I have to confess I don't own Mon Guerlain, and even though I realize this is supposed to be a dupe (or as Be Layered says, an 'inspired by' scent) I ordered a tester based on the profile and am utterly entranced by it as a standalone fragrance. Holy wow, this is sweet and fruity and powerful. As it warms on my skin, it really starts to open up: what starts initially as a fluffy, citrusy vanilla takes on woodsy effervescence, thanks to the sandalwood. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes Nest's Midnight Fleur, which isn't as sweet on my skin, but imparts the same warm jasmine and woods notes in the dry down. YUM.

I'm surprised there are not more reviews on these perfumes. I ordered a sample set of Be Layered perfumes, and this was my favorite out of the "inspired" fragrances. I also like there cherry perfume and "Close Encounter." Beautiful take on Mon Guerlain. Side by Side, it is almost the same. I would say it is just a tiny bit more powdery sweeter on the dry down and longer lasting. It is a great fragrance on its own, regardless of how close it smells to Mon Guerlain.

Smells like Lavender and vanilla...soft, sensual and romantic fragrance. One of my faves.

This one grew on me over a day or so. The dry down smells similar to Lolita Lempicka IMO (Iris, sandalwood, vanilla, tonka in common)

You can buy Mon Guerlain 1.7 EDT for about $45, so how is this a good value?
