Oud Gold

its a great perfume is you like intense oud and amber i let it sit for about 2 months as recomended by Bella Vita on the first day it smelled cheap a lot of alcohol and not that good but after 1 and half months it started to smell good. disclemmer: if you like fresh perfumes of lighter perfumes like Bella Vita fresh or skai i would not get this one if you like more intens perfume i would get this but let it sit for a month or two:

I am new to oud; I see how it could be a challenging note for some people. In this presentation, it's very smooth and powdery. There's a bit a sweetness also. The magic is in the dry-down. It's soft but present and it's creamy. I could see it being the perfect base for something bright and fruity and might transform a fragrance like that into a autumn/winter fragrance.

#1533 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as in a sample sprayette pack. This is the first BellaVita out of five that I would say is wearable and attractive and worth owning. Nice caramel and oud scent. There are a hundred scents with caramel. oud, rose, amber, each with accompanying notes that differentiate from all the others that start from this common mixture. This one is differentiated with an orris root note that gives it an after shower powder vibe that I like a lot. Acceptable longevity (makes it to lunch) and silage (arms length for two hours) Not bad..

Same as for Honey Oud - which I got on the same day - I wanted to get immediate thoughts down. 1. This smells cheap to me. I can smell the alcohol. 2. Honey Oud is sweeter and reminds of Khamrah (but sweeter and softer). 3. This leans more masculine to me. There is some sweetness, but it reminds me of aftershave. 4. If I could go back, I would have just gotten the Honey Oud and not this one. Of course, this is early days. I will update when both scents have had some time to think about their behavior!
