Air

Air is an unexpected interpretation of its namesake. You might expect something fresh and spacious with perhaps a sprinkle of aldehydes. Nuh uh. This isn't that. If you could imagine the smell of an atmosphere a bolt of lightning has just arced through, you're on your way to clicking with this perfume. Its initial sprays do have a freshly BBQ'ed smell, but give it a few minutes to breathe. It doesn't go from zero to Beaufort. I promise. It wears with a persistent smokiness, but it's a gentle, long-extinguished smoke rather than roaring bonfire. I found it really enjoyable to wear and appreciate the brand's unique approach to the concept.

I SAY - Give it some time... Don't wash your hand off right after application. :D Truth be told... it does smell like a piece of smoked meat at the start. So much it woke up my dog and when I gave him my hand to sniff, he started to lick it. :D But that's just the start. It goes into more suitable for its name direction later on. You can definitely detect ISO notes here. And it gets really nice and smooth. And it is the drydown after all, what stays the longest with you, so I'm pleased with this fragrance. I might say... we b o t h love it! Me and my dog. :D

This is an interesting one, very unique scent that is unfortunately not for me. There is a strong sweet smokiness to this one that I can't help draw comparisons to BBQ sauce, again it's very interesting and will do VERY well in the cold.

oh wow what an experience lol I mean... if you want to be walking around smelling like a smoked salami...sure Not what I expected from the name of the perfume haha

I’m sorry to offend but this fragrance is horrendous! It literally smells like pine sol and dirty mop water. It’s a NO for me dawg!

Possibly the name of the fragrance is an ironic statement on our current climate? Or a deliberate disruption of your usual expectations. Naming a fragrance Air brings assumption of clean, airy, fresh etc. Well forget that! This initially reminds me of garages, tyres, rubber, motor oil. Most prominent is the bracing birch tar note with cade. However impressions vary and my Romanian partner said this reminded him of delicious Slanina which is a cured/smoked slab of pork backfat which is fumigated with wood for 3 days. Its certainly an interesting and unusual fragrance to smell which calms down as it wears and becomes more transparent. A journey from smoke/fug to cleanish air? You decide.
