Coco Moon

I got really curious after seeing a review of one of my favourite fragrance reviewers on Youtube rating this one pretty high. I like coconut but I couldn't find a fragrance with this note that does it well. I liked VIW but never was a fan of its performance, I also tried Velvet Haze by Byredo but I feel the coconut note was pretty faint there. I usually don't do blind buys but with the current circumstances I decided to give it a try and boy I was right! Honestly I was just expecting some photo-realistic presentation of a Pina-Colada-like fragrance but this is much more than that. This fragrance is super well blended and is at the same time festive, laid-back but very elegant (mostly due to the woody notes). I also get some smokiness in here that reminds me of Cedrat Boisé, which I own and love too. I can totally see a guy wearing an elegant white linen shirt with fitted swim shorts and a panama hat sitting at the beach bar wearing this. I am really impressed with this release especially considering that this brand is pretty young but is already hitting hard. I cannot agree more with a previous comment comparing Beach Geeza with Andy Tauer in terms of originality and artistic direction. Even if you don't like coconut just try it you'll probably fall in love with it. Happy smelling.

Oooooh baby!! This stuff is fantastic and if you are a coconut fanatic this could become your holy grail scent! So this a sumptuous, balmy, beach scent. It’s interesting because I find this to be perfect for the summer but the scent is not as translucent or sharp as most summer frags can be. Every note is a heavy hitter with this one. So this opens with a fleshy coconut layered with sweet pineapple, and thick velvety petals of white florals. It’s a fascinating composition because the woodsy base is evident from the get go, you sense it’s presence as it keeps the coconut interesting and not so cutesy-tropical as some sunscreen type perfumes can get. I do find this to lean a bit masculine and I believe it is the oakmoss and cedar wood that does that, but paired with the sandalwood everything remains lusciously smooth, which I find to be uncommon amongst summer frags for men. So my brother smelled this scent on me when I was testing it yesterday and he became obsessed. Since today is his first day of med-school I decided to give it to him as a gift, plus I think the perfume is better suited for him, I am a little sad though because I loved the scent, so I might buy myself a little mini bottle just to have around. Great stuff 💯

I have a bottle of the OG Coco Moon (which I guess would be the EDP version now) and what an absolute MONSTER this scent is. My entire family loves when I bust this out during the summer and at this point my entire summer wardrobe smells like Coco Moon as the oils of this beast embed themselves into the fabric permanently! You really better love coconut if you buy this and the vanilla helps the whole thing project like crazy. I live in Georgia and at first I was afraid this would not work in the heat/humidity but it really does (but be aware it's very strong!) This is my summer "I'm here to dominate the pool" scent, haha. UPDATE: As my original Coco Moon from 2021 was running low, I ordered the EDP to backfill. Upon early wearing, it seems the formulation is a tad bit different. I notice less focus on coconut and more emphasis on the cedar. It still smells great, but "warmer" and not as tropical IMO.

At first sniff I found it comparable to a mix of Virgin Island Water and Fire Island. It’s a something of a beach-y scent. There’s coconut, pineapple and citrus that blends with the florals to give that almost suntan lotion, but something of a luxurious higher end lotion. In the dry down, it changes to something more ozonic. Probably the oakmoss and sandalwood coming out, it’s an extremely pleasant smell. When I say pleasant I mean, there’s no way anyone, even someone who hates fragrances, could complain. It’s a very classy and luxurious scent. Which is surprising, especially for a new house to put out something this good this early, reminds me of great Andy Tauer. It’s amazing and if you’re into fragrances, you should give it a shot. They’re quite inexpensive for niche fragrances.

This is the strongest fragrance I own. I can still detect this scent on my skin after not one, but two showers and three days later. Needless to say, a little goes a long, long way. So, yeah, $190 for 50ml. This is not your normal 50ml edp. Not even a parfum. This is essentially an extrait which is why Ryan made the changes he did. One, two sprays MAX. Beautiful, coconut scent. I don't wear it often, but when I do I am almost at 100% of the time when at least somebody asking what that coconut scent is they are smelling. If you are timid about what others may think about the fragrance you are wearing, this is not the fragrance for you (although I thoroughly enjoy wearing it around the house bc it smells so nice.)

This smells fantastic! Not sure what you’re all smelling. This is as realistic as it gets my friends. If you’re not a fan of Coconut then it’s probably why it doesn’t work for you. This is not a Pineapple scent it’s Coconut prominent woody floral with a creamy Sandalwood dry down. Less is more. This is a vacation in a bottle. Outstanding!

A great blend of coconut and pineapple , nothing aventusy going on here! It has a fair amount of coconut , a high end coconut mixed with vanilla and citruses, oak moss gives it some depth and separates it from sun tan lotion category. It’s a getest fragrance . I suggest everyone to give it a try!

To me this is VIW where the lime has been replaced with a buttery sandalwood and the longevity has been ramped up significantly. Im so friggin happy to have found this one. Ive now purchased 7 bottles of Coco Moon EDP and will continue to rip through bottles at a savage pace.

Just got it today. Very strong Woody/floral with watery coconut. Somehow I smell a fig note. It has a strong resemblance to a much stronger version of Guess 1981 Indigo. To me both have a nice combination of a fig accord with a watery coconut throughout the life of the frag.

This one here is a beast mode tropical fragrance that will have you being sniffed repeatedly. Great for casual putting in the spring and summer. This is one you must have in your collection. As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

Very nice sweet summer scent. Coconut and pineapple dominant to my nose, very nice and juicy tropical scent. Perfect vacation scent to me, longevity is good and projection is moderate. Wish it was priced better, but overall an 8/10

Yea I love this juice. I’m in SE Asia a lot and always make sure this goes with me whenever I travel. It does well for me in these hot/tropical climates and I get compliments. I love it so much I have another bottle on standby ✌🏼😬

I guess that most people that are complaining about the lack of performance is because they bought the EDT version. The EDP is a true beast is longevity.

A beautiful beastly tropical fragrance that gets compliments and won’t break the bank. 2 sprays fills a room and last all day. My summer signature. 10/10

Pineapple, Coconut, and Vanilla. It's basically swapping out the lime from Virgin Island Water for Pineapple. I'm a big fan, good, beachy fragrance and I think it can fill that Virgin Island Water niche if you don't want to spend the money or go with a clone. Good projection and longevity, and my wife likes it, since it has citrus, vanilla and coconut. Good solid scent, great for the summer or a vacation.

Light, ghostly 👻 citrus bomb mixed with coconut. Very pleasant but too light. Almost didn’t make grade 🙂. But it is quite pleasant. Not offensive. Easy wear. Safe blind buy if you’re looking for a subtle wear.

VERY. VERY. STRONG. Not exactly what I was expecting from the reviews...but a fairly nice well made fragrance. Coconut, tuberose, a splash of pineapple and HEAPS of oakmoss. Supported by a base of cedar and sandalwood. Initial spray was very intense. I got the blast of coconut tuberose but coupled with a fruity pineapple and a MASSIVE dose of pungent oakmoss. I was perplexed. Do I like this? is it beachy? Is it coconut? It is NOT a piña colada. After an hour it smoothed out and the notes blend more. Not a sweet scent. I like it more after 2 hours, but I think 2 sprays was OVERKILL (especially in 100/38 deg temps) This is a man beachy scent. I can see how a lot of men would really like this too. Leans masculine, but definitely can be worn by women. For me, as a female, this is not my coconut beachy heaven, but it might be my man's.

It is a very interesting, sort of realistic coconut combined with something I can't quite put my finger on (a musk?) that I have smelled before (I feel like it's similar to the musk - or different unnamed note - found in the Light Blue line). I don't hate it, but there's something off-putting. Could just be my skin chemistry with whatever that mystery note is (Cedar... hmmm?). I have a similar issue with the Light Blues. This is not fresh. It is unique so there is some value in getting your nose on a sample. I think it could be a grower even though, right now, it ain't a... show-er... EDIT: I think it's the cedar note. And it dominates (on my skin) the longer the fragrance wears. Not great for me unfortunately.

A nice predominantly coconut, cocoa, bezoin, slightly vanilla scent on my skin. Really balanced, and attractive if you're looking for something with tropical (but not over the top) ingredients. I really don't get any pineapple or bergamot in this. I've had my bottle for a little over a year. It would be a fantastic scent of it performed better, but on my skin (even with quite a few sprays) it turns into a skin scent within an hour. Its really too bad because with a bit more "amplification" this would really be a winner. Honestly, I'm disappointed given the price.
