Stunned

Stunned is stunning. Funky, verdant, sweet, resinous, and joyful. Goes on with a draw of labdanum smoke, then exhales long--with sticky cannabis cupcake frosting and relaxing cloves--in personal space for most of the evening. You wake in the morning with a smudge of sugary patchouli on the skin, and only a vague idea of what actually happened the night before. I love that Bel Rebel didn't go the haute couture route that Florabotanica did--here they embrace messy weed culture full on, with head-shop cliches, creosote smeared bongs and gooey candy excess.

This is so nostalgic for me. Smells exactly like a Psychic Eye book store, conjures mental images of tarot cards, crystals, and dusty old books. I can't help but love it.

This is an intriguing take on a heavy gourmand fragrance, definitely worth trying if you're curious about it. It's sticky-sweet but also spicy and resinous, and these facets play off of each other very nicely. Unfortunately I also get a bit of a plasticky medical note, but it's less pronounced after the opening. The only other cannabis-inspired perfume I've tried so far is Malin + Goetz Cannabis, which goes in an entirely different direction. That one is a fresh masculine-leaning unisex scent. Stunned is more feminine-leaning and much heavier. It's very appealing in its contrast of sweet and earthy notes, and would make a great winter fragrance.

Distinctive vivid gorgeous notes, with dominating myrrh. Keeping in mind the rebelous concept, I guess it is done on purpose that every note here sounds separately, not in an accord. Chaotic but fun. I would not dare to spray it while wearing clothes of light colours - this perfume leaves colour traces.

Dark, slightly vintage smelling, balsamic fragrance. Very unusual

This smells like an incense stick to me. Aromatic. I imagine it more as a room scent.

Stunned is an absolutely diabolical excuse for a fragrance. Straight away you’re blasted by this badly composed mix of myrrh, clove and nutmeg which is warm and spicy in a way but that cannabis note just takes everything into a harsh, synthetic and medicinal direction. There’s a strong sense of vanilla in here, which is very sweet but also smells very cheap. Other than that there’s not much going on in this scent, it’s very abrasive and rough around the edges - certain to give you a headache very easily. I really don’t understand this scent. The quality of materials comes across so obviously cheap and lazy, it’s like there was no thought put into the overall scent profile. A definite hate for me which doesn’t come round often for me.

Nothing says winter wonderland quite like Stunned. This fragrance opens with a foundation of amber that's so warm you would think it retains heat. The person below me likened this to Grand Soir. I'd have to agree. It's like Grand Soir with Turkish rose. This narrow specialist is fairly predictable morphing from one embrowned stage to the next. At this point, the obvious question is am I stunned by what I smell? Umm... I don't know about that. I mean... it's likeable in a Utah or North Dakota kind of way. I like for my fragrances to have more abracadabra but I do recognize this as an oriental Arcadia of sorts. 90% of this fragrance was built around notes that you would typically find in the base of other fragrances. If infrastructure is your thing then don't be afraid, Go topless!

My new favourite from this house! Very sweet and hypnotic. The vanilla and cloves combination remind me of their other crowd pleaser Bubblegum but this has added floral facet and the cannabis note. The cannabis note is well judged here, it adds a naughty edge to the sweetness but isn't overwhelming in the scent. The syrup covers the cannabis leaf. It's delicious, you'll smell good enough to eat! A wonderfully creative gourmand.
