Palo Santo Sage Oil

i got this because i love how the body wash smells soooo much, but the oil somehow comes across as soapier than the actual body wash. when i apply it there's something so sharply aldehydic and salty about it that i can't shake, and i can't get the deeper palo santo or herbal scents coming out :/

I received this as part of a Trendmood box that I bought. Clean, good for environments where you shouldn’t wear fragrance. Skin scent. Soft, woody scent, and unisex. It’s nice, but not sure if it’s for me.

Growing up in the 90’s-2000’s, I didn’t have the typical “butter mom,” I had more of a “butter mom meets Practical Magic” type of mom. She canned her own jams, grew herbs and specific flowers in her garden, collected crystals, dried herbs to make smudge sticks, and baked muffins, breads, pies. Those types of smells have become source of comfort and nostalgia and this rollerball brings me right back to childhood, standing in the living room, lighting a sage smudge stick to cleanse our space of negativity. I love the grounding properties this brings me when I wear this. It’s woodsy, a bit herbaceous from the sage and slightly sweet from the ylang. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a touch of nostalgia and tranquility in their daily routine, or looking to smell like a Practical Magic witch. 🔮✨
