312 Saint-Honoré

EDIT: after wearing this multiple times, I am starting to really dislike the drydown... I've come to realize that when Ambroxan and Musk mix, on my skin, it just does not work out for me. If this just had musk and no Ambroxan, I think I would prefer this. I really enjoy the opening and the mid, when the orange blossom begins to shine, but then in the drydown, the ambroxan/musk combo does this weird thing on me. I've noticed this with other perfumes that have this combo as well, like the new Mono Cashemire from L'Orestre Parfums. Sigh... hate Ambroxan!!! This is beautiful! Think Le Labo Another 13 but more feminine and one you can actually smell! I find that Another 13, being so heavy on the molecules, I can't really smell it, but others can. 312 Saint Honorè starts out with a burst of pink pepper, but not spicy pink pepper. Think of the actual SCENT of pink pepper, minus the tickly nose feel! The combination of the scent of pink pepper and the Angelica root must create the smell of white stone because that is exactly what the opening smells like to me. Then as it begins to dry down, the pink pepper fades away, and the beautiful orange blossom starts to bloom! Ooooh I love orange blossom! I don't actually pickup on iris, but I bet it's there to give the orange blossom a nice dose of creaminess and to also help tone down the sweetness. This fragrance is overall very airy amd ethereal, leaning more on the dry side, with just a tiny hint of sweetness coming from the orange blossom. The airiness comes most definitely from the ambroxan/ambrostar. Do I pickup on any oud? Nope! None at all to my nose! I would say that this is the more floral and feminine version of Another 13. Another 13 is more woody and slightly sweeter, I don't pickup on any florals either. I am so happy to have 312 Saint Honorè! It's such a great everyday, all-seasons type of fragrance. Gorgeous addition to the bdk line, and one that I think many people will gravitate towards, due to its versatility and overall pleasant scent! People saying this smells like Dyptique Leau Papier...? Sorry, definitely not. This is much closer to Another 13, but I much prefer 312 Saint Honorè! Longevity is also just right! Lasts me the whole day! Projection is by no means beast, but falls right where you would expect for these airy skin-like scents! Just lovely!

i tested this today at printemps on my skin. at first i was disappointed because i couldn’t smell much of anything. after testing a few others, i came back and it smelled beautiful. it’s not necessarily unique, but it’s pristinely crafted. it is the best clean but warm musk i’ve smelled with some florals. after about five hours, i couldn’t smell it anymore. i decided to ask my friend i had just met at the gym to smell it, and she said yes she could and it smelled warm and soft. knowing i was nose blind, i asked her to smell it again after an hour long weightlifting session. she smelled it faintly, so i thought this was the end. we did some shopping afterwards, and after another an hour and a half, she still smelled it faintly, and i could start smelling it again faintly too. even after going home and showering (cold since it’s a major heatwave, i smelled the wrist where i didn’t spray the perfume—nothing. however, where i sprayed it, i can smell such a clean musk. it’s been 11 hours now!! sillage is moderate, i’d say projection is more intimate, and the longevity (despite becoming nose blind and it becoming a skin scent after 6 hours) is upwards of 11 to 12 hours though this was my personal experience with my skin chemistry, i recommend testing it of course but i think this is a safe blind buy if you like clean musk, a little bit of skin warmth, and light white and powdery florals.

this perfume is pure magic. it opens with a blast of pink pepper, then it melts into my skin and gives off this sweet, deeply warm scent of powdery iris and orange blossoms mixed with what I assume to be ambroxan and tonka. when this warmth settles down, a clean musk rises up and gives little whiffs of heaven, this is honestly my favorite part of the whole perfume. Don't be put off by the oudh, I normally hate the scent, but as usual with BDK perfumes it's so well-blended that it just dissolves into the beautiful whole. I don't get the comparison to l'eau papier. l'eau papier smells screechy and offensive to me, it smells like the synthetic vanilla rice milk in soft cuddle by miss kay, but less soft and powdery (seriously, try soft cuddle instead, it costs like 9 euros). Saint-Honore is so much more well-blended, well-rounded and overall sophisticated imo. Someone already said this, but it's most likely a skin chemistry thing. my only problem with this scent is that there's this weird buttery undertone that can be a bit nauseating sometimes. I'm not sure what it is, but I only smell it when I stick my nose close to my skin, so I'm not too bothered by it.

This is nothing like what I usually wear (unisex patchouli/jasmine/citrus florals) but somehow this speaks to me! I normally don’t tolerate iris or Ambroxan, yet here I am about to pull the trigger on a full bottle. What is this sorcery? The peppery opening is gorgeous and I wish it would last longer, but the musky dry down is so lovely and feminine, and not too sweet. I think my collection is missing a winter/spring skin scent, and this may be the one. EDIT: Bought a full bottle and this is now the fragrance I reach for the most. It’s perfect for daily wear or bedtime, and goes with any outfit in any season. On me it is not powdery at all, and I am extremely sensitive to powder notes. The iris is undetectable, and thankfully so because orris/iris/violet notes smell revolting on me, like straight baby powder. The ambroxan is definitely present but rather tame, and it plays well with the other notes which I think is what lends to that modern vibe. I’ve been wearing it all winter! I think in the BDK universe this is Gris de Charnel’s rival. By far my most complimented perfume.

This is my dream perfume! This is so good! Super sexy, creamy... Very very sexy! I love how this mimics the skin scent but adds so much to it, the sillage is absolutely amazing, very very addictive, super super sensual and sexy. I think this perfume is very slept on, for me this is THE BEST from the house. I was a fan of Velvet Tonka and Creme de Cuir but this... This is on another level. I would definitely wear this to feel sexy and beautiful. It just has something that feels so natural, like skin odor that makes this super sexy to me. Kind of erotic and provocative even though this is the calmest scent that could have been made. Absolute genius work! I looooove!!!! 100000/10 from me! This is magic! The more it stays on the skin, the better it gets, when you move the scent just lingers around and the more heat the body produces, the more intense the scent seems to get. This perfume definitely has to be worn on the skin, not on clothes, this is the only way you will feel the magic. I want to smell like this forever!

I honestly think this perfume is an underappreciated gem amongst the BDK collection. Maybe not for the usual BDK fans, but definitely for the Another 13 en Escentric Molecules fans! For me, 312 Saint-Honoré has got a similar modern and abstract vibe, but it's a bit more 'perfumey' and elegant because of the iris, Thai oudh and pink pepper. I would describe 312 Saint-Honoré as a metal framework with a silk scarf draped around it and maybe a subtle string of flowers hanging down from one of the beams. I love to wear it at work. It's not an 'in your face' scent; it's modern and maybe even a bit stand off-ish, but the ambroxan and ambrostar make it warm enough to not be cold and aloof. This is what I look for in an office perfume: professional and friendly. After an hour or two it gets close to the skin, but spray it in your clothes and you will still get a whiff of it at the end of the day.

BDK 312 Saint-Honorie is a luscious perfume. It was a rare blind buy because I was drawn to the notes listed. I'm not proficient at describing perfumes, but I can describe how this makes me feel: pampered, bougie, feminine, calm, quiet confidence. The projection is moderate and the longevity is good on my skin. I will be looking for more from the nose behind this, Alexandra Carlin, because it is so well-blended and unlike anything I've sniffed before. An underrated gem suitable for all occasions and all seasons. Update on 7/12/25: This has become one of my most beloved and complimented perfumes. I get asked all the time what I’m wearing. I just bought a back up bottle because I can’t be without it. I do not think 312 smells like L’eau Papier, Glossier You, Musc K or Another 13, even though I have the last three and enjoy them a lot.

If you often like perfumes that are in the realm of something like glossier you, like clean musky powdery iris, you may like this. I do like the scent but it gives me a headache and nausea as it's quite aldehydic. I'm very sensitive to aldehydic perfumes, I physically can't stand any scent that is remotely aldehydic, so i can't speak for everyone. It lasts all day on me with a moderate projection, and does smell very clean and sophisticated, but the aldehyde is sharp. A review below said it smells like rotten fish. I can see it a little bit. It does have some fishy vibes, but like alive fish that just caught from a fresh water body, like a lake or a river. It doesn't smell salty or rotten. I don't mind it. I will wait for the weather to get warmer to try it again. I have a feeling that it may smell better in hotter weather.

I am completely in love with this fragrance, I think it's just so beautiful. As a young woman, this makes me feel like the woman I want to be: elegant, delicate and sparkly. I adore the pink pepper in the opeing which makes it so bright, and I also love the creaminess of the iris and the sweetness of the orange blossom (which I would say is my favorite perfume note). I also receive so many compliments while wearing it! PS. I noticed someone saying that this smells mineralic and like wet pebbles, and it was actually done purposerly: 312 Saint-Honoré is a homage to the first BDK boutique in Paris, the notes are supposed to recreate the smell of the materials that compose the store (concret, white stone and glass). Being an architecture student this makes me love 312 Saint-Honoré even more

I visited the BDK flagship store on Rue Saint-Honore the week of its opening and had such a lovely chat with the sales associate about perfume and travel. After sniffing every single perfume offered and settling on a full bottle of the sublime Creme de Cuir, I went on my merry way with several BDK samples, a gifted travel size of 312 Saint Honore and brand tote bag. To my nose, this scent is a very posh, refined creamy white musk with white florals, and a powdered sugary sweetness. It's super sophisticated and leans "feminine." It will always be connected in my memory of that trip to Paris! To anyone thinking about visiting the store, don't hesitate. It was such a personal and unpretentious retail experience. Great customer service!

As a lover of L'Eau Papier, 312 Saint-Honoré feels like a completely different perfume to me. I don't get a ton of similarity honestly. The only overlapping note is musk. Musk!! 312 Saint-Honoré is definitely very powdery and lightly floral, with a significant kick of the top pink pepper note and plenty of ambroxan in the base. It doesn't have the same dry papery quality that L'Eau Papier has, rather leaning a little fuller and rounder? Less comforting though, as well. I also find that 312 Saint-Honoré projects and lasts quite awhile. I believe BDK has quite strong formulations. Too many sprays is totally overwhelming for me.

L’eau Papier was starchy and heavy on my skin, but this is fantastic. Perhaps 312 works on those that the Diptyque didn’t work for and vice versa? On my skin this is a creamy soft orange blossom with Tonka. The oud and ambrostar and ambroxan create a super fluffy base that helps this from being too floral. 312 also layers well with other fragrances. It LASTS; I can smell this weeks later on clothes. When I wear this I’m constantly getting whiffs of something delicious and realizing it is me! Going to be wearing this a lot in the spring, summer, and early fall.

Finished my travel-sized, will not upgrade to full size because I feel like I may get bored of it later on (because of the aldehydes. It can still be overwhelming for me). But I changed the rating to 😍 because man, if you think you don't like it, if you think it smells cold and fishy, you have to wear this scent in the hot months!!! It truly blooms and smells so delicious and classy. It is low-key kinda gourmand, smells like some sort of white chocolate. And it projects very well in the heat. I even got a compliment from it!

New love frow this beautiful brand. On my skin, it smells like a perfected JHAG NAP Overdose. In the sense that I don't get nose blind to it and it is much more interesting and layered. The molecular muscs symphony pairs really well with the pepper, iris and orange blossom. It smells super clean, ever so slightly sun-screen-y. Very posh and elegant. Like an exclusive boutique or unwrapping new high end items. Easy reach, super versatile. Effortlessly chic. Elevates a simple outfit. Great performance without being loud.

Now this is class. A fragrance that will complement its bearer. If you are a man with a crisp and sparkling personality, this is so much of a spot on fragrance. People will remember you, not the fragrance. About performance, in my skin lasts for 12+ hours. I will tell you more about the sillage when I use it a little bit more. I have been looking for a scent like this for so long. Silent, yet alluring. I hope it remains a hidden gem, though BDK deserves all the recognition for crafting such a masterpiece.

Very clean scent, I find it unisex, may lean more feminine, but pink pepper makes it too spicy, it gets the masculine touch to stay unisex. Pink pepper and musk are the main notes that smell through the life of this fragrance. Not cloying or annoying to anyone, this can work every day of the year, just to smell good, this will not be a beast mode fragrance despite its longevity. This can also work as base for other fragrance. Lovely, reminds me of Musc K by Ella K

I bought a sample of this to see how is wears on me personally. At first I didn't particularly think anything of it, and then I kept getting whiffs of it where it had rubbed off onto a cushion or a jacket and I was really falling in love with it! it smells like a more feminine and softer version of another 13 for me. Not to say this couldn't be worn by any one! I think this perfume would compliment anyone who enjoys it. It is definitely on my list to buy!

I don’t understand all the hate behind. It’s a simple yet complex and quite expensive raw materials kind of perfume that works wonderfully all seasons but better during cold/spring. It gives sweet, musky and peppery nuances in the opening and then settles down to become a skin scent. Creamy, elegant, not LOUD at all. I have and owned many BDK scents and this is my favourite along with the popular Gris Charnel. Floral and sweet. Can’t recommend enough 🤍

This is what I call a perfect scent. I love how much texture it has. You can feel the musk. You can smell what the oud is doing without smelling oud. The orange blossom is only playing harmony. She is not the star. The Tonka is there keeping the scent dry. You can smell the resinous addition from the Ambroxan. Every character is playing its role and everyone is getting along. This is like my new signature scent. At least for the moment.

This perfume PERFORMS, especially for something that is often regarded as a “your skin but better” fragrance. I don’t get much of L'eau Papier or Another 13. I do see similarities with Phlur Missing Person though, 312 is much stronger. The orange blossom definitely dominates this fragrance for the first hour or two. It dries down to a floral musk with some powdery facets. I believe I’m also smelling gardenia but it’s not listed.

This is a chic modern take on a classic profile. I find it to be quite original, as well. This is an easy reach type of fragrance.. I get lots of pink pepper, which I really love. The florals are soft on me, but the woody ambroxan really comes through. I can see the similarity to Another 13, but that one never worked for me. I’m really loving the house of BDK more and more all the time and this one really fits with their style.

Gorgeous GORGEOUS soft clean lightly spicy floral scent. Just 😍😍😍 ughhhh. I was looking for grìs charnel but summery thinking rouge or pas ce soir would be the one but this stole my heart out of the miniatures set! Definitely addictive due to the ambroxan, keeps you wanting to go back and sniff it again and again. This is my favourite for the gym, interesting clean scent that isn't so strong it'll offend others 😍

For me, THIS is the true Parisian Musk, not the one from Matiere Première, which is actually more of a "Parisian Fig." The first word that comes to mind is: elegant. The opening reminds me of Delina La Rosée by Parfums de Marly, but it's less girly, more elegant, with a lovely iris running through it. The drydown takes me straight to Another 13 by Le Labo. Masterfully blended. A pleasure to wear.

I usually don’t agree with the “reminds me of” section, but this definitely smells like L’eau Papier. L’eau Papier is more of an intimate skin scent from beginning to end. Whereas, 312 Saint Honore’ immediately projects and has sillage. If you like the former you’ll most likely enjoy this, that is unless you hate ambroxan. Although more gentle L’eau Papier seems to have better longevity.

So clean and lovely. It's like a lactonic scent without the milk, if that makes any sense. Very creamy, fresh, but dense smell of musk combined with sweet, almost gourmand, ambers framed by flowers. The scent bubble it forms around you is so enjoyable; every time I catch a whiff of it - my mood goes up. It's so good! Makes a great everyday scent without feeling too plain and simple.

This smells different on me every time I wear it. At times it's simply gorgeous, soft, sophisticated musk with warm florals in the background, other times it's sharp white musk against a faint dustiness and nothing else. One time it turned into a peppery ambroxan bomb a la the gentle fluidity gold. Definitely sample this a few times before buying.

This fragrance is the cooler older sister to Glossier You and Juliette has a gun Not a Perfume. She’s the doll, the moment and the girls that get it, get it. This was my favorite scent from BDK and I stand by that no shade. This is a beautiful sophisticated skin scent perfect for fans of Glossier You who are looking for a step up.

Tried this one yesterday for work. Upon the initial spray you get a bit overwhelming hit of pepper. I quite love this note, but it is a bit much even for me. The pepper is REALLY peppering. Once that subsides you are left with a lovely scent of soft florals, musk and ambroxan. Very classy perfume and a huge compliment getter.

I really like this one. Enough to pull the trigger for the full size. It's unusual but very classy and discreet and you won't smell like anyone else. The tonka seems to suck the freshness out of the orange blossom so you are left with an orangey powder with white musk and ambroxan. It's giving expensive hotel lobby vibes.

This, on me, is powdery, clean, floral elegance. This projects much more than my other perfumes. I only need one spray. I often wear it to the office and get compliments. When I wear it I picture an elegant Parisian woman with her hair up in an effortlessly chic outfit. Bought the full bottle after loving my sample.

@HooperG i own a full bottle of this, and its unisex for me. unisex fragrances becomes a different scent on each gender, on my skin it smells more like creed royal oud with no citruses. on a woman it smells similar to rojas isola sol. only has women reviewving it because this brand is so underrated for men

I don't like florals, I almost exclusively stick with resiny, spicy, vanilla. Lately I have been on the lookout for something I can wear on warmer days that reads soft and feminine without being gourmand. This fits that for me. It is like the warmest, fuzziest, softest, baby pink blanket you can find.

Beautiful and sophisticated Eau de Parfum, which to my nose takes the best from L'Eau Papier and makes it even better, warmer, and more comforting. It also doesn't have the more aggressive bright note in L'Eau Papier. This smells like a day in the library in the fall. On me this has great longevity.

This one is beautiful, elegant and modern, very musky. Somehow it calms down my nervous system, such a peaceful fragrance. I can use it in every season. The sillage is moderate, but in this scent category this is totally optimal. It leans feminine I could not imagine it on a man.

at first this smells like library to me. then the more i wear it the more it reminds me of fresh printed cash . this is indeed an old money style fragance. i can pull it off wearing all white linen clothes or a suit very long lasting on clothes, proyects like crazy on a windy day

Wow, this is beautiful. Another stunner from BDK. It’s ever so slightly sweet, whispery (but not weak!), feminine, effortlessly chic, clean with a touch of warmth. An easy reach for sure, perfect for days when you don’t want to think too hard about what fragrance to wear.

Another 13 : addictive but somewhat missing a little something. 312 saint honore: same alluring qualities but has more a exquisite dry down, the floral (iris) blooms on skin. Altogether there is a more expensive aura with this perfume. I’m glad it’s not as well known.

On the first spray, I wasn’t sure about this one. As I let it set on my skin, it became a beautiful floral and musk mixture. Then after about an hour, I started to realize holy cow this smells just like Valaya’s older sister.

If Leau Papier has an androgenous sibling brother. for me? its more "INKY & pandan, peppery musky note. I remember when i bought new release vogue magazine. The musky inky woody note that stays longer than diptique.

OMG, HOW BEAUTIFUL 312 SAINT HONORÉ IS ! It's such a beautiful musky perfume , on the skin it's delicious, sensual. I love the way they work on this formula. BDK is definitely one of the best house imo

this fragrance is so sophisticated and striking!! i absolutely love it and wear it as often as possible. it feels aloof, sexy, maybe tastefully romantic? it feels cold in any case, which i adore.

To me and my worldwide experience, this is smell of luxury, wealth and money, in the most class-y way possible. Love from the first sniff. You will never go wrong with that fragrance.

Spotlessly clean. Should have been called Ceramic. Interested to try Andrea Maack now to compare. I’m awestruck by the blend, it stands out among other skin scents. Very special.

This is a beautiful feminine, slightly sweet, soft powdery musk. I have gotten many compliments and it's so comforting. I bought a 10ml decant and now I am buying a FB.

Changing my rating from 🙁 to 🙂. I was right this smells so good when it's warmer outside. Warm dry clean musk that is not too powdery or sweet.

For a musk and ambroxan fragrance, this is potent! 🔥. This smells like a powdery orange. I think this could be worn year round.
