First Kiss

For those wondering, this is an interpretation of Delina by Parfums de Marly. First kiss is smooth, creamy, and a very close match with a little less tartness and a sweeter powder. The bottle in my opinion is lovlier than PdM's line...which reminds me of opaque Bath and Body Works lotion bottles from the early 2000's. I'd rather display my layered perfumes on my dresser. I now own a travel spray of Delina (PdM), Lady Diana (Alexandria Fragrances) and First Kiss (Be Layered) so I could see how well they performed. Original Delina: Plush, bright, citrus notes with rhubarb in the opening, blush roses, vanilla powder, and incense. Lady Diana: More intense opening but not as bright. 95% similar. Slightly better sillage than First Kiss. First Kiss: No citrus detected, more powder in the opening, sweeter overall, more distinct lychee, wears less intense than Lady Diana but same intensity as Delina. 90% similar. Edit: It was confirmed that First Kiss and Lady Diana are identical, so what I experienced must be due to one being a little older and more settled. That settles that! These are all my personal opinion, but I hope it helps you!

This is very, very much a dupe of Delina (please see my review of it). This however opens with a sharper, more pungent rhubarb and slightly more chemical scent in the first 5 minutes. It dries down considerably though, and becomes even sweeter than Delina. The gourmand notes seem more amplified, but Delina has a *slight* edge in quality. FK is a tad bit more unrefined. To anyone not literally basking in it personally (bystanders), I think they'd be indistinguishable. You'd only really notice the discrepancy if you huffed the fragrance, which I have. After hours of wear I still get wafts of it when I move around, and it's addictive. I know perfume is terrible for hair, but I can't help but spray it into my hairline and the back of my neck, it's absolutely perfect for that and trails around like a beautiful beast. The longevity is spectacular!

Youtuber Simply Chic Life reviewed this as a duplicate for Delina made by Parfums de Marly. Everybody raves about Delina so I thought I'd try the dup, since it's supposed to be so close and much more affordable. I love the dup! Never having smelled Delina, I don't know what it smells like and I'm not sure that I care. First Kiss smells so good and lasts so long, is the original really necessary? It smells like the Delina bottle looks, soft, pink and beautiful. It's good for day, evening, romance, everything and I do love it. It makes me also look at other Be Layered fragrances as the quality is so high. This is a wonderful, soft and feminine parfum, do not hesitate to blind buy. It's quite unique too. I normally like the deeper, darker scents and I love this one because it is so soft and something I can add to my collection.

I recently received my first order of Be Layered. It consisted of 55ml First Kiss and 10ml F@ck Me. I have never smelled Delina but I do own Paco Rabanne Olympea so was surprised that First Kiss smelled A LOT like Olympea whereas F@ck Me does not. I thought F@ck Me was supposed to smell like Olympea. I wrote the company and they mentioned that the formulas need a week or two to macerate but it's been a week and I still smell what I did when I first opened both bottles. It's unfortunate because I really do like the way F@ck Me smells and it is very different from my other scents. I am fairly certain that my order was not completed correctly but am wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with their order.

To me, this is a really good dupe considering the price. Like 95 % dupe. The DNA of Delina is present. To me, the main differences are found in the opening : there is in First Kiss a citrusy note (like citronella as someone said) that I do no smell in Delina. Fortunately, It does not last too long. Regarding the other difference, compared side by side, Delina smells more refined and sophisticated to me. The lasting power is great with FK (but it lasts longer on clothes though). Honestly it is a good dupe for this price. The only donwside is that weird citronella note in the opening but it disappears after several minutes).

First Kiss is a bit more intense than Delina, but it's at least 95% dupe if not 98%, I'm shocked. All the notes in First Kiss are a bit sharper in a way and Delina is more realistic in floral notes. There is a fizzy citrus—mist like note in First Kiss in the beginning, in Delina it's more rhubarby, but in about 10 minutes, when First Kiss has dried down, it gets creamy and they're literally identical. I kinda wanted to get Delina, because it also looks amazing, but now it would feel a bit redundant because I pretty much already have it. The projection and longevity are out of this world.

You can only buy this online from 'Be Layered' Nanavalente8. I love Delina, but am not willing to part with an arm and a leg for her. I have a sample of Delina and First Kiss. They are so alike that I would have difficulty picking the difference in a blind test. I love the slight sharpness the rhubarb note brings to both First Kiss and Delina. Vanilla is everywhere at the moment. It's refreshing to have a fragrance that doesn't end in vanilla. If vanilla is your thing then you will like First Kiss Exclusive, as that does dry down to vanilla.

Definitely agree with the other reviews that say 95% similarity to Delina. I have a decant of Delina and sometimes I prefer First Kiss to it because it lacks that soapiness that Delina can have. All around this is a beautiful scent that could be either a signature or a special occasion scent. It's clean, a little fruity, and just plain girly but not in the classic sweet way. My only complaint is that it can be a little nauseating at first, but I'd fight through it any day to smell like this!

It's so lovely!! At first this scent gave me a headache, but after let it settle for a few weeks, it doesn't bother me at all! It starts off tart and juicy. Then, it morphs into a slightly sweet, fresh (though not "green") rose. It dries down to a sweeter vanilla and slightly powdery smell, with a hint of the rose and freshness from the earlier stages. I only was able to smell the nutmeg once when i wore it, which is sad because it was glorious.

This is a beautiful fragrance! I have not smelled Delina so I can’t compare to that. This is the looooooooongest lasting fragrance I have personally ever used.

I own First Kiss & have sampled Delina & I find the 2 to be almost identical in their dry downs to my nose. Initially, I find First Kiss to be pretty peppery/spicy (more than I’d like, possibly from the nutmeg note), but after about 30 mins to an hour, the spiciness settles & it mirrors the beatiful rhubarb, litchi, & rose prominent dry down of Delina. One major difference I can note is the difference in the sillage & projection. First Kiss projects like a BEAST & leaves an enormous scent trail (be sure to tread lightly on the trigger, trust me lol). Whereas, Delina is quite the opposite: soft to moderate projection & sillage on me. I personally feel that for the type of fragrance this is, it is more beautiful when it softly announces itself rather than forcefully doing so; therefore, I tend to prefer Delina for that reason. However, First Kiss is lovely. Both fragrances had to grow on me as I learned that I prefer the aroma that envelops me after spraying them on rather than how it smells if I were to sniff the areas where I sprayed it.

First off...I like First Kiss. As it's own fragrance it is very pretty. However, First Kiss, at least to me, was much sweeter, and less fresh than Delina, which is what is trying to mimic. It lacks the zesty effervescence that Delina has and amps up the sugary rose. Or at least the batch I purchased does. Longevity and overall performance is great but it is not the best dupe out there. But if a sweeter more rosey less fresh version sounds like your thing, you will enjoy First Kiss. I agree with MissIvy in her recommendation of Alhambra's "DELILAH". Much closer to Delina than BeLayered First Kiss. I own both now and prefer Delilah over First Kiss. Hopefully it will be added to the Fragrantica database soon.

I'm trying to not compare it to Delina. I bought it because it's an impression of Delina, and in that regard, to me, it fails, but on its own merits it's actually quite nice. It opens with strong lychee and rhubarb, the nutmeg a little harsh for me but calms down after a few minutes. Then it just stays this really pleasant rose, fruity vibe, like a fruity bubble tea. Where it fails for me as a Delina dupe is it never calms down into this yummy, soft, ethereal vanilla-and-delicate-rose scent that Delina achieves, but that's okay. For what it is, it's good, and I like it. I will say that the sillage and projection on this are incredible, superior to Delina.

I have both First Kiss and Delina, and I enjoy both scents in different ways. Delina is very smooth, creamy and refined. First Kiss is her younger sister, with a fresher vibe and more piercing rhubarb note. I can detect the incense and nutmeg that someone else wrote here, and it has a spicy side that Delina doesn't have. Longevity is not bad, maybe 4-5 hours and better on clothes. It's definitely a good alternative for the price. Given the differences I like to have both, and use Delina more sparingly

This is supposed to be a dupe for Delina. While it smells quite close it is a little different. It's not as potent as Delina. It does smell amazing so if you don't want to come off those coins for Delina thus will work

too powdery rose. gives me a headache but I can understand why it is a lovely scent.

Smells exactly like citronella (the antimosquito sprays) and fruit loops.

First Kiss? Slight miss. Yet I still would totally recommend this perfume. Reading through the reviews a lot of you who have not smelt Delina are loving First Kiss and I get why! It's a dupe for one of the most popular niche fragrances out there! And it isn't a bad dupe, not at all. Its just... I am a crazy Delina lady. I've gone through two whole bottles. Delina is my ultimate wedding scent. So my nose really knows, ya know? Lemme break it down this way just to be fair.. Without comparison: First Kiss is a delightful fragrance that is youthful, likeable and energizing. Its flirty, but in a sporty kind of way. Sporty Spice would definitely stan. It's tart, if not upright sour in the opening and then mellows out into this musky-sweet white floral note that is pleasant. Projection and longevity is surprisingly strong for the price point! Really impressed! I STILL smelt it on my skin a full two days after testing and it still smelt nice. With comparison: To my nose, First Kiss falls short. More so in the opening than in the dry down but there are still a few key differences. I find First Kiss to be far more sour and sharp in the initial spray. I don't really get the lychee coming through as much as I would like it to. Delina is still pretty tart but less linear and sweeter right off the bat because of the lychee. The dry down is where Delina shines. She is rich and creamy and full of milky white florals. First Kiss is a touch more generically musky. Final thoughts: This is a copy cat of a stunning fragrance and it does a decent job. For the cost, it is totally worth buying. I recommend this if you also can't get a sample of Delina... though its fairly easy to get your hands on one. However, personally, Delina is my spring signature and it was unlikely that she would be dethroned as she has far too much sentimental value for me to ditch her EVEN though she is an expensive date...

I bought First Kiss without having ever tried Delina and I hated it. It's just sour and musky for hours and hours. Well I tried the real Delina and I LOVE the real Delina. It's fresher, sweeter, more rosey and not nearly as musky but still tart, its just beautiful. Way more balanced than First Kiss which smells harsh and chemical by comparison. But now at least I know how to cope with First Kiss - I find that when I layer this with a sweet fresh rose like Chloe Roses de Chloe this impression is somewhat bearable (this makes sense looking at each of the three note pyramids, Roses De Chloe boosts the Rose/Litchi note over the Rhubarb that overtakes this one and adds a lacking bergamot freshness). It's still lacking the particularly beautiful citrusy note of the original but it does achieve a similar effect. But I must confess I am set on getting the real deal after I finish this bottle. I would say this is not even a 70% dupe...the differences are so important. Sour musk does not a Delina make!

5/10 SO MUCH MUSK combined with sour rhubarb, smells good at first spritz because the sweet florals balance it out but then...you lose the sweetness and you're left musky and sour. The scent lasts so long especially clinging to clothes, I can take BARELY one spritz and it will cling to me for days. But I do love the opening...if only I could figure out how to make it last, perhaps layering (haha) it with a one-note sweet floral (Roses de Chloe?) will help. I would never wear this in the summer, it is so heavy and nauseating but I feel on a cool Fall day, this could be appropriate. Interestingly although my boyfriend does not like heavy perfumes and hates powdery scents with a passion, he does like musk and actually COMPLIMENTED me on my perfume when I wore this! Now that is a rare occurrence for me. It's truly bizzare, he seems to love musky smells so maybe I will keep this around in my collection for him.

I’ve never tried Delina, but this smells pretty similar to Nina Ricci’s Rose Extase. First Kiss is just more powdery and creamy. It smells like fruit mixed with those chalky heart candies for Valentine’s Day. Rose Extase are those hard strawberry and cream candies, but the raspberry is a little too loud on me. I’m happy I tried this out. I can stop wondering about Delina or getting a full bottle of First Kiss. I have something a similar.

This is the same exact scent as Alexandria Fragrances Lady Diana. Confirmed by Haney Hafez. It is a nice, fruity, rose scent. Is it similar to Delina? YES. very close 95%-98% dupe. I think Delina is just a smidgen more refined. But the difference is not worth the $320 price tag over this.

It smells like it's trying to be a Delina dupe, but it doesn't necessarily smell like Delina...like all the notes are there but aren't blended or proportioned correctly. I wouldn't recommend it. Surely, there are better dupes out there.

Very sharp and green. Interesting, but not something that I want to wear.

I was disappointed. I haven't tried Delina at all but what I've heard from others it is the best scent they've ever tried and therefore I felt like it was a safe option to blind buy. And I've heard that First Kiss is a 90-95% dupe to Delina so I went with this one. I bought it and expected to smell like a princess. But instead I smelled like a musky man. I've tried it and worn in a few times now and I really tried to make myself like it but I can't. I have gotten no compliments at all, instead someone just told me I ''smelled a lot'' while wearing this. It is too strong and musk. I smell no roses at all and I feel like this perfume would much better suit a man than a woman. Do not blind buy this if you expect to smell like a sweet and rosy princess, because you won't. The overpowering notes in this perfume are citrus and musk. I smell nothing else.

I have Delina....this does not come close. Delina is so much better....like once again...Vanilla Dreams...fail. Caramel Overdose....fail. Geneva Chocolate.....fail. And now First Kiss....so over priced for what you get. Total waste of money. Save your money, get on a discount site or Amazon, wait for a sale....get the real thing. This is just not it. No bueno!

It's a scrubber for me. The drydown on this stinks and it's so potent, that I have had to use rubbing or alcohol after multiple washes. I don't like anything from this line. There is an art form to fragrances fading and changing over time. These are so potent and loud and become tortuous since they never change or fade.

I really wanted to like this but unfortunately I don’t . It smells like burnt rubber on my skin. I have had this scent for a month now , but the scent is the same it never settled. Beware people this is not a blind buy . Get a sample before you purchase or you will be like me , disappointed.

It smells like expensive incense with a dash of rose. The rose is rotten that's for sure. Its similar but nothinng like the well blended and balanced Delina. Very harsh and potent perfume. Don't recommend buying the big bottle.

Its a good dupe for Delina but that small differentiation makes a difference for me. The incense comes out more in First Kiss. Delina is more sweet and floral, just well balanced but First Kiss smells more dark.

I really, really, really dislike this perfume. I had Delina and when I emptied that bottle I decided to try First Kiss just to see how similar they actually are. And they are similar, yes, but this is not a very good dupe of Delina in my experience. First Kiss has a really sharp, nauseating musk that lingers on clothes and does not go away no matter how many times you wash them!! I feel like puking and I get a headache every time I smell this. I found Delina loud, obnoxious and screechy but this is way worse! At least with Delina I could see what people liked about it and if I went real easy on the trigger I could tolerate it for an entire day, but First Kiss is just deadly and you can't get the smell off! Of course this is just my experience with it. My mom wears this sometimes and I can't stand the smell of it on her either. I've never gotten a compliment from First Kiss but I have with Delina. I don't recommend First Kiss at all! Just no. Cheap, loud, too much harsh musk. I'm literally gagging just thinking about it.

A YouTuber that raves about Delina said that this smells exactly like it and it’s the perfect dupe. It doesn’t smell like Delina at all. It’s very strong, powdery and smells synthetic. It will stay on for hours, but it comes with a headache and you will smell like an old lady. This is the first perfume that has made me nauseous. Delina is worth the money to me, and smells beautiful. Also, Belayered does NOT accept returns, so good luck if you buy from them and don’t like the fragrance.

Not sure if I got a dud but this smells exactly like incense. I cannot smell any of the lychee or rose notes, I only smell incense. I even let the bottle sit for 2 weeks since the manufacturer recommends you let their fragrances sit for 1 week to blend and mature, but that just made the incense smell worse. It is possible the manufacturer just added extra incense to substitute for the sharp rhubarb notes in the original Delina.

I can’t stand this! It’s nothing like the original Delina which is a masterpiece and so well blended! I stupidly blind bought this along with first kiss Exclusif which is so much better than this but still not as good as the original. This literally makes my stomach turn. I felt dizzy, nauseous and sick. Too sharp and bitter. Very sour! Not well blended or rounded at all. Absolute garbage! Literally the worst!

Stinks to the high heavens. I’m sorry, but this smells absolutely synthetic/plastic. I purchased it off of Mercari so I can’t return. I should’ve kept my money.

Let me just start off with stating the obvious - our body chemistry all differ from each other and so certain fragrances might pull differently on an individuals skin. So they might smell different separate on ones body, versus a paper taste as ingredients though the same might be different sources or qualities. That being said I did a youtube video comparison... a battle of the dupes if you will. I used however Delina Exclusiff as one of the companies (DUA) only had the specific version and I wanted a fair comparison with the same type of ingredients. I compared Be Layered, DUA, Dapper, and Julianna compared to the real original version. I later got Alexandria's as well which even still I preferred Be Layered. I of course did a paper test rather then skin test, and found BeLayered to be so close that you can hardly decipher much of a difference. I am also not a Fragrance snob... I do not believe that nothing can close to an OG fragrance or will a expensive fragrance that has such close spot on replicas for the sheer purpose of wearing a expensive fragrance and justify it by calling it superior. I go into much more detail in my video sharing the difference in each version and what was closest versus what I thought smelled better as I only like Delina and Delina exclusiff to the point I dont even care that I lost my decants - except even decants of it are ridiculously expensive.

Not Delina. The musk is too synthetic and harsh. And the nutmeg note is off. I would say yes, it smells LIKE Delina I guess sure, but a much cheaper, overly synthetic, overly musky, very badly blended version of her. It gets better in the dry down, but still they are not one and the same. A much better dupe is called Delilha by Parfum Alhambra. All these little brats recommending this one on YouTube, have the incentive of money, nothing more. And I fell for it, hook, line & sinker... If I were buying this first to decide if I liked the scent profile enough to blind buy Delina, I wouldn't have bought it in the end, believing the two were one and the same. They are not. It's hard to explain, because they do smell similar. I don't know what else to say or how to explain it other than Delina is a absolute masterpiece and this is just a synthetic mess. Try Delilha by Parfum Alhambra. If you like that one, you will certainly LOVE Delina. And it is only around $25-$35 on Ebay or fragrancenet.

I'm testing today. I have First Kiss on one wrist and Delina on the other, 2 sprays each. In the initial phase, I said, 'Ummmm, not *exactly*'. The opening is definitely not the same - there is more freshness/tart in Delina than First Kiss at that point. But I am now a couple/few hours in and at this point they smell nearly identical with First Kiss smelling stronger than Delina. I would say at this point First Kiss is more fresh/sharp (but not in a bad way) and Delina more creamy/subdued (never thought I'd say that about Delina). I will come back to my review later today after smelling how they both fare in the end! Update: 5 hours later. First Kiss is still going stronger than Delina and I would say First Kiss is stronger on rose/fresh at this point, Delina a lot lighter and still a bit more creamy. For your money, I think First Kiss is worth it if you don't feel the need to own Delina.

I've had this perfume and Lady Diana from Alexandria Fragrances (which are supposed to be the same) for a couple weeks now. I feel like when I first received the perfumes, they smelled far more like nutmeg and incense than Delina does (which I have a decant of). After the bottles have sat on my dresser for a while and settled a bit, though, I have found that this smells far closer to Delina than I originally thought. I'm not sure what the deal is, but I know from other reviews that I'm not alone when I say this. If you smell First Kiss/Lady Diana and it doesn't smell as close to Delina as people mention, give it some time to "settle" in the bottle and eventually I have found that they smell almost identical! I will say, however, that the nutmeg and incense note (especially the nutmeg) are a lot more prominent for the first hour or so in First Kiss

This is a 30% dupe for Delina upon first sniff. It is much sharper, more heavy on the rose, less sweet, and less plush. The opening is comparable to Delina, but the middle starts to become hard to bear. It's so sharp, sneeze- and headache-inducing. This is Delina if they came out with a mosquito repellent version. If the weather were sticky hot, this might just smell a bit more similar, but it really lacks the roundness to the original that made it so addictive. Now, I am fortunate enough to own the real Delina, so perhaps my nose has been spoiled, but nothing will compare to the original -- not First Kiss, not Angel Nova (how do they even smell alike??), not Chloe -- Delina is one of a kind.

I have tried the original Delina and received a sample of First Kiss yesterday. When compared at the atomizers, they are 95% similar with the Delina smelling a bit brighter and cleaner. On skin, the First Kiss is a bit more tart, quite pungent, slightly headache inducing, where Delina is it's typical rhubarby-tart self but somehow more tolerable and softer, easier to wear, more pleasant to the nose. First kiss does dry down eventually and becomes more sweet - even more sweet than Delina. I'm not a fan of the original Delina really - so it's not surprising that I don't care for First Kiss either. If I was to buy this scent - I'd go for the original Delina, but neither appeal to me.

I am a perfume addict and have an obscene amount of perfume bottles and hundreds of decants. FINALLY, after years of searching, I found my true love and it is Delina. To my nose it is the best thing since sliced bread. OMG I love it. Now I am on a mission to buy similar scents. I bought Lady Diana from Alexandria and LOVE it just as much! Tonight I read that this is a delina dupe too. SO glad I read all these comments before buying it because I would have never known it is the same fragrance exactly as Lady Diana! Thank you guys for sharing that important info!

A sophisticated fruity floral fragrance. I didn't realize this was a dupe for Delina at first and I have to say it's very close about 90-95% close. So much so I think you would be satisfied with this fragrance especially at the price it goes for. You smell the litchi, rose and rhubarb more than anything mixed with a bouquet of florals. I love Exclusif more because of the emphasis on the vanilla base, but I'm happy to own this and think this is worth trying at a more affordable price.

@ejvelez I encountered the same problem as you, I ordered first kiss but I received a fragrance that smelled only of roses (probably Eden rose). I have been trying to contact them for 3 weeks and still no response from them. In addition, this poorly executed order took 3 months to arrive, even though I paid more than 20 euros for postage. I do not recommend this brand at all, although the perfumes smell good, they are not reliable and customer service is nonexistent.

This on me just turns sweet. This scent is supposed to be inspired by Delina, but it doesn’t live up to its inspiration. However my skin has a habit of eating Delina, so perhaps my body chemistry is effecting First Kiss. On the initial spray, I find this one to be greener than Delina. It is certainly reminiscent, but I don’t find it dupe level. Its not bad, but on my skin it becomes a sweet messy smell in the first thirty minutes.

As someone who owns both delina and first kiss, they are identical in the first initial spray. Following this though, there isn’t much to compare. I smell a sharp note of rhubarb and some other green note but everything that makes delina the beauty that it is, is missing from first kiss. First kiss is still a lovely fragrance with its floral/fruity notes don’t get me wrong but they are two different fragrances in my opinion.

Some of y’all need to calm down 😂 everyone’s nose and chemistry is different. Ik people who’ve spent the $300 on Delina and say that it smells the exact same, and others don’t 🤷🏽♀️ It’s that simple. Good thing it was only a fraction of what the inspired fragrance costs. _________ Update (1/23/23) was able to sample Delina and I couldn’t tell the difference 💕

I have First Kiss by Be Layered as well as Lady Diana by Alexandria. The scents are the same however, Alexandria Lady Diana beats First Kiss in projection and sillage. It's overall performance puts First Kiss to shame. Be Layered fragrances fade away after about 15 min. While Alexandria's are relentless and 100% worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like this. I thought I only liked gourmand fragrances until I got a whiff of First Kiss. The rhubarb/lychee combo leaves this delicious sour-tart fruity smell that lasts forever. It's fresh and sparkly. I always get compliments when I wear this.

I like it a lot. I don't care if it doesn't smell like Delina because its still a really good scent. However I disagree that its more for spring/summer, I feel like it could be all year round perfume. I guess I have to try Delina now to see how good of a dupe it is
