Damn guys,what a beast!Sorry Marte,but Marte 2 is the winner of the line!It has a mix of freshness,sweet accords and proper macho notes that make this scent legendary!Bought it 3 years ago and also after smelled more than 300 scents,for me it is one of the best!It lasts an eternity and it project like crazy!No compromises here,like Lapidus pour homme or Angel man,this is a macho scent,less classy than the original.Hyper highly recommended!

Its strong! Its really a masculine perfume and reminds me somewhat of the old fashioned mens cologne. I'm a woman but now and than i really enjoy this kind of masculine perfumes. The dry down is Woody, fougere with a little flowery sweetness. Projection and longtivity are strong and above moderate. Almost a power bomb if the sweetness was more prominent. Like it very much.

I discovered Marte Classico with 15 years old, my family is Italian, we lived in Brazil, certain day my uncle called me and invited me to my first music show at the past ATL Hall at Barra da Tijuca in Rio, I dressed up, button shirt jeans pant and opened his closet, he said to me - Take any fragrance you want! I saw a Roman warrior in the bottle and picked Marte, he said : - Wise choice, you will get laid!! 10 years later I bought this one. Is one of the very best perfumes I ever found. Noble, Aristocratic, Sweet with underlying wood really strong, never falling into the feminine side, sweet chic, addictive, everything perfectly blended, undelying notes of classic old school woods, retro and modern, strong and suave, this is a tall scent, smell like a rich accomplished men. It is very sexy and put thousand of modern scents seated at the sidewalk. Powerful projection, everlasting performance, beautiful lavender fougère. Have no doubt you are in front of a masterpiece. Is almost taller than any occasion, when I go out I choose others because it is too much for the environment. Maybe a really refined dinner with candle lights or upscale events. I see a really rich wise stoic men who knows how to play "tongue in cheek" jokes and be friendly and funny, you perceive the maturity and intelligence, but nothing is rude or nosy. Young spirit with some grey hair Once time I went in a party and had to stop at the drugstore, two womens looked at me astonished, everywhere I went they followed with huge big eyes wide open, jawdropped, "bouleverser". European sexy neoclassical with a touch of renaissence. Great interplay between notes, full bodied, flower bouquet, spectacle of lavender. A men wearing a suit smiling and carrying a red rose. One of the best, we must insist for they produce new bottles, I can't use this one too much since I can't find new ones, such a beauty. It is not a fragrance but a personality For "corteggiare una principessa"

Congratulations to Guglielmo Battistoni, his family, the nose behind this, but most recently to Italart for keeping this ALIVE - meaning lively! What a delight to buy a new bottle of fragrance, in Europe with all its restrictions, for under 50 E, that smells so satisfying, complete, and authentic. Vibes are Aperitivo at the Palazzo Manfredi, Battistoni tuxedo, Teatro Argentina. Marte II may register mature to today's nose but I get Tom Ripley - Dickie Greenleaf young men insouciance. It is NOT mediterranean cologne nor to be spritzed in the morning. At that opera, the guys won't stay through Atto II.
