Essence de vanille

Wow, okay. So I just wrote an extensive review and it did not post. Cool :/ Here's the gist of what I said: - Gorgeous fragrance. For the fact that there's no publicly known perfume for it. - Lychee is juicy and jumps at you, complemented nicely by grapfruit and lemon which both make the entire thing glimmer into your nose - The base carries these notes beautifully. This is the cleanest tobacco I have ever experienced. I believe it is toned down by the blond woods. I don't know what that means, by my nose seems to understand. The entire thing is delicious & I'm so happy to have discovered a new iteration of lychee that is not only comforting, but also accessible. The price is very affordable, and it can be found through beauty boxes and at macy's in fragrance gift sets. I disagree with the below reviews. You can enjoy a light airy vanilla. This is not a pure vanilla, it is unique because of the citrus notes that actually feel fruity, and almost bubbly like a champagne, because of the lychee which transforms them from astringent or the typical 'Italy vacation" vibe that comes through in more fragrances that have these as top notes. Then the tobacco is deifnitely unique because it typically makes a vanilla fragrance SO heavy, yet this one reminds light. And the woods don't dull the effect. Everything is so complementary. It's truly lovely and I am sure this is an underrated vanilla. It's really annoying how easily people discredit soft skin scents and complex fragrances with arms-length sillage. There are people who comb through the noise of the fragrance industry to find these scents exactly. We all like fragrance, and we all have different preferences/desires/hopes/needs.

Anyone could wear this, but why? It's SO boring.—bland citrus & light vanilla. Meh - I'm gifting it to my sister, who likes very light, simple scents. Barely lasts and barely has silage.
