Desert Rose

A pink fluffy rose dotted with dew on a spring morning. This is criminally underrated. It’s refreshing, playful, lightly sweet, and graceful. It is not juvenile or immature. Desert Rose is a young wife’s perfume. It is a delicate aquatic rose with a sheer scent bubble that flutters around you. Performance and projection is moderate, but she is not a skin scent, she is dainty but not shy. Desert rose is an incredibility simple perfume. But simple can also be incredibility difficult to pull off. But Being Freshie knocked this out of the park, and it’s also affordable easily accessible. This is a 10/10 fragrance. For layering of course it works with rose and pear forward fragrances. But try it with aquatic perfumes, like Dolce & Gabbana Q, Dolce Garden, and Aqua Di Gioia. This also pairs very well with peony and cotton candy forward perfumes beautifully.

This review is based off a sample I tried from their discovery kit. I haven't had a chance to try the test bottle in the store. This is basically a very fresh, juicy pink floral that forms a nice scent cloud around you considering the nominal price. The rose is not front and center, but nicely balanced with pear to create a succulent, lush pink floral effect. The cypress is not very detectable but allows the perfume to not become too sweet, basic and juvenile. Has mass appeal and I think Delina lovers would also like this one, though they are not the same perfume but in the same vein. Smell: 9 out of 10 Strength: 7 out of 10 Feminine For reference, I'm female.

Very pretty. Im pretty difficult to impress when it comes to rose. I don't particularly like or dislike it as a note. This one is fresh, watery, and a bit sweetened. It's not tart in the way the delinas or very good girl is. It's a cleaner overall scent than those. But let me be clear, it is not at all similar to Ouai's Melrose Place which I strongly dislike. Instead of being astringent and old-timey, Desert Rose is youthful, fruity, and lively. For reference I tried the perfume oil.

Not fruity or sweet on me. Very fresh and shampoo-like. One of the only rose fragrances I don’t hate!
