Pistachio & Dark Cherry

The first thing that hits my nose is the cherry and some kind of nut--whether that's the pistachio or the listed almond note is beyond me because the sweetness of the cherry makes it difficult to discern from the sweetness of the nut. I find that the whipped body cream lasts MUCH longer than the milk shake. The dry-down is close to the skin, but still strong, and the cherry is what lasts the longest; it's very much present from the initial use to hours later (again, whipped body butter, not the milk shake). The cherry notes on my skin come off as fresh, sort of with a forest-ish note, which could be the amber. It dries down and keeps the fruitiness, but the initial almond and cherry gives way to a warmer pistachio with cherry by its side. I'm a guy and this is definitely a more feminine scent but I'd say a man could make it work if he used the body cream and layered it with a more masculine frag that has some complimentary notes to play on the sweetness of Dark Cherry & Pistachio but blend with the warmth of the pistachio that sits on the skin. EDIT: I forgot to mention that the spray and cream smell almost identical, except the spray is a bit more fruity. They both are very strong scents that you don't have to be up close to smell, but the spray doesn't last long at all and the cream stays strong. The cream mellows out to a nice warm skin scent after about an hour. This is one of my favorite Beekman scents--shame that it's seasonal!
