Coconut Paradise is a huge coconut bomb on first spray. It immediately brings to mind beach time with a healthy slathering of Hawaiian Tropic sunscreen. Then, as it starts to develop, you begin to smell the synthetic nature of the fragrance. Somewhere behind the sweet coconut is a strange, plastic-like note that fades during dry down but never disappears. Not sure, but this may be what's causing so many to review negatively. Like most of the Layered single note perfumes, I find that they work best paired with other fragrances, because their synthetic nature is tolerably masked. This one is no exception. So if you feel like you'd like to add a beachy, tropical spin to any of your existing fragrance collection, this might be your golden ticket.

An extremely straight-forward coconut, that gets a little powdery and soapy in the dry down. On its own, it's probably a bit too linear, but I actually think this is a bonus as I could see this layering beautifully with a sweet floral, a heavy amber or a syrupy gourmand. It's fresh and clean and I get good projection and longevity.

Lighlty sweet coconut. Perfect for layering. Fair scent. Smells similar to their Vanilla Dreams fragrance but with hints of coconut.

A straightforward creamy coconut scent. Very strong on first spray but settles into a skin scent.

This is a single note coconut fragrance and while it does smell like coco Lopez, it smells artificial, overly sweet and, again, powdery. All be layered scents I’ve tried are powdery. This is also very disappointing

Starts off with a blast of coconut then fades into a baby powder scent but not super powdery smelling.

Good scent for layering! Not sure why the bad reviews. I love these single note scents for creating my own special smells!
