Dolled Up

What a delightful, light, grab and go, floral and warm fragrance! I love it and I can't get enough of smelling it. It goes on and stays the same as the scent wears down, but it begins to smell a little softer. It's a floral made to smell like YSL Supreme Bouquet, which I never never smelled. The Dolled Up fragrance I just adore - maybe it's the tuberose I don't know how to describe it but sometimes when I want to smell something nice and sweet, I'll go for this. Sweet, tuberose, floral and soft. It lasts about 3 hours on me maybe longer, I can't tell because I always want more even if it's still smellable on my skin. It's not a "fine" fragrance like Coco Madamoiselle, but it is down to earth, daytime and friendly, not business, but a "relaxed fit." Again, I just love it. I'd like to smell Supreme Bouquet someday but just don't see it in the stores so Dolled Up will work just fine. Just fine.

All of the Be Layered fragrances are serious powerhouses. They last forever and project like crazy, and Dolled Up is no exception. I definitely agree with some of these reviews - it is so strong that it might be one's first inclination to wear this during the cooler months, but I suggest that you be brave! This fragrance shines so spectacularly during the summer - the tart fruity notes take a back seat, and allow the tuberose and ylang to shine. In the summer heat, it seems to sparkle! When I first got this (December) it really let me down, as it seemed to be an oddly dusty, sour scent, but I'm so glad that I didn't gift it away, as was my intention. My favorite way to wear this is layered with a sweet orange blossom fragrance - I often reach for Parfum de Marly's Safanad or Elie Saab's Le Parfum Intense.

I haven't smelled Supreme Bouquet, but Dolled Up is a great and unique tuberose perfume. I haven't smelled a floral like this one. It's rich and full, so opulent. Warm and meant for wearing with evening dress. I smell mostly tuberose and ylang-ylang, rich with amber and musk, fruity but not sour. For a grown-up lady. Based on this fragrance, I would feel comfortable purchasing Supreme Bouquet as a solid like, or as a gift for an elegant woman (like my mom!)
