Bohemia Garnet

Gorgeous packaging with the box it comes in and the scent smells very uplifting and elegant! I was having a gander at H Beauty with my mother and the name "Bohemian Garnet" intrigued me as my partner was Czech and once gifted me a pair of Bohemian Garnet earrings! On me, the raspberry and woody scents come out quite strong, to the point where it somewhat smells faintly like leather... like a significantly more floral and lighter Eau Rihla from Diptyque but that's just my opinion and skin chemistry. Bohemian garnets as jewels are not one large garnet but lots of smaller garnets clustered together like bright crimson pomegranate seeds so it's fitting that there is a slight pomegranate scent in this perfume - the name is fitting for such a vibrant yet non-overwhelming scent. I had two sprays on the back of my hand at H Beauty and there was a high concentration of natural oil! On the initial spritz, I will say it's a smidgen generic and didn't wow me... like any well-made floral scent. But give it an hour to cook and my god is it a feast for the nose~! I keep smelling my hand and every time I give it a whiff, there's a new note I can pick out: fresh and floral; musky and warm; peppery and oud - every note is harmonious with each other. In addition, the longevity is incredible - normally perfumes degrade quickly on my skin but this still lingers even after washing my hand!! Projection is brilliant too; my mother kept wondering what the smell was and she loved it! I will say it's very spenny for what it is, but I must admit that this is high quality! Overall, the price is too steep at my current budget but this is definitely something I'll remember when I move up in life!
