Geneva Chocolate

I really love this perfume. Its essentially just what i wanted out of a chocolate fragrance. Its powdery sweet and is decently long lasting. And key for me is that i can actually smell it on myself. One time it had been on for 6 or 7 hrs and at that point i wasnt smelling it anymore when i had a patient complement me on it. (I was amazed she could smell it.) She asked what it was and i told her and said it was a chocolate scent and that i thought it was reminiscent of tootsie rolls and she completely agreed. She said thats exactly what she was smelling. Haha. Who new I'd like smelling like that?! Recommend to anyone who wants a chocolate scent.

100% straight metly thick delicious decadent chocolate perfume. superb! Try NOT to lick your arm while wearing this! I wore it to work and everyone kept asking why it smelled like chocolate or Swiss Miss? Yum. It is similar to Alexandria Fragrances Cacao Dreams but even more chocolate!

My favorite gourmand...It smells like swissmiss chocolate powder with a hint of orange.I love to layer this with Be Layered's Cherry Delight which is supposedly a dupe for Tom Ford Lost Cherry.

Ok , new review I layered this with sweet spirit, Cinnabomb , and caramel overdose and oh my good lord in heaven

i dont like it on its own- less intense version of chocolate than i was exepecting but I paired it with hugo boss- private accord since i wanted more chocolate and it is PERFECT. great for layering but not as much depth on its own.

For a fragrance with only chocolate as a listed note, it sure doesn't smell all that chocolatey to me. I smell a lot more orange with a hint of synthetic chocolate far in the background. The chocolate smells more like a tootsie roll than real chocolate. The openening also has a bit of spiciness that I can't place. That spiciness diappears as it dries down. I have yet to find a really find an amazing chocolate fragrance that captures the smell of a high end chocolate shop. Geneva Chocolate sure isn't it. It's not even that great if I take the expectation of chocolate out of the equation. It's not terrible, just not very good. It has decent performance. It lasts around 6 hours with a light to moderate projection. The orange keeps it bright enough that this could be worn any time of year. I don't find it dark or heavy and even the sweetness is more sugary than syrupy. I have a decant and I won't be purchasing a full bottle. I probably won't even keep the decant I have. I'm just not interested in wearing this one. It just smells like disappointment. Also Be Layered fragrances are pretty expensive for Canadians, after shipping, currency conversion and duties they end up costing the same or more than some of the fragrances they are trying to dupe.

I've had this one for a few months testing on and off. This is also my first main chocolate scent, so I can't compare this to others out there, as I have not experienced those yet. It's not exactly what I expected. I was preparing for a gooey Swiss milk chocolate based off the brand's description. What I can say is that this fragrance is very nice and comforting, but it's not exactly a pure chocolate note only (nor Swiss chocolate). It definitely has a dry bakers unsweetened cacao powder scent with a little something else peeking out from under while remaining pretty linear. I'm actually reminded of a loose leaf tea I had that was made with chamomile flower heads and cacao nibs. Geneva Chocolate has that same pure unsweetened cacao smell mixed with what I perceive as chamomile. I also perceive an ever so slight sweet wooden tobacco pipe vibe, although this isn't a smokey scent. It's a nice blend. Since it is not sugary sweet, I think this can be unisex for sure.

This is what I thought Boss The Scent Private Accord was going to smell like. Opens with chocolate orange and as the citrus fades the sweetness softens. I am constantly searching for chocolate fragrances and this is much better than most, which actually doesn't mean much! It's not musky in the dry down like Alexandria Cacao Dreams, a bit more symplistic so it's about personal prefrence. I find no spice notes at anytime. An easy unisex fragrance if you are looking for simple sweet. As advertised, it's great to layer.

this is why i love chocolate, but hate chocolate fragrances. i second the artificial vanillin smell. too sweet, almost becomes sour or milky, but also powdery. swiss miss is accurate ig, but very generous bc this is not appetizing.

I purchased several fragrances from this brand and every single one smells bad. All smell cheap synthetic....like something you would smell off a scratch off sticker for a child. Save your money.

I like this a lot for layering, but annoyingly the lsting power is not grear

This is NOT chocolate. This is orange zest and generic spice like a in a kitchen store. It has a very artificial vanillin note but not one iota of chocolate. Choco musk by Al rehab is more chocolaty than this (for only $2.95). This was such a let down. They really need to reevaluate their naming and description process because both are wildly inaccurate

This is...terrible. It smells like a chocolate scented eraser if that makes sense. Save your money.

This is most comparable to sharp, baker's cocoa powder upon first spray but eventually dries down to a softer, powdery chocolatey scent. Can be used for layering but can also be easily worn solo. It has staying power but fortunately is not so strong that it enters the room before you, which is Not what any well made parfum should do.

This reminds me of Prada Candy Night. Very powdery chocolate. I bought the strawberry to layer it with for a chocolate covered strawberry smell. It layers fairly well but the chocolate smelled more like chocolate than the strawberry. Not a bad thing. I still think its worth the price of a spritzer.

To my delight, this is a dupe for one of my all time favorite chocolate frags that has long been discontinued (Aquolina Chocolovers.) Creamy milk chocolate with a hint of Orange. Yum! The only thing is is that I wish it lasted longer on me and projected more.

I might be the only one who smells this; does anyone else smell orange in this perfume? On the opening, it smells just like milk chocolate, but after a minute or two, I smell a little bit of orange? It smells pretty darn tasty!
