Impadia

I wore my decant for the first time on a mild spring evening after showering. I used one spray of Impadia on each of my wrists and was immediately greeted by a realistic rose that soon developed into a pungent earthy scent. I was trying to get cozy but the scent was keeping me awake and I was unable to relax. Eventually it transformed into a creamy and mildly sweet sandalwood that I was transfixed by. I awoke to the smell of Impadia still on my skin and with the realization that this was not a bedtime scent. It took me about four wears before I feel in love. Impadia is a photorealistic rose with large vibrant fluffy petals and a green freshly cut steam. The pear and orange blossom are crisp and fresh but remain in the background. There is an earthy note from the akigalawood that I still find challenging but I am not turned off by, and now after becoming familiar with this fragrance I understand the balance that it provides. The dry down is my favorite part, it is a is a beautiful , addicting, ineffable vanilla and sandalwood. Impadia is the strongest and best performing scent I have worn from BDK.. I rate her a 9/10. Impadia is smooth, sensual, elegant, luxurious, and just a little dark and edgy. Layering suggestions: Being Freshe Desert Rose. Blends together beautifully and really emphasized the roses in Impadia. Added freshness and lighted up earthy notes. The base is still beautiful and creamy D&G My Devotion. A little niche DNA and a little designer DNA that comes together in a feminine creamy floral bomb. My Devotion brings out the sweetness. Striking and interesting but not hard to understand. Sensual, feminine, but more approachable. Softened the edges of Impadia. Victor and Rolf Flowebomb. Girly but elevated. The patchouli adds a kick to the creaminess in Impadia that is very sexy. Both scents play off each other beautifully but mind how many sprays you use.

The palest petal pink liquid, it applies as a very pretty sweet floral with something herbal lingering around the opening that could only be coming from the woods of the listed notes. It’s opening isn’t distinctly pear, bergamot or Mandarin. Nor is it overwhelmingly rosy, but rose is detectable. A soft fragrance, one of gentle warmth. It would be great for those who might want to venture into rose but aren’t interested in smelling distinctly of rose. I have to reapply because it’s initially too delicate to tease out as much as I’d like. On reapplication, the pear is apparent but pretty brief and the herbal note is thyme, a nice pairing. This fragrance is so soft, not at all what I was expecting when I sampled it on a card in a shop. There, it was fruity and robust. Initially, the sillage is quite modest. Others would have to be in close contact to notice. But it’s lovely thus far. Then after about 12 minutes, the roses begin to bloom. Still soft, but you’re soon in a drift of pillowy blooms. This blooming continues but it’s more an armful of gathered garden blooms. There is no formality or tea rose precision and form. These roses are big, blousy and loose. These are your grandmother’s roses but not your grandmother’s fragrance. Your grandmother’s arms, where age is an abstract, but the comfort real. After 30 minutes, the base notes, particularly the vanilla absolute, tease their way forward, giving some backbone to the composition. The whole remains airy, lofty, especially suited to spring or early summer. Those of you acquainted with Northern Hemisphere climes might understand when I say wear this through June. It’s a lovely pairing for the freshness of spring and the early, airy sun warmed buzz that sets summer in motion for that one perfect month.

This one is oh so addicting to me! Yes I’m a male and yes it’s a feminine scent. I don’t mind it at all. Usually I have strong I won’t say hate but let’s say dislike for Rose in scents. Coming from Bulgaria I grew up with the scent of pure rose oil (we profuse it there) and it always had this grandma quality about it. But this one is oh so good! Maybe the only other rose I can tolerate (but somehow I can’t wear it since I’m not confident enough) is tom ford noir de noir. By no means are these two roses similar. This one is soft and creamy and powedery and lipstiky and oh soooo good. Idk why but I can pull a nice extremely feminine scent anytime. I had my eye on this one and today finally pulled the trigger! It’s woody but creamy woody and jammy and that pear combo and it’s musky but in a creamy Milky Way (at least on my skin). It does remind me of the rose in Dalina (my sisters owns that one) but this one is somehow woodier and idk if I’m the only one but this one has this woody creamy airy undertone there is in Valaya (not the same scents just a certain small note or undertone idk how to explain it) probably the akigala wood idk I’m not that familiar. I’m gonna rock this one in the summer (yes you heard me in the summer lol) Longevity is extrem on me it’s been 14 hours and I can still smell it very close to my skin (mostly sandal wood with slight rosiness and warm skin effect). Projection is also extremely good on my skin. Definitely feminine! If you’re a man who doesn’t mind wearing feminine scents give it a try but it’s 95% made for the ladies. Never tried guidance so I can’t really tell but there are definitely similarities with Dalina. If you normally hate dark heavy grandma roses give this a try maybe you will like it.

very very strong bergamot/mandarin/rose opening on me - heavy on the bergamot! it's not unpleasant but has a definite citrusy boost to it. after about an hour the opening fades away to leave behind a delicate and fresh rose, with a bit of complexity from the different rose notes and the orange blossom. very feminine and pretty, but i wouldn't say it's a linear floral, the sandalwood and akigalawood kind of peek out to give it a bit of depth. after a few hours the vanilla starts to come through - very lightly, i definitely wouldn't call it a vanilla perfume - and after more hours the wood comes out in a stronger way to create a sort of warmer profile, making a very interesting transition over the course of the day! it never stops being a rose perfume but its exact nature sort of evolves. it's very strong, especially at first, you shouldn't need to reapply. interestingly on my mother the opening skipped almost immediately, with basically no citrus effect at all. i also didn't smell it on the paper particularly, i think the opening notes vary a lot by person. i'm not sure i understand the delina comparison since i find delina a little overly floral? i haven't smelled guidance so i can't comment. this is a definite 'young female protagonist' perfume - pretty, rosy but complex, slightly sexy, down-to-earth.

Delina Exclusif and Amouage Guidance are my all time favourite, but given the heavy the earthy and woody notes, I shy away from wearing them during the day, as my daytime looks don’t always match the sophistication and elegance that the scent projects. Now, Impadia, on the other hand, is a bit like the younger sister and has a brighter opening and more lightweight powdery dry down that matches my daytime looks but carries the same fruity floral DNA that brings me so much joy. I love wearing this and can see myself wearing this throughout the cooler rainy seasons. I wished the brightness of the pear would last a little bit, but nonetheless still very happy with how much attention this scent attracts. It definitely leans very feminine, mature but not old and outdated, and is a versatile day to night scent and it lasts on my skin a good 10 hours. Recommended!

I already have Guidance, Guidance 46 and Delina. I adore them and numerous times have I layered them together - This is basically that, with a little fizziness added. That fizziness reminds me of Fleur Majesty Rose Royale by Kayali. It’s really beautiful and if you don’t have any of the other mentioned, just get this one. Will save you some money, that’s for sure. On the other hand, if you love Guidance like I do, this will not satisfy you. Delina on the other hand could in my opinion be easily replaced by this one. But that’s just my preference. I also have to mention that it gave me a more youthful vibe bc of the fizziness. It does not come off as sophisticated but that all comes down to what mood you’re in and what you want to represent on that particular day/occasion. Nevertheless, gorgeous fragrances.

The most beautiful scent I have ever come across. My skin chemistry eats perfumes and I usually don’t like rose, but this one completely surprised me. It’s soft, airy, and powdery. On my skin, it smells like a gentle rose blended with powdered vanilla and a smooth, elegant softness that never becomes sharp. It can become a bit cloying in very hot weather, but otherwise this is a safe blind buy in my eyes. I would rate it 10/10. It’s sweet and feminine without ever becoming overly sweet. I think it's way better than PDM Delina and I can't find any other rose scents that matches this one. My husband also wears this, and on him the rose and woody notes come out more. He loves it as well, and says it’s very similar to Initio “Can't Get Enough”. It smells really nice on him as well. Downside it's expensive.

I am a man and i see a lot of women wearing this and here it's rated as a female fragrance. But im here to tell you if you're a man you can still wear this, this is not only my opinion, I was with two of my girl friends and they both said I smelled amazing and asked what I was wearing and I said like oh thanks that's impadia, and then I asked them like do you think this smells wery womanly or female, and they said like, no it smells like maby unisex and they said I managed to pull it off very nice, there is also a fragrance influencer with 240k followers who wears it. And it is also a powerhouse fragrance this lasts forever. So yea basically I just wanted to say that if you like a fragrance and are comfortable and like wearing it just do it, most likely you will pull it off.

So I want to sum this up - it really does have some notes similar to Guidance, Delina and Atomic Rose... but I would say it is a perfect balance of all of them and whilst I DID NOT like Delina and Guidance, I actually do like Impadia, it is more balanced. It is a very creamy, photorealistic rose with pear notes. But it is SOOOO strong and long lasting that I can't spray it on my neck or hair because it is that overpowering! So if you are looking for something with crazy longevity, this is it! All in all, I like it but test it before buying! And it is definitely not an everyday fragrance because it has such a strong presence. Also, one spray is more than enough, so I would go for a travel size rather than full bottle, if you are interested in buying.

Impadia proved testing a perfume a few times before concluding especially when it comes to niche fragrances. My first experience with a decant of Impadia i though it was just ok, super long lasting but i felt it was just meh and couldn't understand what the fuss over the perfume was about. I decided to try it again and yes i get it.. i really get it! A beautiful fragrance, what you will get if you layer Guidance 46 with Delina Exclusif, however it is not redundant even if you already have these in your collection. A pretty sweet feminine fragrance with great performance. If like me your 1st impression was meh, please give it another go it will most likely be worth it especially at it's price point.

Walked into a perfume shop and this was an instant purchase. As a male, I love clean and sweet and femininr leaning scents, this one really got my attention. I seriously can’t stop sniffing my wrist. I love Guidance, but people around me don’t, because it’s loud and super strong (which I love). Impadia feels like Guidance turned down a notch: more floral, sweeter, and way more crowd friendly. Imagine Guidance mixed with Lancôme Idôle Power. It’s still amazing and powerful, just less sour and more sweet. For me, this is Guidance made wearable and at half the price. Again, this is NOT a dupe, more like an inspired by. If you love sexy and seductive scents, this is a no brainer.

I am in love with this scent. I know everyone says it is like Guidance and Delina had a baby, and if so, I prefer the baby to the parents. I don't love Delina...it's a bit too floral and girly for me. (I do kind of like Delina Exclusif, but not enough to buy a bottle for myself). I've tried Guidance and wasn't blown away. But Impadia captured my heart. It has a creaminess that makes it a bit sultry, but not so much that it becomes unsuitable for certain occasions. It's perfectly feminine and sophisticated. It lasts and projects so well that it is a good value as well, IMO. I have many bottles in my collection and to me this is a gorgeous and unique scent.

Transitioning roses, nice, & smooth. Opens with Bulgarian rose/ pear, orange & citrus. Dries down w jammy Bulgarian rose, other rose & smooth sweet vanilla. Not too much oud or sandalwood but it does have a depth that keeps it thick, warm. It’s a medium bubble that scents the air with movement. Safe blind buy if you enjoy rose & vanilla & very smooth transitions. Fem leaning. As the roses fade away, the vanilla & woods scent takes over. The vanilla, oud, & sandalwood would be a hit without the roses. Unfortunately, this goes from a small bubble to an intimate scent in 3 hours. It is still worth a full bottle.

I absolutely loathe the smell of Guidance-the pear, hazelnut and rose combo makes me nauseous. Impadia is said to smell like Guidance's little sister so I was taking a big risk by buying it blindly. Fortunately for me, it turned out to be a gorgeous rose forward, fruity cloud. Sweet pear in the opening and a dense rose that lasts through entire wear. Impadia is a sillage monster and leaves a major scent trail.I got many compliments and several people asked me to write the name down for them. It lasts 12 hours on my skin and longer on clothing. No need for touch ups-this has to be washed off my skin.

I need not repeat the Delina / Guidance comparisons below which are fairly accurate (80% similar for each to my nose). But I have to add a scent comparison I haven’t seen mentioned before. Anyone familiar with the classic UK sweets Fruit Salads, the opening and a fair few hours into the dry down this smells almost exactly how those taste! Those are meant to be raspberry and pineapple flavoured, although I have always thought they were more generic nondescript ‘fruity’ - a fruit salad indeed. The opening fruits here are bang on. I find the sweets delicious, and so I find this perfume delicious too.

I have Guidance and Delina and now Impadia. I sprayed one on each of my wrists and one on my upper arm for comparisons. Waited for the one hour dry down. I can confirm that Impadia is exactly in between Guidance and Delina. Guidance is smoother and the best blended. Delina has the best and most pronounced rose note. Impadia comfortably sits with the muted qualities of both. Not quite as strong of rose, but a smoother blend like guidance. If this perfume would have been released before my wedding, it would have been my signature bridal scent.

BDK's Impadia by Jordi Fernández is an amazing fragrance. This is the first scent from BDK that I ever got my nose on. This feels like a combination of some other notable Fragrance that Fernández has created. I feel like this is slightly feminine leaning but I still do love wearing this scent. The duo of roses utilized by Jordi Fernández is photorealistic and is projected wildly through the use of Akigalawood. The dry down is beautiful with creamy sandalwood accentuated through his use of vanilla. Smell the Stank and experience the mastery.

People tend to call this feminine, but u tend to disagree. It evokes memories of my childhood when downtown Johannesburg was a fresh fruit market paradise. The softest juiciest pears and the freshest florals from the accompanying florists across the street. It made me smile the first time I smelt it. The projection is beautifully balanced and so is spillage, it embraces those you pass by and leaves a lasting sweet warm embrace. I've never been to Paris, but this little 100ml bottle made the hype around it's sunset'S beauty very believable.

To me this one is much more wearable than Guidance. As many people said it here while these two share some similarities they have a very different vibe. Guidance is a mature elegant lady in a night gown while Impadia is a younger more edgy woman in a suit. The opening on this is also loud but less confusing. Impadia has an amazing sillage and longevity, it easily lasts 10 hours on me, which is very rare for me. I love wearing this when I want to feel confident and sexy. The bottle is gorgeous too.

Never have I ever... This perfume is perfection ! Blind bought this recently and I can’t get away form my wrist when I’m wearing it. Deep rose and sandal wood. The best sandalwood I have smelled for years. I cannot believe the massive silage trail and the enormous projection and longevity ... I have worn around 500 perfumes in my life - and nothing comes close to this. My senses says euphoria. This is without comparisons my top 5 list of best ever scents. I can’t wait to make this my signature.

Impadia is definitely a smoother version of Guidance, with a hefty dash of Delina mixed in. It is unique on its own due to the Delina (floral notes). If you LOVE Guidance though, I would stick to buying that. However, if you want many fragrances within that same Guidance family, this should be a definite add to your collection. I love BDK perfumes, but sadly they all sit very close on my skin and don't last long. I wish they had nuclear projection and longevity like Amouage fragrances do.

Just got a sample of this. Really lovely fragrance but it smells identical to Future Society Solar Canopy. I tried both wrists and can’t tell the difference. I’m also seeing a lot of similarities to Amouage Guidance 46 but this is an easier wear. There’s a lot of fruity/rose combo fragrances out right now so it’s not exactly groundbreaking but it is well blended nonetheless. It’s a little strong for day time wear but perfect for a night out. I got about 8 hours of longevity.

I bought a decant of this and put it on before going to dinner with my family at an outdoor venue. A man came straight up to me and asked what I was wearing. I told him. He pulled it up on his phone and bought a bottle for his wife. The bartender who saw this happen said...."You do smell really good". I feel like it's a very chic rose. It's bright. It's "pink". It smells like the bottle looks, if that makes sense. I just love it and will be looking to get a full bottle.

I blind brought a FB of Rose Blaze. It reminded me of Impadia, so I decided to revisit my sample... Then I fell in love with Impadia. It's a beautiful creamy, vanilla, rose. I've purchased a full bottle of it. On my skin, Impadia is much better in the cooler weather. During the warms months, I find it too much. As a side note, someone described Rose Blaze as a more unisex version of Impadia and I agree with that description. Both are created by Jordi Fernández.

Spending money makes me angry. However, a friend of mine gave me her traveler of Impadia. I could not come up with the coins fast enough to add this to my collection. Total olfasm every time I smell it now. Eyes roll way back, lol. But it didn't happen the first time I sprayed it. Initially, it came off as ordinary. The depth revealed itself after about my third time testing it. I loathe floral heavy scents, but I absolutely adore this. Blended to perfection.

The opening is a blast of sweet sparkling juicy/fruity/floral notes, but on the dry down this quickly melts into a beautiful warm, creamy, nutty, woody rose. The longevity is around 8 hours for me and the projection is great - it’s by far my most complimented fragrance. Paris. A sunny spring morning. Walking along a tree lined street in your favourite arrondissement with a spring in your step and a huge bunch of fragrant roses.

On the blotter seemed like Delina’s twin sister, maybe tad bit introverted but on my skin the whole vibe and mood is different. This is more creamy, musky, wooden, but that is technicality and means less to me than the picture I get. Impadia is silky, it’s light beam seeping through the rose, it is more grownup and polished, luxury hotel dinner while Delina is younger, brighter, theatrical. One is creamy and other juicy! 💖

The first sprays burst with roses and citruses. Few minutes after, vanilla. Few minutes after wood and incense. Considering Jordi’s Fernandez fascination in Arabic culture and perfume, this beautifully peaks through. Wow! People who say it’s like delina and amouage guidance had a baby - I fully agree, it’s just a bit darker. I would not fully agree it’s gourmand though! Do Impadia a justice and don’t test it on a strip.

I was given a sample of BDK Impadia, I sprayed it one morning and woman from the bus told me this is too much and I need to spray less, that is when I understood we are compatible with the perfume. It reminded me of Amouage, which is overpriced imo. Finally I bought myself a bottle of Impadia and I just can't get enough, I want to swim in the pool with Impadia water in it. Some people likes it (most of them), some not.

Today i went to work with this fragrance and the moment i came in the building i already got 2 compliments from my co-workers while greeting them, What you got on? Smells good and the other one was you smell nice. Later in the afternoon another compliment, what you got on, i need this one. After al these nice compliments i need to make it my signature fragrance now. The sillage/ Projection is very good!

Love, love, love this one. I actually came across it because a friend who is attending perfumery school told me to follow the perfumer, not just the brand, if you love their niche work, their other creations will hit just as beautifully. That led me here through Jordi Fernandez, and wow... it’s bright, rosy, and effortlessly elegant with this soft, glowing warmth. Such a pretty, addictive wear. 🌹 💕

I think it’s one of the best releases of BDK Parfums so far. This perfume is so sensual , so creamy and floral. You feel like you are on a cloud made of woody musks , bergamote and vanilla. The combination between the rose essence and the rose absolute is amazing . Jordi Fernandez is a true genius !!! the perfume is becoming more powdery at the end which is not for me my biggest thing

Definitely a Guidance+Delina baby, although leaning more on Guidance to my nose. Just lighter, in the best possible way! The rose in this is beautiful (not as screechy as Delina) and I find Impadia way more easier to wear than Guidance. Beautiful scent ❤️ (Maaaybe not as good as Guidance 46, but Impadia has a much nicer price tag, so I'll go for it 😅😉)

A rich and elegant scent with a fruity-creamy opening that feels smooth and enveloping. Soft powdery notes blend seamlessly with sweet woody accords, creating a warm, sensual character. Smells like an Arab perfume mixed with shampoo in a good way. The dry down has a similar smell to guidance 46 dry down. Leaves the loveliest scent trail. The opening smells too spicy for my liking but it settles down after an hour. Overall, I loveee it and it turned out to be a great blind buy.

Adorable rose perfume. It's with that sweet fruit-rose note, which is quite popular in modern rose interpretations (Delina, Rose Whip, Roses Vanille etc). I think it's quite lovely, but if you have any of the others then you probably don't need this. But it's cute nevertheless.

I understand why is this so popular. Such a beautiful rose wood combination, without cloying feeling. It also lasts for hours on my skin, which is an incredible achievement in its own. If I ever wanted to get another full bottle of any perfume, this would be the next one. Love!

Yes it has the Delina flavor but it lasts longer on me (both OG and Exclusif). The dry down is better in this one than the Delinas. It’s a sophisticated, feminine rose fragrance, a beautiful scent. Sillage is also impressive, BDK Parfums is slowly becoming my favorite house!

As others have noted, very similar to Guidance 46. I actually prefer this one; whereas 46 is so dominated by the akigalawood and rose, this one seems less compromised and retains more of the citrus. Impadia is just slightly more balanced to my nose.

Speechless... I just feel fruity, smooth, addictive, creamy, and fresh scent i’ve ever sniffed. I believe this will be “The best niche fragrance for female 2026”. Honestly i just feel all natural ingredients. Not synthetic one. You must have it!!!!

So weird -- I used to love this scent (I even wrote a very positive review before), but now I can't stand it. If I spray it on my skin now, it makes me gag 😭 It just feels too heavy, too sweet, and too overpowering. Clearly not for me anymore.

This is in my top 10! If you love Parfums de Marly Delina Exclusif or Kayali Fleur Majesty Rose Royale or even Ledda Scenic Rose - which I do - then you should try Impadia. It is beautiful and my fiancé loves it, too.

I honestly had to do a double take on this one. Was certain I was wearing Guidance 46. Hit all same notes and longevity and sillage was just as beastly as G46. Maybe G46 is a little creamier. But very close for me.

Fragrantica should disable voting on a fragrance until 24-48 hours after the release date. There have been several new releases where it has been difficult to discern actual "real" feedback vs. disgruntled trolls.

Guidance and Delina's love child. I can smell it in a glass decant from two feet away. Projection is wild. Not a safe blind buy but you'll certainly get your money's worth if you do-- she's potent, 1-2 spray max.

I dont care if it leans feminine. I really adore this scent!!. Juicy zesty and sweet rose fragrance with creamy undertone roll into one amazing bottle. I can’t get enough of it and it really lasts!

This smells like a heavily concentrated rose water and oil hybrid. I didn’t do a full smell test this is an initial opinion! It smells rich and I didn’t get reminded of anything when I smelt it.

So good fresh sweet rose with good dry down 3.9 is so low for this masterpiece this is a must try rose is not my cup of tea but this is different

I wanted to love this one so bad but for some reason the citrus and rose is overpowering and I can't get jiggy with it😒 hard NO for me
