. It smells like hand sanitizer to me. Very strong, sharp scent that hits you when you smell it. Idk just smells like if you mixed berries and hand sanitizer together.

Im not a fan of fruity scent,been wanting it before but I stop myself from buying this bcoz of its fragrance note its all fruit and i dont like fruity scent so I said to myself No girl u will not like that one,but bcoz of the packiging I bought it without hesitation LOL,its not that bad at all,its refreshing,sweet,juicy,airy.I can smell that apple,pear plum and clemintine I just get dizzy a little bit but its fine,I can wear this during summer to freshen up my mood On the dry down the plum scent gets more stronger than on the initial spray all i can get was the apple,not a fan of the plum,so i avoid scents that has plum bcoz I will get dizzy

I guess there is a new packaging as the one in store has a pale pink colour with white snowflakes (kindda cute) Also the notes on the package are COMPLETELY different from what's listed above So must be a whole new formulation while retaining the same name (it's a nice berry name) This is Cranberry with crushed ice🍧 & a little bit of spice It 's cold❄️, fizzy🥤 & sparkling✨ While its created for Cold winter & snow Here in Australia its the 1st day of summer & I don't see why not it can be a suitable fruity cold mist for the hot days

I have ignored this scent until this year. It just never piqued my interest before. This year I gave it a try and ended up buying the mist. It's very sweet yet tart, like a fruity berry candy. I saw someone compare it to Haribo gummy bears and I can see that. The tartness is really nice. I can see myself wearing this year round.

Absolutely love this fragrance. Smells like crystalized berries and fruit with sweet cinnamon and vanilla, which makes it the perfect winter/spring scent for me. My only wish is that it lasted longer. If anyone knows any perfumes that smell like this PLEASE tell me 🙏
