Cuban Cedar & Lime

Ok I'll go first. this is a very pleasant lime, bergomot white musky fresh scent. One of the sweetest freshest lime scents I've ever smelled. There is this underlying very soft touch of white musk sweetness that hides under the lime that is very attractive. Then a light ceder aroma comes drifting by. It is unique and beautiful. Take this with you on a summer vacation for some awesome memories. The only drawback is that it fades rather quick. Expect to respray throughout the day if you want to keep the freshness flowing.

I saw this in a seaside gift shop and not expecting much I gave it a quick test on my hand and moved on. I spent the next hour sniffing myself thinking "this reminds me of something". Then it hit me (and bear with me here), it reminds me of Aventus!! Don't get me wrong, they don't smell the same, they just have a similar vibe. Aventus is smoky birch and pineapple, this is smoky cedar and lime. The quality and performance are not there of course, but for a cheap as chips alternative it is a good option to go for. No one who knows their onions will confuse it with Aventus but while it's around you will get a similar reaction to both fragrances. For just over £20 for 100ml it's well worth a punt IMHO. Pity I've picked it up in the autumn as I think will be a fantastic fresh scent in the Spring / Summer. Roll on next year!!

This is a surprisingly good fragrance that I'd received in a trade. I'd never heard of bath house until being involved in the sample swap and subsequent trade. This a fresh lime fragrance with a hint of a powdery note in the background. The lime isn't overpowering, like the heavy lime you might expect in a fragrance with lime in its name. I don't detect a wood or cedar note in it at all. This is an excellent spring and summer fragrance and for this type of fragrance, I guess I'm lucky that I get above average projection and longevity out of it. I'm getting at least 6 hours plus. Another bonus is that this fragrance can be bought for around $40, so you don't have to pay high end niche prices for this particular niche fragrance. The only thing I feel that I'm missing when I wear this, is a beach and some mojitos.

Very unusual scent (for me anyway) with very prominent lime. Another review makes a comparison with Aventus but truthfully, I much prefer this (and chances are, with the Bath House - unlike Aventus - you won't be smelling like anyone else).

Bottom line is, this isnt suited for anyone under 35 years old. I couldnt detect a lime note at all. All i got was a dusty/aromatic leather. Its very strong and lasts a long time.
