Vanilla

I got this because it has vanilla and i'm a sucker for anything with a vanilla note. I thought it would be more gourmand but it's definitely more on the floral/powdery side. Even though I was expecting gourmand I was pleasantly surprised with the scent. Very nice for spring/summer.

very distinct from the usual vanilla perfumes, i don't know if that's a good thing. really interesting to smell but i have mixed feelings on it. smelled a bit too sharp and overwhelming at the first spray, afterwards, it was fine but a bit disappointing. not as sweet as i hoped for.

Holy hell..nothing remotely vanilla about this. Musky aldehydes, THATS IT. Smells like an old teacher. Even with how much I dislike this, its only the second worst in the ‘Gourmet’ collection of 3. 🤕

The first thing I have to say, and it's a fact, is that this has 100% cinnamon on it. I love this note in perfumes when it's done like this, blending with vanilla to create a gourmand fragrance. It opens with cinnamon and aldehydes that give the fragrance a "bright" feel. Without a doubt, it's the best in the Gourmet line, because the mango one is awful in my opinion, and the pistachio one is a profile that's been overused. This is definitely a vanilla unlike any I've tried before, and I don't own anything quite like it. As for comparisons, it's nothing like Vanilla Powder, and even less like Eclaire. It has pretty good longevity and sillage, especially considering the price (600/500 rupees), which is about 5$

The first time I smelled it , it was very strong and weird , it gave me headaches but after I removed the cap and let it macerate it for like 4 months it has such a nice mango vanilla smell . If u have the patience to let it macerate you should buy it
