Peach Me

I got a sample of this and it BLEW ME AWAY!!! The opening smells like licking the skin of a fuzzy peach. After a couple of hours, it smells like burnt caramel and vanilla. IT IS SO GOOD and lasts for more than twelve hours (even when you take a shower to rinse it off). only one spray is needed, unless you want to suffocate your peers.

I typically don't like perfumes with a peach note because they give me a bathroom air freshener vibes BUT this one is different. It feels like you are smelling a super ripe and sweet fuzzy peach or like haribo peach candy. So yummy!

Very realistic sweet peach with a musky undertone. Lovely but very expensive for what smells like a fairly basic scent.

This fragrance runs through all of its tricks rather quickly. Fantastic peach to begin with, then hits with sickeningly cloying (and as a gourmand lover I almost never use that word) caramel, leaving synthetic peach body spray in its wake. Better than most peach efforts but still not one that will find a home with me.

The peach note is like a shooting star—there it is, dazzling and glimmering with its fresh juicy ripeness, but then you blink and it is gone as quickly as it came. Overall, the longevity of this fragrance is insultingly brief and the sillage is intimate with a slight linger. What you're left with when the peach fades after an hour is a cozy-smelling musk over those sweet-spicy scented pinecones that begin popping up around in department stores at the turn of the fall season, as Kiraagold had mentioned in their review below. I wouldn't say it is completely cloying, but I can see how the fruity sweetness of the initial 30 minutes might overwhelm someone you happen to stay in the vicinity of. I sadly don't pick up on any coconut, mango, or bergamot, and these are favorites of mine :( However, not all was lost on this little sample with the performance of a BBW body spray at a steep price point! The spiciness was indeed something I enjoyed, but that osmanthus... WOW! This singular floral managed to be the real star of the show, very delicate, tea-like, and refreshing. While I am not a fan of this scent, the osmanthus has converted me into an osmanthus-crazed lunatic. Forget finding a cute peachy fragrance for the summer! MUST. FIND. MORE. OSMANTHUS!

I didn’t know much about this one before I ordered a sample on a peach hunt I had earlier this summer. I sprayed it on a paper strip, and sniffed the bottle and was really taken aback by a liquorice smell? I am not saying it wasn’t sweet but it was more like a couch drop? Something really medicinical before it transformed into a sweet peach flavoured hard candy with a salty liquorice core. It was addicitive in a weird way, but I was afraid that it would be too sweet, or too salty, or too weird to be on my skin for x hours. When I finally tried it on my skin it was something else. The slighly artificial peach candy smell was still there, but the liquorice (which I now believe was the pepper or cloves blended with something else?) wasn’t there at all. I almost got to the smell a realistic juicy peach, but as soon as I detected it, it dissapeared behind a veil of sickly sweet caramel, almost to the point where I feel like my arm is sticky. It ends up feeling juvenile, like a body mist, and I almost miss when the liquorice made this unique. It is still good, but I am not really a gourmand girl, like this turns out to be.

vibrant.girl is right - opening smells just like peach schnapps. I do get a bit more of the vanilla - like an artificial peach popsicle/creamsicle that is halfway melted. It dries down on my skin in a way where you can't quite smell the peach anymore. It becomes a soft, musky, woody vanilla. Worth sampling, but not full bottle worthy for me.

It smells like the artificial peach flavored gum or candy.

I'm on the hunt for the perfect peach scent - peach-o's, overripe peach, peach cobbler... peaches are my obsession and I was SO excited to get a sample of this. Peach rings, spices, vanilla, coconut? My favorite accords! So, here goes. This is straight-up the smell of sneaking Dekuyper Peach Schnapps from your friends' mom's liquor cabinet as a teenager. The initial spray is syrupy and THICK - I was immediately transported back to a gross basement, trying to flirt with boys from the rival high school. Once it settles, there is a nicer lightness from the musk, and I can *feel* the fruit trying to come through, but it's smothered completely by the caramel. I wish they would reformulate with just vanilla/tonka for sweetness and let the PEACH shine! They were so close :( My hunt for the perfect peach continues.

With all the notes this does have, the completely dominant scent I get celery. Yech. Not for me.

A huge disappointment for someone who has always loved peach. The caramel is just way too strong, giving it a syrupy sweet undertone that makes the peach smell rotten. The peach is also unfortunately of the super-synthetic variety, and hence smells like amorphous fruit more than like the real deal that we all love in the summer or in pie. BBW Pretty as a Peach body mist is better than this, and that's saying a lot. Luckily, it disappeared on me almost immediately, which is something that usually makes me sad, but this one was so nauseatingly cloying with the whipped cream/caramel bomb that I was happily surprised by it's lack of longevity. There are many fragrances that aren't for me but that I appreciate. I just don't appreciate this one at all, and am having a hard time imagining this on anyone. If you want a good peach, try Peche Cardinal or Peche et Suede instead.

This is a no for me. It had a sickly green note on top (possibly cassis and clove?) it started smelling okay an hour later but by then I already wanted to shower and jus get it all off of me

I got a sample of this and was very excited for this luscious sounding peach smell. I love a hyper-realistic gourmand and was hoping for tropical peaches and mango with sweet whipped cream. This doesn't give that sadly. It's a classic peach smell combined with prominent caramel (at least on me!). It goes a bit muskier after about 4 hours on me but until then it kind of just smells like a one note hyper sweet peach. It's pleasant and easy to wear but smells more like a VS body spray to me. I like this brand though and would recommend trying a few- I'm obsessed with bubblegum!

or, Kirkland's in liquid form. Seriously, this stuff opens with nice juicy tropical peach dangling-from-the-mirror car air freshener, or maybe even the clip-onto-the-vent-because-my-dog-barfed-on-the-way-to-the-vet, you-can-buy-it-in-wax-melts-too kind. The fruit fades to the skin over the next six hours into spice mix potpourri from the store at the mall that starts selling cinnamon scented pine cones in September.

It is always nice to read that a company is cruelty free. Thanks to Fragrantica for mentionning it every single time whenever a fragrance does not come from testing and killing (afterwards) animals. Can't wait to have this available here in Canada!

It smells like saunf/fennel. Saunf is fennel seeds coated with sugar. Its kind of interesting but not peachy. When it dries it smells kind of pungent. Maybe an interesting christmassy vibe. Like fruitcake with spices.

A very nice and juicy peach accord, unfortunately there is a dirty and sickly note (tonka +caramel?) sitting on top of it, I wish it could go away but it doesn’t.

Intrigued by the notes and bottle. Where can I find samples of these in Germany, please? Thank you.
